Cutting-Edge Banking Services 

What sets Oxygen apart from other banks is its loyalty tiers and cutting-edge protections. Personal banking options include Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire accounts. Earth’s PVC Card offers 2% cashback, 0.25% savings APY, and 3 virtual cards. Water’s Embedded Metal Card offers 4% cashback, 0.75% savings APY, and 15 virtual cards. Traditional Banking Services

While Oxygen is a mobile-only bank, it still delivers some familiar traditional banking services. Users can access over 40,000 Allpoint ATMs, surcharge-free, in all 50 states, including the District of Columbia. Although it does not offer IRAs or loans, Oxygen savings accounts provide competitive interest rates ranging from 0.25%–1.25%. Additionally, you can earn between 2% and 6% cashback on qualifying purchases and $1 when you buy groceries and coffee. 

Interest Rates and Fees 

Oxygen’s Earth and business account holders pay no monthly or transaction fees and require no minimum balance to open or maintain an account. Water, Wind, and Fire account owners pay an annual fee of $19.99, $49.99, and $199.99, respectively. However, Oxygen waives the annual fee if you meet both the minimum spending and deposit requirements for 12 consecutive months. Oxygen offers access to 40,000 ATMs in Allpoint’s network, surcharge-free, while out-of-network ATM withdrawals incur a $3 charge. Depending on the tier, interest rates on balances under $20,000 range from 0.25%–1.25% APY.

Mobile App  

To sign up for and access a personal or business account, you must download Oxygen’s free mobile app from the Apple or Google Play store. Through the app, you can make unlimited daily deposits and send or receive unlimited wire transfers. In addition to ACH and wire transfers, Oxygen’s mobile app supports check deposits, PayPal, Venmo, Green Dot, and external bank account connections. You can manage virtual cards, controls, and spending freezes through the app dashboard and locate nearby Allpoint ATMs with its ATM locator. The app is available for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. 

Security 

All accounts carry FDIC insurance up to $250,000 through Oxygen’s banking services provider, The Bancorp Bank. The app offers biometric security features and is PCI DSS certified. Additionally, virtual cards enable you to avoid using your physical debit card for risky purchases. However, Oxygen does share some personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Oxygen’s privacy policy provides full details about how it uses and shares your data.

I frequently transfer money into and…
I frequently transfer money into and out of my accounts and everything has been flawless for me. I've seen some of the recent reviews and I'm just reporting my experience has been great. I have not had to contact customer service or file a dispute like some of the recent reviews so it's possible that experience may be different. I do have their "fire" element card and the benefits (such as reimbursement for netflix) are always accurate and timely

I have had them for years when I tried…
I have had them for years when I tried to get a new card it wouldn't allow me to it says it mailed it. I have contacted customer service by email and phone and I can't get anything and their chat feature doesn't work. So I'm over it!

Just like others are saying
Just like others are saying, I had an active account for months and 2 days ago they randomly closed it without notifying me. Customer service can't tell you why, all they can do is process a check for your account balance which will take up to 14 business days. I got an email today that said "my account was closed due to a lack of proper identity verification". It's obviously an issue on their end but why they would jettison a customer instead of telling me what they need to get it fixed is sketchy. This is a shame because prior to this I really liked this bank and was planning to eventually make it my main bank. I even recommended them to family & friends. Now I just look foolish having to warn them away.

I opened an account a few months ago…
I opened an account a few months ago everything was great. Then about 2 days ago they closed my account with no notification. I had to call them to figure out what was going on. They won't tell me why the account was closed or how I would go about reopening it. My only option is to take a check for my account balance. I thought I would try the bank due to the great perks it offers. Don't trust them. This is a common issue and they will not help you.

They stole $275 from me!! would not explain why ( nothing about it in transactions history) and kept telling me my birth date on file was different I sent in my driver's license and all. They have you on hold and give you the run around. They were great for a year then all of a sudden it get sketchy

Don’t open an account with them
Don’t open an account with them. I had two seperate fradulent transactions totaling $80 that were obviously made by a prisoner or family member of a prisoner (one was for a prison calling service and another was for a prison commissary). It was a whole run around trying to report the charges and get my money back. A few weeks after they refunded my money, I got another email saying that one of the charges had no error and they took the money from my account again. When I asked for documentation showing why it was an error considering the transaction was 100% not authorized or made by me, they never responded. The cash back offers are also a pain to redeem. Go with literally any other bank

Scam artists!!
I didn't have any problem with this bank for several months but then someone got ahold of my card information and/ or my account information and completely wiped me out of $1550 dollars. I filed a claim the very next day (because their customer service is so godawful that I couldn't get the phone answered before they closed) and then they had the audacity to say "no error" after a 10-day investigation when the purchases CLEARLY didn't match my spending history and the fact that all $1550 was spent within a total of 60 seconds!! I changed all the account information, got a new email, password, etc and was about to change the direct deposit for the my next check but this thief beat me to it for my Feburary 1st check and stole ANOTHER $1600!! Now I've been on hold for almost 4 hours on and off because no managers are available and one of the reps even dared to hang up on me for dropping an F-Bomb because I was so utterly livid over the hardship this is causing me. DO NOT TRUST THESE SCAM ARTISTS WITH YOUR MONEY!!!!

What an awful bank. Save yourself some grief.
What an awful bank. I initially opened an account with them because I travel frequently, and I was tired of my previous bank locking my card all of the time. While this is a good feature of Oxygen, it is the only good thing they offer. If you ever lose your card, you are scr*wed. They say they mail a replacement card, but you never receive it. You have to contact customer service to receive a new one (again). It is a warranty that you will be on hold for upwards of an hour (if you can even get through, half of the time there is a recording saying you are being disconnected after having waited for a half hour). You can only deposit $500 in cash a day, and that is at a fee of $5. There app to upgrade to the Fire Element has been broken for around 3 months now, requiring you to deposit $60,000 PER MONTH in cash in order to qualify, lol. This is a mickey mouse operation that is ran by rude, unprofessional people. Also, the chat feature in the app is no longer available. Apparently, the "page has been moved." WHERE??? WHERE DID IT MOVE TO...?? Do not waste your time. Go to a reputable bank with in-person customer support. There are MANY out there that offer the cash-back feature that this terrible company offers.

Waiting since November 18…
Trying and waiting since November 18 for a replacement card, and after over 30 days I was told that it could not be expedited next or 2nd day , and that I would have to Pay 50.00, Now it is January 24, and still no debit card or access to the account. I am reporting this company for taking too long to get my atm card . and for poor customer service. The company started out good but has continuously gotten worse by the day. Waiting 89 days for a ATM card . Its a bad deal for this company that started out strong , however cant explain why this happened

What's up and asked if oxygen called. There dispute team . They said who . No.. They didn't .. So this banks a joke.. Hussein Ahmed Hussein... The owner,,CEO. Man.. Sad. That your dream... Will be a memory when I get done with this lawsuit .. Cuz. . You're not walking away with my money .. your bank. .dispute team and your customer service.... All don't care about your bank . Dream. Where did they go
Loved the bank, the services for a year now. Then poof… something shifted. Chat support is no longer working. Contact attempts made se real times via call line only to be on hold forever constantly hearing “please hold the next available representative will be right with as you are next in line. However at any give time please press 3 to leave a voicemail.” Then some music that sounds like it belongs on a horror scene plays over and over.

This banks customer service literally…
This banks customer service literally sucks! If I could give negative stars I would. I opened my account 12/15, it is now 1/9 and I still haven’t received my debit card. Not to mention I paid $50 to rush the sending of a second card since I never received the first one, and yet I still haven’t received anything. I keep trying to reach someone and keep getting hung up on once I’m the next caller in line. I will be reporting them to the BBB. Save yourself a headache and don’t get this bank!

At first I was happy with oxygen. A few weeks later. The nightmare arrives lost card they tell me 5 days. So all my money is non accessible for a week. After ten days still no card. Called c/s lady was rude and told me to wait. Couldn't track it. Or tell me if it was on the way. She had no answers. 2 weeks passed I called again and asked what the problem was. I don't know why oxygen has c/s. If they can't help you with anything she tells me. She will fed ex me a card after two weeks of waiting. 4 days later card arrives. They charged me 50 bucks. This was my best experience with oxygen . Short time after 1,741.00 was drained from my account in two days. From overseas from an ATM over 3700 miles away from me. Well I put in a dispute thinking this is obviously a no brainer . I get an email that says" We reviewed our records and found no error. Then they closed my account for no reason. What can I do?

My account was hacked in the beginning…
My account was hacked in the beginning of June. Called as soon as the customer service center opened. Out of 30000$ stolen they only refunded 5000dollars because quote I had a previous relationship with the person and I had my physical debit card on me. My account is still frozen after 5 months and customer service is no help. Nobody knows anything and the only answer I ever get is you have to wait for an email. Stay away from this bank.

Most unreliable bank I have ever see. I had money transferred from Zelle to this bank for which Zelle provided confirmation of the transaction. Oxygen has no record of the transaction. When I called customer service I got the same woman over and over again that was completely rude, would not answer any questions, would only repeat "check in 3-5 days" even after it had been 6, hung up on me, left me on hold several times, refused to get a supervisor, and insisted on calling me ma'am even after I said that I am male (which is very obvious - my first name is john and I have a deep voice). Since she appears to be the ONLY agent on staff and there is only one phone number to reach Oxygen, all customers are at her mercy. Terrible terrible terrible operation. May be ok if you never have a banking problem... good luck with that with a bank that can't work with its financial partners to move money around.

Super scammy
I received a card in the mail despite never opening an account. I called customer service to close the account which they did and sent me an email stating the account is closed. The customer service agent had an Indian accent and based on the phone call audio lag she was definitely operating out of a call center in India. Something interesting to note...While talking, the customer service agent confirmed they already had my email address on file for the account. I checked my email history and found ZERO records of "Oxygen" which means I never received an email about the account in the first place. Which means the company itself is creating these fraudulent accounts and choosing not to inform users via the email address on file. Or its also possible this whole thing was an elaborate phishing scheme designed to get users to call customer service and provide personal details that Oxygen didnt already have which will be used against you in the future.

Intrnal Fraud took over a thousand
I referred my brother when they had promotion free 10 bucks for both. He had his paycheck direct deposit and someone did atm withdrawals in Canada he's never been to Canada. He's out a whole paycheck and they refunded $5 for one fee when there were several $5 international fees. They haven't done anything to find out who and how they didn't have his card but it says they used his card it's been in his pocket the whole time. Over a thousand is felony charges they better get to finding out who has access to that information and refund his money

The card is just okay
The card is just okay. I was excited about the large cash back percentage and interest. I find it very frustrating to enable the spending category every time you want to take advantage of the 2% discount. It's so time-consuming to have to go in the app every time to get $1. Or if my wife uses the card we have to communicate. It also doesn't integrate with either our personal budgeting software or our business software. That means I have to input each transaction. Again a lot of work for $1/day savings.

Oxygen is a HUGE SCAM
I received a card in the mail with my name from Oxgen. Looked suspicious. I call the CS and she said I may be a victim of identity theft. I asked for her to tell me what info they have and how it was submitted. She said she can't provide me that info. I cursed her out and told her that's BS. It is my right to get what you have on file under consumer act. Ppl don't fall for this s@#$. I asked her to send me proof of the account closed and the b@#$% sends me a generalized letter. I then proceed to tell her why isn't the account on there and she says that's all she can give me. Again BS.

I'm sorry to hear about so many bad experiences with this bank. I knew something was fishy when I received emails from them about an account I never setup. They also said that I received a card. Closed account for no reason
Would give 0 stars if I could. Closed my account out of no where due to violating their deposit terms and conditions…. I’ve only used the card a handful of times… but all my deposits were made with cash at CVS. As a server, that’s the only way I was ever able to deposit into the account. I use SoFi for all my banking needs, so oxygen closing my account isn’t a big loss or anything. However, I find it extremely unethical to close an account with no warning or information.

I received 2 hotel charges on a holiday…
I received 2 hotel charges on a holiday due to the hotel having problems with their system. I disputed one of the charges. It has been more than 40+ days and my dispute has still not been resolved despite the hotel providing me with proof they accepted the claim that I was charged 2 times and should be refunded. Oxygen Bank refuses to finalize my claim and continue to send a blanket email response that they are still investigating. It doesn’t take a bank 49+ days to investigate.

Most cash back offers are useless, only once per week and has cap.😩 For a debit card with annual fee maximum $199, the cash back and benefits are not worth for it, you may not be able to cover the annual fee from what you earned from the cash back.👎

Don’t waste your energy on them ! Customer service is NO help and the Dispute team does not update !
On 06/04/2022 I made a purchase on a herbal site for 35.74. I contacted your dispute team by email a week after that because I never received my order(paid for priority shipping) . I never heard back from the dispute team after they sent an email confirming they had received my email. Another week went by and the herbal site issued a refund on their end . It’s been another week had went by, still haven't received it. I filed a dispute on 06/10/2022 for a transaction of $35.74, because I never received my order. On the 14th the merchant emailed me proving they have canceled my order and issued a refund. It's been over 3-5 business days and I still haven't received my refund nor and updates ! I want to know where my money is !

I have faced financial difficulty…
I have faced financial difficulty recently and, myself, along with my three children, are set to be evicted from our home. To help, my family managed to raise the money needed to deposit into the court to prevent our homelessness. However, somehow the money was (accidentally) sent to an account I have with oxygen bank. After that, my phone was stolen by a previous roommate of mine and my account was drained via Cash App transfers. After realizing what happened, I contacted Oxygen to dispute the transactions and the police to file a report, with my (now ex) roommate as the suspect. I am certain it was her, as some of the money transfers were to a supplier for her business that I have encountered when partnering with her for a short period. I understand there is a process for disputes and credit. However, my family simply does not have 10 business days to wait. I just fear, after reading multiple reviews on different websites, that my money is gone forever and losing our home is inevitable. I am writing in hopes of helping me to have this matter expedited, as it is clear that this bank really does not care about it’s members. When you call, the representatives are unprofessional and their attention lies with whatever is causing all of the background noise, even the supervisors. I am aware that there are others who have filed claims and disputes but there should be an option to expedite whenever there is a serious matter as this. My family’s life is literally on the line and I feel helpless. EDIT: I was notified that a warrant has been issued for my ex roommate for stealing my phone and fraudulent use of my debit card. However, apparently that is not enough for Oxygen.

They give you the runaround to cancel…
Worst customer service ever!!! They give you the runaround to cancel an account even. They claim that there is no account associated with your email but they never asked for an email. They tell you to call the customer service number but all it does is ask to confirm your card number then hangs up. Terrible, terrible, terrible. These guys are scam artists at best.

Worst bank and customer service all I cn say is hire a lawyer I did with the advice from the IRS take them to court they made funds available when my sister's return went to my account then froze it the next day said I needed a letter of intent from the IRS IRS said they r not the one who froze the account and that the bank deposited the funds and made the cash available so there was nothing they cld do now my sister is on the streets with her 2 sons and I cnt give her her money nor can I use mine this is the worst bank and dnt get me started on customer service

Beautiful app, but garbage Company
With my first bad review ever, it brings me great sadness to write it about my favorite banking app I've ever used. I remember signing up a few years back and looking at the app and falling in love, I really love the digital side of things and Oxygen was catering to everything I loved. They offered incredible features like unlimited digital and merchant cards, 2-6% cash back at some of the most popular places to eat and shop, and overall so many unique and amazing features that I simply fell in love with. I've used this app for over 3 years now and used their banking app exactly how they advertise... I have over 20 merchant cards, I use the one time cards on a lot of the online shops, and I utilize the cash back every chance I can get. But these perks Oxygen offers are all a coverup for the massive issue of this banking app, they DON'T control your money. The Bancorp Bank has control of your money. Why is this an issue? Because Oxygen is telling their customers they get "unlimited deposits to their account, unlimited digital cards, and 5-6% cash back, and so many other perks" but when it all comes down to it your account is going to get closed just like mine just did. I never thought I would be sad to not be using a banking app anymore, but I fell in love with how it worked and I thought this was the future of banking, my friends told me it was too good to be true and there's no way any bank can keep this up, and after even spending $199.99 to upgrade to their fire card (which they make you spend a ton of money on their card, and deposit over $6,000 per month), well, when you actually do these things... they PUNISH you for it. Soo the perks they offer are simply a cover-up. I trusted my bank with about 70% of my deposits, I mean they were amazing and I never once questioned they would ever do anything like they do today where they closed my account permanently, offered no explanation, and gave me no details of when I would receive the funds that were in my account. My app no longer works, and they are digital so obviously I can't go into the bank to get the rest of my funds. It brings me great sadness to say this bank is simply a fraud, I saw reviews and said "Oh they probably just had bad luck this bank is incredible" and sure enough, here I am, writing that same review, and I'm someone who deposited over $6,000 a month consistently, used the bank EXACTLY how they advertise it and encourage you to use it, but ultimately Oxygen has NO say, the final decision comes down to The Bancorp Bank. I thought this one was too good to be true, but after be able to use it for a few years I started to trust them with my deposits more and my payroll payments, I mean they literally offer these high end "Fire" perks that you have to spend an insane amount of money for, but in reality you will be punished and your account closed just like mine. Please save your heartache, as beautiful and amazing as this app is, it's truly a scam... you will get burned, it's just a matter of time. With great sadness, A former Oxygen banker

I've been using this bank for 3 years…
I've been using this bank for 3 years but full time for the last year,now keep in mind I get my paycheck deposited weekly and never had no problems, everything's been fine until today. someone used my debit card without my permission without my knowledge. I contacted the bank and explained all this, and I was informed today that I will not be refunded my money from them even though I have never Gave anyone my debit card number or permission to use my card and supposedly they did an investigation and decided there was no error.I had no clue how you come to that decision when I tell you no one has had my debit card, no one has had permission to use it and these are not my bills. So now they think I should just say o well to $1,200.00 and that's not gonna happen so I'm unsure what my next step will be.

I have contacted customer service multiple times about transferring my money from my savings account to my checking account they can’t help me they keep telling me I have to wait 24 to 48 hours for a response I’ve waited multiple days I have heard nothing I have now became late on my bills as I can’t access my savings account to be able to transfer my funds I have been very irritated dealing with this bank and the customer service that comes along with it they are very unprofessional and untrained as soon as I get my funds available I am switching and never using them again.

This oxygen bank sucks, and I have been using my oxygen card for expenses which they attempted to close my account twice for unusual activity, I am in their highest-level program (fire element) but apparently if you don't use this card as your main bank which does not allow cash deposits you will get shut down.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I’m always having problems with this bank ever since I switched. There are times I won’t have access to all my money when I need and that’s the biggest thing I hate about it. I had my refund transferred to my oxygen bank account and had to make a $10,000 purchase for a car but was unable to urchase something for more than $5000. I didn’t even have anyway to pull it all out either. I didn’t really go over the limits carefully. And they trick you to thinking it is a good bank. They rarely have funds available even tho I had over 20,000 in my account. Ridiculous. And I hate the experience I had with them, the worst, seriously! Never go to this bank, even netspend is better because then you can go pull out money in person. But you can’t do that with oxygen. 20 thumbs down 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾 They even temporarily suspended my account because they said it was being used for business purpose and I inconveniently couldn’t make a payment that I really needed to take care of the day they suspended it as if they owned my Money 🙄 sooooooo very irrritating and waste of my time and breathe. Never deal with this company.
I used this scamming companies card for a purchase in November of 2021 and the website I ordered from was in China and they charged me 709 dollars for the purchase and they sent nothing so I put in a dispute and waited over a month with no email from them and decided to call them with no help at all about the progress of my dispute and they would not give me any help at all to figure out why I have not received a response. This company is the worst to deal with and the customer service people are rude and uncaring. Beware of dealing with this company. Thieves.

Someone hacked my bank account 1/22/2022 I reached out to Oxygen Bank filed a dispute, sent a written request of no knowledge of these transactions that happened in MX gas station. I had and still have my bank card in my possession and I live in VA did not travel or know of anyone is MX. So I receive a response saying my dispute is closed and they found no error. I called and I cannot speak to anyone that handled my dispute and I did not receive any supporting information regarding their investigation. I trusted this banking entity with my money and I am not being protected. I will contacting the BBB against them and I am still researching to see who else I can report this too because I will not let them keep my hard working money.

This was the biggest mistake dealing with bootleg banks and when you call Bankcorp they dont want to deal with them, they freeze my account because i transfer MY HARD EARNED MONEY TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT OF MINES its like they want to control how i spend my money NOT HAPPENING. On September 15 my renters assistance was deposited about $9,250 the mine I received the deposit I get a notification on my phone telling me of the deposit shortly after that like within 5 mins I receive an E-mail telling me my account has been closed for undisclosed reasons my mobile app will be disable and the funds are on hold pending investigation.ive not been able to get any of the money my daughter's were homeless on christmas.ive talked to the justice department and the FDIC and I've hired a lawyer.ill post the outcome

I used oxygen to do my Christmas shopping, and a few other transactions. One of the stores I used the card with to shop online didn’t have a few of the items I had ordered for online pick up and had refunded my card. Same as the person below me, when I called customer service to find out where my refunds were the rep also told me I had already spent the money, but also couldn’t tell me where or when it was spent. I am so glad I not only recorded the call, I also took screenshots of everything. The customer service rep over the phone confirmed the original charge was $146 but this morning when I go and look at charge in question changed from the original purchase price of $146 to $35 and I was told i had already spent the money! First of all the $35 is what I was owed as a refund as the price of my transaction had changed from $146 to $121. What happened to my money oxygen? Because I have been waiting almost two weeks for the refund and purposely kept my account balance at $0 so this time your representatives couldn’t say I spent the money this time but they still told me I did. Don’t bank with these people they will steal your money!

Too many issues
I've had a multitude of issues with this mobile bank. Their mobile deposit is highway robbery at the very least. The 3rd party business they use for mobile deposit charges a ridiculous fee, $40 on an $800 check?? It's absurd. The dates for the transactions in my mobile app skip forwards and backwards, sometimes multiple days, so it's hard to find a specific transaction. Having to uninstall and reinstall the app to be able to make a transfer from my savings account to my checking account. Completely bizarre in my opinion. This last one is the final straw and I will be closing my account at the beginning of the New Year. I requested a refund from a specific company that I won't name because this is not their problem. This charge was still processing in my checking account and the unnamed company reverse the charge. From what I can see in my mobile app, the debit was never returned to my account. I contacted Oxygen Customer Service and they told me the money had been returned to my account on December 25, just yesterday..... Odd considering banks don't process transactions on federal holidays, right? The customer service rep tried telling me that the money was already spent but couldn't tell me where it had been spent. Don't believe the hype and heed mine and everybody else's warning: AVOID THIS BANK!

Absolutely disgusted with customer service and the lack of concern about the situation. They screw up and I have to wait 24-48 hours for them to even look into the problem, check has been marked void per their system and requirements. I guess I'll just close the account and go elsewhere

Someone hacked into my account in August 2021 and stole all my money across seas, My dispute was granted to me but here it is November 2021 and still can't get my money they stole. They sent the money to the account they closed and card they cut off. Why would they do that knowing they closed everything, Now I have been waiting on a check to be sent to me. Everyday I call (from the time they said my check would arrive and it never did) for an update and Everyday my money still sitting in my account. I'm on hold now waiting for a supervisor and whenever I ask to speak to a supervisor they never available after they lied to me about my check I can't speak to a supervisor at all now. They hang up on me while I'm on hold and never give me a call back. I'm looking into sueing them now. seems that they don't want to send me my money. After I get off the phone with them now I'll be calling my lawyer.

Don't waste your time. I attempted to open a business account with them to create an LLC. They did not mention anywhere that the only way to open a Business account is to apply for a personal account first. As a result, I was denied for both accounts. That scary thing, somewhere in their system I have some type of account because I'm able to change my password AND approve devices at log in. And after spending an hour on the phone with customer service, no one can tell me exactly how or why. Customer service is disrespectful and rude. They act as though being right is a game instead of doing their job which is to "serve the customer". I mean. It's literally in the title.

The remaining balance on my card I am still waiting to receive and it's been over 2 months since my account was closed. I recently added $30 from my chase account on a Friday morning and the next Friday it still is not in account. Its cash, bank to bank its not a check waiting to clear or a huge sum of money. Oxygen has contempt for their customers
I am so angry at Oxygen right now! Last week I called to ask about a particular charge. The customer service rep spoke terrible English and instead of asking questions, immediately cancelled my card. Then couldn’t understand why I was frustrated. Maybe it’s because I said “don’t do that” quite loudly and he ignored me. Then I am told my new card was going to be sent out. Two weeks later I still don’t have a card, can only use a virtual card which is useless to me and they sent my card to my old address across the country! Even though I updated everything several months ago. I called and they insisted they didn’t make a mistake. Today check my mail delivery and lo and behold still no card! I have been with them for two years and this is my thanks? Update, I have been trying to get this resolved for three weeks. They sent the card to the wrong address tried to put it on me and refused to overnight a new card. These people are predators and I will be changing banks.

Well for starters if I was able to give half a star I would. I see all the reviews bout how awesome of a bank oxygen is,well first off oxygen is not even a bank there a financial technology company the actual bank is bankcorp bank and second of all they are the worst that I've dealt with I opened a account with them and had a ppp loan deposited in my account but it was accidentally placed on my personal account instead of my buisness so oxygen froze my account (and I might add that it has been frozen for a lil over 5 months) and at the beginning their telling me I need to get a LOI from Capitol One and upon contacting Capitol One several times they tell me that they don't even deal with ppp loans. So I tell oxygen what I was told them all the sudden it's I need to contact fountainhead for the LOI so I contacted them left 5 diffrent messages and sent 4-5 emails and no response so oxygen tells me there a nothing they can do till I get a LOI meaning they can my funds for another 6 months of I don't get one. The people there are a joke because it's playing as day they do not know what their doing or talking about because everything is done off a card,I'm being told the exact same thing even by speaking to diffrent people and that's everytime I call By doing what their doing oxygen has caused me to lose my marriage,my home,and my buisness just by keeping my funds tied up. I personally feel what their doing is straight embezzlement and I will take every action needed for them to answer to what there doing OXYGEN....YOU REALLY NEED TO STOP SELLING THESE PEOPLE A DREAM WITH ALL THE LIES YOU TELL THEM,YOU'RE NOT EVEM A BANK SO STOP TRYING TO ACT AS ONE

I was excited about this bank at first…
I was excited about this bank at first and I was going to use it for personal and business banking. Well that was until I was declined for a business account. Then the first little aggrevating experience occurred. I call CS, I don't remember why, and they are verifying my account and I can't get past the email. Literally this goes on for 15-20 minutes. Finally she gives me a hint, and it's my business email, which I certainly did not open the account with, I applied for the business account with it, and they changed my other one. OK, I reserve a hotel and they charge my card, I get there, there's no availability. Could not any clearer that I did not receive service for my money. I dispute the charge the next day. It has now been over 60 days, they're still "investigating". What's to investigate, they are literally admitting fault on the BBB, yet here we are over 2 months later. There's no calling the bank BTW. You get Philippines and they tell you there's nothing they can do, which is ironically what they say no matter what business they are "representing" so they transfer me to the "dispute" dept. Which ironically sounds just like the dept I was just transferred from with all the screaming in the background, very unprofessional aire about it. So I start to question this, "person" who said the name was Max or Ray, or Val. I quickly realize that they know nothing and are reading a script. So I challenge the logic of that being the "dispute" dept. I say, I typed in the dispute, I enter and send an additional email with all the details, and then I email this supposable dept and keep getting that they're still "investigating" . So what exactly are you investigating? What about the provisional credit? How come I can't talk to America where my money actually is? Surely my money isn't in the Philippines? He /she /it idk says they can't answer any of those questions, and have no authority to give provisional credit. Ok, who does? The "investigation team". I'm literally laughing out loud as I'm emptying my account. They also can't transfer me to the investigation team, or America. So, yeah.... I call the 3 people I referred there and tell them to close account immediately. Oh, I'm still not done. I don't feel good about that card anymore so I order another, but notice that even though I changed my address it was still the old address. Well this is new, a place to scan your ID and such. OK, after 30 minutes of not getting the scanner to work I give up, the card is floating who knows where. I email them to close my account. I don't even care about the $84 anymore, they're only going to send it to the wrong address. What a joke. How am I not a millionaire?

Awful company
I was told by 2 different people that I qualified for the $50 but yet I never received it. Now they are telling me that the other people were wrong (one was even in an email) and they told me that "it was sent to me on accident" the other was over the phone. I do NOT RECOMMEND OXYGEN BANKING they have no clue how to even run a business I sure don't want them handling my money.

I’m not sure what all the hype is about, with this Oxygen Visa card! I have had this card/account for about 6 months. I have NEVER used it! I have never used it, because after receiving my card, I contacted support with a couple questions. I have yet to receive any response from Oxygen Support! Even though I have contacted them 3 times with the same questions/issues, over these past 6 months. Based on MY personal experience, I would say Oxygen is trash, and everyone should avoid this company.

I had an account with direct deposit for almost 3 years.i got my covid rental assistance deposited into the account it was a little over $9,000.i was happy I was gonna pay my past rent and get back on my feet and 8 hours after it was deposited I got this email Your Oxygen account was flagged by security monitoring system for patterns that do not align with the Deposit Agreement you signed at account opening. At this time, a business risk decision was made to permanently close your account. Your account will not be accessible, and your mobile application will be disabled. Any recent deposit(s) will be returned to the sender. Please respond to this message if you have any questions. If you have any issues responding by email, please contact our Customer Service Team via phone @866.287.7021 (10 am – 10 pm Daily EST). Do not use this bank. My account was flagged for using it as a business account, because I deposited a check from a business. Yes, you read that correctly. To close the account, they have to send a paper check and it takes 21 days to receive the funds. Please don’t use this bank. Extremely frustrating.

I open an account with oxygen and added this account to receive the direct deposit of my job. Just like many banks I know ppl set their account to have their direct deposit from their job. They blocked my account, I called them to close my account because many times I tried to use my card online it always declined while I have money on my account. They said I can’t close my account because I was using my account for business and my account was not supposed to be for business. I was not using my account for business! I only had set it to be the account where I have a direct deposit from my job. Another thing is, you can’t transfer money from your account and you can’t cash. I had to make a check in my husband’s name, wait until it arrived it by mail, so I could have my money. They are not unblocking my account so I can use my money, they also are not allowing me to close the account. My money is with them and I can’t have it.

After the last update the app is saying my device is not authorize to get in to my account and then tells me to log out I have called customers service and email them for the last 4 5days in a row they tell me that theyll sented a email I never got I just want to get in to my bank to close my account with them

Do not use oxygen banking!! I’ve been using them for about 2 months and have had 3 different times when I had an Order cancelled and they never refunded me the money. I called them and they said they refunded it and would send me statements. When I got the statement there was nothing on it about that charge at all. I’m pretty sure they are stealing customers money so I’ve stopped using them altogether. Their customer service is also horrible and hard to get ahold of, wonder why! I keep a close eye on my money I know what goes in and what goes out and they never refunded those amounts so if you decide to bank with them be careful and watch your money carefully! Hope this review prevents others from losing their money! Good luck!

This is the worst bank ever. Yes hey sent me a card that’s already been used so now they making me wait to access my money in my back account and I have bills that are due....they custom service barely speak English so they don’t know anything what you saying...it’s sad they need to be shut down because they scamming people out that money...every time I ask for a supervisor , they just put me in home and don’t even look so they come back in the phone saying it’s not one available...so you telling me at the job every day all day it’s never a supervisor on duty.

"Free" Checking isn't free anymore
I opened up a personal account with them in late 2018. I used this account only for direct deposit, and only to pay my rent. For almost 3 years, it was great. I received the rent portion of my paycheck 2-3 days early, so I was never late. Then a few months ago, they "revamped" their personal account program so now they have "levels" that you must qualify for (in deposits, debit card usage, etc), and these levels cost money. The perks of these levels are more or less the same perks that Oxygen has always touted but parsed out into most to least desirable. The "free" level has no perks, but no fees either. The more desirable features, the higher your annual fee will be to use them. Without the perks, Bancorp is the worst bank you could use so I'm not sure what they're getting at. While the change doesn't significantly affect me, I'll be taking my money elsewhere purely on priciple.

Worst F**king Bank Ever
I would give them zero stars if I could. This is the worst bank I ever had an account with. They froze my account for no good reason, due to their very flawed banking system and now I'm struggling to pay my bills. It’s been weeks now and still no f**king progress. This really sucks especially during this pandemic. If your thinking of opening an account with them DON'T DO IT, these people are not worth it, they don't care about their customers. I'm going to start using crypto now screw the banks.
