What Does it Cover 

Allstate pet insurance plans cover accidents and illnesses, including any surgeries, hospitalizations, or nursing care required. They also cover medications and alternative therapies. Genetic conditions such as hip dysplasia are covered, but only if your pet was not showing signs of the condition at the time you purchased your policy.

Preventative treatment, including vaccinations, annual check-ups, and dental cleanings, are not covered unless you purchase an optional wellness plan.

Insurance Plans & Pricing 

The cost of your insurance plan will vary based on your pet’s breed, age, gender, and medical history. We received a quote for a 3-year old labrador retriever in Texas in April 2021. A plan with a $10,000 coverage limit, $500 deductible, and 80% reimbursement rate cost $44.45 per month. The optional wellness plan cost an additional $18.75 per month for up to $250 per year in coverage. Quotes are subject to change and will vary by location.

What is Not Covered

Allstate policies do not cover vet fees related to pregnancy or breeding, orthodontic procedures, or treatments for behavioral problems. They also do not cover vitamins, supplements, or prescription food. Pre-existing conditions are excluded from coverage, including genetic conditions for which your pet was showing symptoms at the time of enrollment.

Waiting Periods

Your policy includes a waiting period of 2 days for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, and 6 months for orthopedic conditions.

Coverage Limits

You can choose an annual coverage limit of $5,000, $8,000, $10,000, $15,000, or $30,000.

Reimbursement and deductibles:

Allstate enables you to choose an annual deductible of $200, $300, $500, $750, or $1,000. You can also choose a reimbursement rate of 70%, 80%, or 90%.

Claims and Service

Since Allstate pet insurance policies are offered through Embrace Pet Insurance, you must go through Embrace to submit a claim. Embrace requires an itemized invoice from your vet, and you can submit a claim online or using the Embrace mobile app. Claims are typically processed in 10-15 days and you can receive your reimbursement by physical check or direct deposit.

We found that submitting a claim was easy thanks to the step-by-step guidance throughout the process. In addition, you can monitor the status of your claim online or through the Embrace mobile app.

If you need help, Embrace offers customer support 6 days a week by phone or email. The service team is available from 9AM to 8PM (ET) Monday to Friday and 10AM to 2PM Saturday.

    Forced me to spend thousands, then refused to payback

    This is the worst insurance company I've ever dealt with. My car was hit April 18. They didn't respond to the auto repair center to BEGIN repairs until May 19. And then didn't send me the reimbursement check for my rental until June 21. That is entirely too long to take for any of those steps, and there was no communication, no explanation as to why it was taking so long. I would call, leave messages, and get nothing back. Because they were so tardy, I had to keep extending my rental contract out week after week until the bill totaled nearly $4000 (which I had to pay out of pocket because their company doesn't contract with rental agencies, instead the reimburse you which is foolish because not everyone has the necessary funds for costs like that up front) but then learned they were only going to pay a little over $1800, less than half of the reimbursement! I tried to fight them but they kept saying no, they were not responsible. Their client hit me and they as an insurance company made a promise to cover the damages caused by their client. That's what an insurance company is supposed to do. I never would have had to spend that much if they hadn't dragged their feet. It's almost negligence at this point. To top it off, they sent the letter with the reimbursement check, but not the check itself. I had to call their corporate office to get it direct deposited to me. 1.Incompetence 2. Slow 3. Poor communication 4. No contracts for verification, just word of mouth 5.Forced reimbursement policy 6. Lack of full payment And it wasn't even the fault of only one individual. The main agent I worked with took an extended amount of time off and forwarded all his calls to a different agent, who was also gone and forwarded all her calls to a different agent, whose voicemail said he was not taking anymore calls. And the manager I spoke with was no help in resolving this. And then the person who forgot to put the check in the envelope. It's the whole company. The only reason I give them 2 stars instead of 0 is because my car actually got fixed. But this was a headache I would not wish on anyone.

    To my Face Book Family here in the USA 🇺🇸 I would like to make a Public Service Announcement 📣 With a plethora of Auto / Home Insurance companies at our disposal, it is very important to read the fine print when you sign onto an Insurance Company . All State Insurance was not only over charging Loyal Customers like myself for over two decades , 3 times more what other Insurance Companies were charging it’s customers, their Catastrophe Team decided to deny a legitimate claim made by me . The funny thing is this , all the Catastrophe Team members who worked on my claim got a vacation because they denied my claim . I was sadly made aware by someone in their own office that the All State Insurance Company policy for it’s Team Members is— Deny Claims and the more client claims the employees deny the more Bonuses and Perks the employees receive !!     Some Uber driver crashed into me and…

    Some Uber driver crashed into me and despite the camera footage, despite the witness statements, they still held ME liable for the incident. The Uber driver lied and said he had a child passenger in the car who was severely injured and they charged me an obscene fortune. The only reason they backed off was because I found an attorney who called them and threatened to sue. How can someone do that to their customers? Its so immoral throwing your client into the flames like that.

    POOR CLAIM HANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    My claim was submitted on 7/2/2021 and all photos and estimates were attempted to be uploaded. The system was not recognizing the claim# until 7/5/2021. All documents were available for claim departments review but kept gett form letters asking for the document that was in their files. Spoke with a representative at the 800 number provided, she confirmed that everything needed had been in the file since 7/5/2021. Called back the following day since nothing had changed and ask to speak with a manager and was transferred to voice mail that was on 7/13/2021 and as of 7/17/2021, no one has returned the call from the manager. I am not calling back and will let the clock continue on and file an additional claim against Allstate under the Texas Insurance Code for prompt payment of a claim. Allstate's claims are handled very poorly. This is from a seasoned claims professional with more than 45 years of experience. Allstate is a curl joke of an insurance company.

    Poor Customer Service Experience

    Paid in full my 2 policies (auto and home) using the online system via VISA. Their system ends up making 5 charges instead of 2 (1 policy charged 3 times and the other charged 2 times). Calling into customer service says the wait time is 10 minutes and I've now been on hold over 2 hours. Getting this dealt with then moving to a new provider.

    Do not even consider for a business policy!

    I signed up for a business policy with Allstate. I paid for a month and was canceled a week later. Once that cancel mail came through, I signed with another company that is familiar with my type of business and I even got a better rate. Mind you, I've been in business for decades and have never had a loss or claim on any policies I've had for business, home, auto. I should have done my homework on Allstate before getting a policy. They are rated the worst insurance company in the USA, have many class action suits against them; and deservedly so! Google it, over 6 million references to that!

    I am with AllState Insurance but not for long 🥲

    I am with AllState Insurance for my family Auto & Home insurance. for my insurance needs with no issues for the past several years ...     Allstate, left me in a state

    My car was hit while I was in emergency at St. Joseph hospital on 06/16/2021. I called Allstate customer serve...WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! The rep. could not comprehend English, rude, standoffish and self-absorbed. Her listening skills were below zero and over talked me every chance she could get. I had to asked for the call to be escalated more than 6 times. She told me what her desire was in reference to the phone call....when does personal desire come into play with my paid insurance. The phone call lasted for more than an our. The rep. was literally, refusing to escalate the call. The reason for the requested escalation was due to the rep. all of a sudden(after 20 minutes of phone conversation and my deciphering) suggesting that I submit claim via the internet). This came after several suggestions of repair properties which I refused or was not sure of (she wanted to pass the buck/tired and wanting to get off the phone)I will not stay with this company. Where do they find these people. I'm paying money for insurance, not someone's personal desire or lack of professionalism.

    Allstate is the worst company

    Allstate is the worst company! Lack of communication and when you do speak to them it’s inconsistent information. My car has been in the shop for 4 weeks and they refuse to handle this to get my car fixed. I’m paying $400 a month for crappy service!!! Had to pay out of pocket for car rentals and they only gave me a rental for a week. Unacceptable.

    Ripoff By Square Trade, An Allstate Company

    On April 15, 2021 I purchased a lazy boy maverick 38 wide leather recliner from Wayfair order number 3560684035. On our approximately May 20, someone sit down in my chair and scratched the side of it, during my purchase from Wayfare I purchased a insurance policy, five year protection, which according to the advertisement covered damage due to accidents. The same day that I noticed it, which was approximately May 21 I notified Square trade, A Allstate company, and filed a claim online, the following Monday may 24 I checked the find out status, I was notified that I would need to speak with a specialist. On Tuesday, May 24 at 9 AM, I called the one 800 number listed, 1 - 877 - warranty, and was notified that the warranty did not cover search because it was cosmetic. The point here it was damage caused by an accident not cosmetic, however they told me that was my problem. So I highly advise everyone to be very careful when buying anything from Wayfair, especially in regards to a Square trade insurance policies, which is truly sold by Allstate, because there is no way that they are going to stand behind anything that they sell in these policies. After doing research I found that one out of 100 ever file claims, so they are a bad deal not only because of Allstate does not stand behind them, but in most likely hold you will not use them. They are truly a total rip off…….

    Had renters insurance for 6 years

    Had renters insurance for 6 years. Great for 6 years never used it. Once I needed to cancel it is when allstate became a nightmare. No easy way to cancel and I emailed my agent several times and eventually had to call. When they did cancel it they tried to charge me for the full premium all at once. Joke of a company with terrible customer service. I do not recommend.

    I bought a chair from Staples and purchased the Square Trade protection. I was told by both Staples and Square Trade that wear from everyday use and even damage caused by animals was covered. I submitted a claim because the seat is tearing and uncomfortable to sit on and my claim was immediately denied with no explanation and no consideration. I will never purchase from Square Trade, Staples, Allstate, or any company associated with either one of them again!

    Drivewise App Sucks

    Screen freezes Must accept contract to use app and see things like your insurance card. The app must always be on draining your battery. Fitness and Health Monitor must be "always on". Will not accept any other setting. Battery dead in 20 minutes. Runs when riding with someone else in their car. No allowance for Hard braking - even avoiding a red light or child or animal. Discount lost. Every movement / location tracked. App subjects you to litigation. Find another company.

    Allstate / You're in BAD HANDS

    Allstate, is truly the WORST insurance company that I have ever had. These people are nothing but crooks!! I had been with Allstate for two years before I filed a claim. Upon filing my claim my agent told me that it would be denied. They did nothing for me. They presented only excuses as to why they could not do anything for me in my time of need! Therefore, I was paying insurance for nothing the two years that I was client. They would not even tow my car or give me a rental car and certainly no compensation!!

    The customer service representative Ms

    The customer service representative Ms. Angelica Yanez, was rude, aggressive, argumentative and went out of her way and her job description to intentionally try to add more tension and complications to the initial problem I called about. She tried lecturing me on her training class experience at Allstate. When I would not give a reaction she got frustrated and began insisting I give her a reason why I felt my car should have aftermarket parts. Regardless of the fact I called bcuz I stated I didn't want aftermarket parts on car due to depreciation concerns. She went on discrediting my reason and began over talking me. When I asked to speak to her supervisor, she said "No! You can't speak to my supervisor and hung up on me. It should be known that you are not in good hands with Allstate. Actually some of the worst customer care in the industry. The adjuster, Eric H. Dale sent me an email stating, "Mr. X, I have investigated your claim and Allstate. We use aftermarket parts and will be putting aftermarket parts on your car"???? No offers for other alternatives, no customer edicatesy, just rude and demanding. Telling you that you have no control over what's being done to your property, despite the fact it's your property. I would not recommend Allstate to anyone if they expect to be well taken care of.

    Allstate refuses to pay for claims until you bring up hiring a lawyer. Then they make you wait 6+ months before they decide to do anything with your claim, completely unresponsive, unwilling to pay, and very poor customer support. They still owe me a refund 8 months later. Do not trust this company. I had to talk to a lawyer and contact several “managers” to get a response. They told me I was covered and then told me I wasn’t and stopped responding and I had to literally send them screenshots of my policy and the coverage and point out how to do their own jobs and mention a lawyer to get them to respond to me and finally cover my vehicle.

    DO NOT GO THROUGH ALLSTATE

    DONT GO THROUGH ALLSTATE. YOU ARE NOT IN GOOD HANDS!! I have been a loyal customer for over 22 years. and they supposedly record their calls. This letter is to notify you of our dissatisfaction with your services. We would have expected better experience from a company of your caliber, unfortunately that was not the case. On February 13, 2021 at approximately 540 pm I called from our cell number and verbally spoke to Virginie who was working out of Toronto reporting the damage that was done to our 2019 Ford Explorer. After talking to her for over 45 minutes she concludes the conversation that an adjuster will call us on February 16, 2021 which did not happen. I then reached out to Allstate to find out the status of our existing claim only to find out no one can find this call. Please have this call log trace and kindly let me know the outcome. As a result of this inadequate service, we lost time and revenue. I have spent the entirety of today talking to seven different individuals that could not get hold of the ADJUSTER for approval. The resulting inconvenience is intolerable. DO NOT GO THROUGH ALLSTATE. YOU ARE NOT IN GOOD HANDS!!

    Allstate drive wise is a SCAM

    Took insurance with them. Grab me with an App (drive wise) that is supposed to give me discount with my driving. Car is in my parking since the last 8 days, and did not moved. App said i drive everyday and even gave me a bad braking. Anything for don't give discount. This is SCAM for catch customer. Do no deal with thèse People.

    Disabled veteran and soon to be senior citizen who never filed a homeowners claim in her life before. Just recently after 7 years with Allstate, I had to file a claim when the roof started leaking. Roof is 14 years old but Allstate has not even spoken to me since I first filed the claim, adjuster never showed or called either and they just notified me on web that I am getting nothing. Worst and most expensive insurance company I have ever dealt with.

    This does not cover you if you forget…

    This does not cover you if you forget your pin number. I am so disappointed I could scream!! I used my brand new phone for 2 months before I forgot my pin number,(or security pin) and have been talking to so called professionals for a year now, just to be told by Allstate to take my phone somewhere else and get it fixed.     Just spoke with Carole on the…

    Just spoke with Carole on the escalations team, she refused to help, refused to admit fault, and refused to get me to their manager Stuart either. I spoke with another manager yesterday who refused to help even though the payment went through on the wrong day and I had canceled auto pay. They have cause me 70 in overdraft and they refuse to help or even try to stop the payment all cause I didn't screen shot the rep I talked to on their site During the call Carole advised its not in their policy to require that, and even refused a 20 dollar credit for me to put towards the 70 dollars in fees they have caused due to this overdraft. Literally the least they could have done and they refuse.to even try. This is the first issue I've ever had with them and I'm so disappointed.....honestly just sad

    They refuse to help after I canceled auto pay, and manager says I have no proof. Which I got successful confirmation that auto pay was canceled and their online rep said they'd make a note I would pay on the 15th. It was all fine. But on 1/12 they auto charged me and over drafted me. Been on hold for 4 hours and I keep getting transferred. Manager.keeps lying. They refuse to.help and wow great insurance but they do not help ever.

    Just give them lots of money

    We switched to Allstate for car insurance since a friend worked there and assured me they were the best. They were a little more expensive but we felt it was worth it. the following year on renewal our policies were hiked by several hundred dollars and we were told "all companies had to increase their rates this way". We couldn't switch companies again within one year as it raises your rates dramatically, so we stayed and payed. We had invested in a dash camera which turned out great as we were hit by a flying construction level on the highway (no-fault comprehensive) and then a month later rear ended stopping for traffic at a yield sign merging on a bridge. We were told explicitly that our insurance would not be affected because these were clear no fault accidents with video evidence. Our renewal policy jumped 20% higher! No way. I called them and they confirmed MY rates went up because OTHER people damaged my car. The agent was in the process of repeating that ignorant excuse when I was cut off and sent to their survey to tell them if I was helped or not. Goodbye Allstate. They get two stars because they did cover my vehicle both times but maybe it's the dashcam that forced them to help me.

    Horrible company. We’ve been Allstate home and vehicle customers for 20 years. They would not cover the roof damaged by strong storm winds. I spoke to the Allstate roof inspector and multiple roofing company inspectors and they all stated that there is visible serious wind damage to the roof. Their adjusters are very unprofessional as well. 2 separate adjusters were assigned to our claim. One disappeared completely. I had to call to find out when I will hear from them. Second adjuster was assigned without any explanation. Both promised to call within a certain time frame. No calls received. I had to call multiple times myself to get an update on the claim status. They found every single reason to deny the coverage of damages. Stated that the roof was too old (the roof is around 20 years old, not 40). Garbage of a company with trashy customer service. After being their customers for 20 years, and paying so much in premiums, they treated us like dirt. PLEASE chose a different company for your needs.

    I don't think I have anything positive to say. I refinanced my home and I ended up going with Allstate because they had the lowest rates at the moment. After receiving multiple phone calls regarding policy changes I didn't approve, I ended up switching to Geico. I have cancelled my policy almost a year ago, of which was its own struggle. I am now currently on the phone with allstate again, 1 hour and 8 min in and still on hold, because I'm receiving bills saying my policy has changed and that I'm going to be charged X amount of dollars because I haven't paid them. I DONT EVEN HAVE A POLICY WITH THEM! My advice is to buy a boat, insure it with someone else and sail as far away from allstate as possible.

    Terrible claims service from Allstate!

    In 2014, a speeding, uninsured driver ran a stop sign on a mall service road totaling our car and sending me and my wife to the hospital, he was charged, we were not! Allstate insurance representatives called weekly to see how we were doing ( and looking to get any information that they could against us regarding the collision) until we hired an attorney, my wife’s bill’s were in excess of $15,000 and mine exceeded $100,000, they offered her a ridiculous settlement and me nothing! I fought with them for months on the cars value, and won, they tried everything in the book to low ball me on cars value to no avail. In late 2018 we finally got our day in court, we filed individually and had two court days, and we both won our cases! Allstate not only had to pay our settlements, but the had to pay the court fees and the attorney they hired to defend/represent the uninsured driver that caused the accident which I’m sure exceeded the uninsured motorist liability limits of the policy! This is NOT an isolated case, they do this all the time and they’re damn good at it ( so they think!) to get out of paying a legitimate claim! STAY FAR AWAY FROM ALLSTATE INSURANCE OF ANY KIND AS WE HAVE SINCE CANCELED ALL OF OUR ALLSTATE POLICIES!

    I made an automotive damage claim to Allstate where their insured pulled out in front of us, their insured's fault, confirmed by police report. Allstate's claim service (Tulsa) treated me with indignation and demanded I mitigate the amount of my claim. They were of little help, refusing to accept liability for almost four weeks. I even had to send them a copy of the police report as they had not requested. In the end, I paid over $3,900.00 out of my pocket to clear all the bills for an accident wherein their insured was 100% at fault. Claim #0433381746 CJN.

    Allstate Claims Suck

    Car was rear ended by an Allstate customer. Allstate is now refusing to make supplement payments for ALL damages. Car is new. Shop owner spoke with a Supervisor who told him “he’ll look into it” and will call back. Waiting over a week for a Supervisor to respond. Meanwhile car rental payments continue to accumulate.I guess that will be another hassle. Your client ran into my standing vehicle, FIX IT! At 12:13 Field Tech calls to tell me oh well we payed what we feel we should pay and is unable to provide his Supervisor information. I asked for Supervisor number and states I am in a meeting I’ll text you lol a complete joke. There is a scratch on the tail light result of the accident Allstate refuses to repair instead tells the shop to buff it out when there telling you it can’t be buffed out.

    I gave it 2 stars only because the adjuster was responsive after a week have gone by without any information other than "we're waiting for allstate to approve to send BMW X5 to the dealership for diagnostic. The phrase "your in good hands with allstate" not true. I just called allstate since I recieved a call from enterprise rental indicating allstate had let them know my rental will be done by the 7th., but enterprise said the money allocated for the rental will be good until the 8th. The lady was rude, so i was rude and then she hung up on me. Nice! I don't really need to speak to them again unless there is an issue with my car. I will say, i am disappointed with allstate. If you call them, they are not very helpful (I have called few times without getting any real answers). So, if your shopping for insurance company, I would look other places.

    Our family has been with Allstate for decades, with multiple properties insured through them. However, they lost all of our business when we filed one single claim -- for water damage inside a wall -- and they found a way to weasel out of giving us any help toward repairs. I knew I was in trouble when we had the contractor in to look at the problem and he said, "This will definitely be covered by homeowners insurance -- unless you have Allstate, they will fight to avoid paying you anything." He was right. The agent even implied that we were negligent homeowners for not discovering the problem -- which was hidden behind a wall -- sooner. Not only that, but an Allstate rep discussed our policy at length, revealing many details of our contract, with someone WITHOUT KNOWING WHO IT WAS OR HOW THEY WERE RELATED TO US. Suffice it to say, your personal information is NOT safe with Allstate.

    Allstate is not looking out for you! I have a 20 year old roof with leaks in it and have never had a claim of any type but when we needed them most they let us down twice. They sent there adjuster out to our house but after seeing the spots on the ceiling in the bathroom and guest room they only going to give us $230 dollars to replace missing shingles or patch job! That was the first time and we said no! Now we asked them again with a roofing company representative to be out there with them to explain why the whole roof needs to be replaced but to no avail again after they were supposed to call us on a Sunday to let us know about their decision but they called 2 days later to only give us $500 and we said no again! 20 years of all the money you have given them from us and paying our Home and Auto on time you take a dump on us? Loyalty and Honesty is pretty foreign to you but as long as your roof is not leaking what do you care about customers. I will be looking for a Company who actually cares!

    Thanks Allstate for being the absolute worst. Not only is my husband's birthday ruined due to the news of you not paying for a claim YOUR insured did, now i am out of a van, which will in turn ruin my job and make it incredibly difficult to put food on the table for my kid. when calling to file a claim the representative was quick to say they couldn't help. Despite video evidence at the place the incident occurred, allstate has now let us know they are denying the claim and will only look into it if somehow the store will release the footage to us personally. (We all know how that goes), kind of a odd slogan for allstate to ask us if we're in good hands if they don't seem to care if we actually are in good hands.. I worked for allstate and actually loved it, but to see the insured side of things is real eye opening. Glad that I have stuck by USAA as I know I'm covered. Thanks allstate for giving me that reassurance to not using you in the future nor referring others to you as well.

    You're NOT in good hands

    Allstate screwed me! I have been a loyal customer for years. I was supposed to have full coverage on my vehicle. I asked for full coverage on my car!! I had the rental car reimbursement and comprehensive and everything else except collision. Of course i dont find this out until i get into a wreck where i hit the center median on the freeway. Thinking my car is covered just to get a call from the claims adjuster telling me my car is not covered. I ask for an investigation because they supposedly record their calls and if they did they would HEAR ME SAY I WANTED FULL COVERAGE. I NEEDED MY CAR TO BE COVERED NO MATTER WHAT!!. But conveniently for them im told they cant access those recordings. Im a single mom with 2 kids and now no car and no money to get a car. Cause allstate couldnt cover the $3,000-$4,000 max to cover my car. Thats spare change to the company and they couldnt actually not couldnt, wouldnt...they wouldnt help a loyal customer. So take my advice and DONT GO THROUGH ALLSTATE. YOU ARE NOT IN GOOD HANDS!!

    DISAPPOINTMENT IN CLAIM PROCESS

    I'M WRITING TO SHARE MY DISAPPOINTMENT WITH MY HOMEOWNERS CLAIM FOR HAIL DAMAGE. I have read the comments of olegh md, Cody Whaley, Robert, Joe Hall and P.M Thomas. All of their experiences echo my experience with trying to get assistance for my roof replacement. I was bewildered by the suggestion of making patches on my roof, but I now see that is a tool to deny a claim in future like olegh. I had an adjustor come out who commented he had five roof inspections on one Sunday, they were scheduled on three side of Houston, Katy, Livingston and League City the mileage near 300 miles, six hours driving. Do think he was rushed on the inspection? I have been told emailed.. photos from inspector do not indicate hail damage, they only made note of missing shingles and they want patches made. We have had four different people look at roof, they have all agreed there is hail damage. We have taken photos with roofer.. I mailed actual photos to adjuster. She and photos have gone missing. Enter new adjustor he can't reach fellow adjustor or her supervisor and he insists on email pictures. I don't have scanner or equipment to email. NEITHER DOES MY AGENT. She has agreed to take to Kinkos to email but then we are back to quality of transmission...its a loop you can not escape!!! Sad thing is the short sightedness of policy to deny claim. It sends client who pays for new roof on to new insurance company and that company has 10 or more claim free years!!!

The website should have first been tried out by allstate agents prior to approving for website. once the website glitches were worked out THEN a mobile app could have been made. very poor customer service for an insurance company expecting customers to work out computer glitches that allstate agents should have worked on with the design team prior to approving website & mobile app.

    Really bad for home owners

    About quarter of our roof was blown damaged by recent storm Isaias. As it turned out to be our roof was patched up about 10 years ago after another hurricane. It happened with prior owners. At that point they didn't completely removed old tiles but put another layer on the top of 15 years old damaged roof. This time this upper layer got partially blown off leaving us with 24 years old original roof. And AllState refuses to cover roof replacement. They gave us $4k to put another set of patches. All roofers I had coming for inspection strongly advised to replace the whole roof, they say that putting new shingles on a top of the old ones or mixing shingle brands voids shingle warranty, but AllState thinks otherwise. I would give them 0 if I could. They'll screw you right when you vulnerable the most.

    I'm not surprised to see a 2-star average for AllState here on Trust Pilot. It shouldn't take three months to update bank details. Bank account numbers shouldn't be emailed. $900,000 shouldn't be missing from a life policy. Smashed, wiggly door handles should be replaced, not painted over. Significantly hail-damaged roofs should be replaced (like the house next door), not "repaired". I have never once felt like I am "in good hands" with AllState. Don't make the same mistake I did by buying multiple policies. I don't recommend buying even one, no matter how good it looks at first. Our homeowner's policy premiums have increased massively. It's not so easy to leave when you have a 20-year life policy and damaged roof...

    Allstate: you are not in good hands.

    I am a current customer of Allstate for homeowners insurance. I have been a customer for about 5 years. I made a claim on my roof for storm damage. Although the fact that I’m still in the process of trying to get my roof replaced their denial of my claim is not the only reason for my negative review of Allstate. I am upset because I believe they are trying to deny payment for my roof because they just don’t want to pay out. An equal disappointment with Allstate come from their complete lack of quality customer service. I made a claim after a storm. The storm had blown shingles off of my roof in multiple places. Rain water leaked through the roof and ruined Sheetrock on my living room ceiling and wall. An appointment was set for an inspector to come and meet my roofer to assess the damage. The inspector agreed to call an hour prior to his arrival to allow my roofer time to meet him at my house. The inspector showed without a call and advised that he didn’t know he was supposed to call which was untrue. He convinced me to allow him to go ahead with the inspection. This was my mistake, I should have sent him away and rescheduled but I had no clue he would relay incomplete and incorrect information that would get my claim denied. The Allstate inspector had no business being on my roof assessing the color of my shingles much less damage. Also the inspector relayed the poor information back to an adjuster in another state via photos and face time. I was a little skeptical of this process in the beginning but after I saw the photos that were sent to the adjuster by the inspector I should have pitched a fit. The photos from my first inspector were so bad you could not even tell what he was trying to document. How is the adjuster supposed to assess damage from a picture that is such a poor quality it cannot be interpreted. The inspector also did not perform a brittleness test on the shingles in which they would have failed. He also did not complete the measurements for repainting. When the adjuster called me to explain the process and the replacement and repair cost for my damage he advised me that his estimate was not even enough to cover my deductible. So pretty much I’m on my own. I told him I disagreed with his assessment. The Allstate adjuster was augmentative and rude when I told him I would not except his assessment and would be requesting a reinspection. At this point I began contacting Allstate, everyone from my agent to finally a claims manager. I requested a different adjuster for the reinspection. At first I was told that Allstate will not allow me to have a different adjuster from the original on assigned. I plead my case that since I pay them, I’m their customer, they stood their ground for a while. Finally I took it high enough up the chain and they assigned a new adjuster. So again I set an inspection time and was told the inspector would call an hour prior to arrival to allow my roofer to meet him at my house. This time the inspector showed up two hours before the two hour window I was given without contacting me prior. So again my roofer was not present. This time I sent him away. I called Allstate and asked why they could not handle this one simple request of calling prior to arrival of the inspector. Allstate just continued to pass the buck, they said they contract the inspectors and they actually do not work for Allstate so they are not responsible. Well that’s not how I see it but again their idea of customer service is to not provide any good customer service. So it goes on. I finally got a reinspection. This time Allstate assessment of a partial roof replacement was given due to shingles failing the brittleness test. I told Allstate it failed the brittle test after the first inspection. Funny how I could actually be right. I refused to accept the reinspection offer and have hired a private adjuster. The adjuster I hired said unfortunately Allstate is known for following the 3 D’s, Deny, Delay, and Don’t pay.

With that being said I have to say how disappointed I am to read through your lengthy email and various complaints you made, many of which have zero merit. Tiffany is an incredible agent and has gone above and beyond for you and all of our clients. For you specifically she offered (multiple times) to spend time with you on the phone to do a review, and yet you elected to try to conduct all your business over email. Doing so didn’t allow us to do our jobs as your agent properly...although I have seen first hand how much she tried. Now that you’ve decided to take the time to have a conversation with another agent, and not afford the same opportunity to Tiffany, somehow it is her fault. Furthermore, my agency and Allstate have gone above and beyond to assist our customers during these difficult times. We were the first to announce a Shelter In Place payback program and have since given over $600M back to our clients, including you. We offered relaxed payment terms to help our clients, including you. We reached out to all of our clients to check in and offer reviews, including you. While I’m certainly disappointed to see you go, I’m more disappointed that you would try to pin any of this on Allstate, my agency, and especially (employee) Now this is my opinion, my account was forced to be put up on an auto withdrawal and I admit there was a few times when the funds were not in the account over the 12 years I was with them. Instead of a phone call, email, I get a letter saying that my policy was going to be cancelled!!! I got the letter before I received notification from my bank. Now isn't that nice customer service!!!     5/13/20 At Costco I purchased a generator, ask an employee at the exit to watch generator, went to get my car not far away. Before driving to have employees put the generator in the car, I went to the passager side to move the front seat up all the way to make room in the back for the generator. To move the seat up I had to put the key in the ignition to move the seat up. After moving the seat up, I hurriedly closed and locked the doors....So began my horrific ordeal. At 5:25 pm I made my first call to Allstate Roadside Assistance I didn't get a live person until 6:33 pm I told the person what happened she said I needed lockout service...yes no problem someone will be out in 20-60 minutes. at 7:35 pm I called the lady she said let me check, she came back and told me the guy is stuck in traffic and will be there in 5 minutes No one came. I called again and got, Rafael at 8:09 pm, he said they will be there at 7:09 pm I said its 8:10 pm He told me he will call the provider. Waiting on hold with Rafael he came back on and said they lost the paperwork....he said they lied and will report it, said he will put in for a new provider and will call me back, gave him my cell phone number four times before he got it right. He never called me back. At 8:21 pm, I called again, got Lewis told him everything. He said he will send another provider, they will be there in 60 minutes. Lewis called me back at 8:32 pm said the provider canceled. I told Lewis this is unacceptable, Lewis said Do you want to cancel? No I've been waiting since 6:30 pm and now my lights are on and I don't want a dead battery. I called again at 9:09 pm, Lewis said he text me at 852-205-1030 That's wrong I corrected Rafael earlier my number is 352 not 852 it's 352.205.1030, not 852. I had Lewis read my phone number back to me and he read it back correctly. Lewis told me he will call me in 10-20 minutes. Never called me. Finally at 9:50 pm this bad looking unkempt guy shows up in a little beat up car with a little light on top. The way he looked I thought I was going to get mugged. He's yelling at a lady on his phone because she has the wrong phone number. I'm telling the guy my phone number and he's repeating it four or five times till she finally got it right. After ending his call with her he starts to work on getting my door open. After opening my door, he asks me to try and start the car. The car doesn't start, because the battery is dead. He's back on the phone with the same lady. Because my battery is dead he's arguing with her over the phone to get a purchase order. Finally, he jump-started my car and I was thrilled to get on my way. During the beginning of this ordeal I had called my agent David Schwenk and spoke with Debby two or three times in helping me. On Thursday I called my agent and spoke with Debby. I explained my ordeal. David was busy and called me back later. David said he talked with the provider and said he will be calling me. Today is Friday 5/22/20, I spoke with my agent 5/14/20 the incident was Wednesday 5/13/20 I have not heard from the Provider! Roadside Service is provided by Allstate Insurance as part of my Policy. So, where is Allstate in this? They shrugged it off to the Bad Provider. ALLSTATE HAS A RESPONSIBILITY TO IT'S CLIENTS! Bad Business Allstate! The Provider for Allstates Roadside Service should Lose It's contract! ASAP! BAD ROADSIDE SERVICE.....OVER 4.5 HOURS WAITING FOR A LOCKOUT! I'M PAYING FOR BAD NO SERVICE....NO! This has caused me to consider very seriously my renewing my Auto Policy with Allstate! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE....NO RENEWAL! Companies like Allstate and others have gotten fat and overweight off of millions buying their products and services. They could care less about servicing their customers! But let US not forget, we together have the POWER of the POCKETBOOK by NOT Purchasing their products and services! On a Scale of Zero to FIVE Stars...I give it a ZERO MINUS PLUS A DONOT BUY! No one has contacted me!

    Was in an accident in March and it was the other drivers fault (Allstate customer) and they are telling me because I had limited tort on "my" car insurance they can't pay for anything. What the hell does my insurance have to do with this I didn't hit them they totaled my car! And I was hurt now I'm without a car can't go to the drs have to ask for rides and they paid the adjuster 1000dollars and some change and I have to pay all my medical bills myself I think I'm going to get a lawyer

    Worst Company Ever

    Agent initially refused to submit claim. Setup appointment to have someone tarp roof and told us we had to stay home all day, then never showed up and never rescheduled. They setup an inspection, then cancelled and then moved it out weeks from the report of the claim, even though we told them we had active leaks Man I received estimate for told me Allstate adjuster bragged to him he had not paid for a roof to be replaced in nearly a year and to expect them to try and patch all over. Horrible.

    I have never had any claim before, but they have been very helpful, nice customer service experience, they have been helpful during the Covid 19 shelter in place, they sent me a check of 15% of my coverage $47, that’s a kind gesture. I have introduced 3 other people to sign up and they have good experience too, I hope they are active when their is a claim.

    You’re NOT in good hands with Allstate Insurance

    I left my long-term insurance company for Allstate. Big mistake! They’re great at making sure you pay your bill however, when it comes to filing a homeowners claim it is a nightmare. They sent out a third-party adjuster because they don’t have adjusters in Washington state. They didn’t like what the third-party adjuster that they sent out had to say because he indicated my roof had wind damage in multiple areas. It took over a month while my roof was leaking for them to finally agree to cover my roof which had lifted shingles and shingles that have been blown off from wind storms. My contractor noticed that there were more OSB boards that had damage from the wind which would end up rotting away in time. We sent multiple pictures of these additional boards with damage. Allstate wanted him to put a new roof over bad OSB boards. We then sent Allstate another invoice including these boards and they are refusing to pay. This to me is unacceptable! why would you want to put a new roof on bad boards that are going to be rotting, causing mold, and other issues? Stay away from Allstate insurance they’re only interested in finding ways around not to pay any type of claim.

The Conner agency in Henderson were of absolutely no help either.. Smile in your face, tell ya what you want to hear then act surprised when you get screwed.. Connor Agency never even reached out to see how I was doing..100% other guys fault and Im without a car.. Hmmm The other guy had Allstate too??? I had an excellent driving record and always paid on time....I do not recommend Allstate..! Crooks!

    Repugnant Company to deal with!

    We have been at this dance since September of 2019. On 2 separate occasions you denied my claim when 1) you sent me Stevie Wonder who couldn't see a thing and thus denied the claim and then 2) Ray Charles who again couldn't see a thing and again denied the claim. I then set out to share my experience with your flatulent group of misfits on Social Media. All factual, all based on biased observations that you made and have still not admitted to. That at least led to a reopening of the claim and the review, as of today, has been read by 8591 people. I have many other available places to post your claimant’s grievance and edit those that have already been posted. KTLA Los Angeles and WCBS Atlanta have already been contacted. All in keeping with the McKenzie Document which you and others seem to follow as though it were mana from heaven! Therefore I intend to do many things, see if you can follow along. I will continue to blister you with facts as they relate to this claim and will upload supporting documentation to support my thoughts and claims. I have already filed complaints with both the Georgia State Insurance Commissioner the American Policyholders Assoc. making sure that they understand that you have refused to pay based on policy of Pre-loss conditions and Ordinance & Law, when presented with proof from Licensed General Contractor/ Public Adjuster, State and Local Building Department Director here in Cobb County as adopted by the Cobb County Board of Commissioners that adopted State code over Municipal Code which took full force and effect in January 2020. You used the opinion of a Paid Biased Contract Ladder Assist to determine whether coverage should be afforded (adjuster never set foot on the roof) at claim onset, even when presented with evidence of damages by 3 roofing contractors, and PA/ GC and that you are in violation of the GA Fair Settlements Act. The percentage of coverage that you have paid for comes woefully short of your obligations under the terms of our policy so until you make me whole, expect me to be like a nest of bees you stepped on and can’t get away from. We asked for a copy of the last roof inspectors report but were told that it was "Proprietary information" and thus we would not be getting a copy. We were told, when asked however, that the portion that you refuse to pay for, was part of that report, and marked "Was Not Inspected" by your roofing inspector. Think about that for a minute. You refuse to pay for something that wasn’t inspected and adopt the position that there is no damage even though your own inspector never laid eyes on it. Forget the first 2 inspections. They were conducted by folks who couldn't see a 5000 Kelvin bulb if it were turned on right in front of them. Their opinions were biased simply because they were under and remain under contract to Allstate not to me or anyone else who could have approached this with an unbiased eye. I have heard for the last time from my carrier, Allstate Insurance, there are remedies and provisions within the policy to resolve differences that exist on this loss. Really? What are they? Can you point me in a direction that doesn't lead to the court house steps? Seems you have a fiduciary duty to do so if you're remotely serious about making such claims. One of the titans of Business who passed last week, Jack Welch (past CEO of GE) sums it up best; “What's important at the grocery store is just as important in engines or medical systems. If the customer isn't satisfied, if the stuff is getting stale, if the shelf isn't right, or if the offerings aren't right, it's the same thing. You manage it like a small organization. You don't get hung up on zeros".

    We have had Allstate for over 15 years and had to file a claim for the first time this month after my husband slid on ice and hit a sign. It was a nightmare from start to finish. Allstate would not pay the body shop what they charged and we were forced to pay the difference. We caught the adjuster in a lie several times. They treated us like we did something wrong and we ended up paying over double our deductible for things they refused to cover. Don't waste your money on this company. They will not come through for you when you need them but they will gladly accept your money.

A woman was arrested and charged grand theft Allstate refused to pay because I couldn't find my OTHER KEY it was a push to start ok and needless.to say I had just removed my husband off life support 20 years of premiums and they are still 2 years later refusing to pay even though an arrest was made LADIES GO ELSEWHERE PEOPLE IN GENERAL BUT THEY have really taken advantage of a horrible situation and do not feel one bit bad the adjuster actually laughed about it. 20 years of premiums paid to Drew Scott Thanks a lot your in good hands in your pockets is all not there when you need them

    I was in a serious motorcycle accident and several months later I opened a claim to cover my portion of the medical bills. My policy states that it will cover up to $10,000 of my medical bills. Well I sent my bills in to my adjuster and none of what I sent it got paid. Instead the money went to health Care provider and they paid more towards the bills that were already a negotiated amount. So even though my policy states I can use the money to cover gaps or deductibles none of what I owed was payed. So why pay my premiums? Opening the claim was a waste of thing.     Allstate does not fight Mayhem, they are parteners. After having our car broken into and robbed while on vacation 1500 miles from home, we called Allstate. The robbers took everything but one suitcase; all our medicines, glasses, contacts, retainer, cameras. We were 10 days into a month long road trip. We were violated by robbers and then by allstate. Their first question was are you working or unemployed, followed by who lives in your home. Had they taken one minute to look at our records, they would have seen we were retired. The next fun began when we tried to get replacement of items. We were told receipts or pictures would be needed. Lucky for us we had purchased many items before the trip on amazon and could get receipts. Even still they tried to replace $70 perfume with walmart $13. A $1500. Camera set up with a look-a-like from China with no warranty or paperwork. A $200 pair of sunglasses with $9 , a $90 duffle with $10,, the car manual with "you can get that info online", and many more. Being robbed by strangers was horrible but being raped by your insurance company was even worse. They said our premium would go up for a year and gradually come down. It doubled the first year and then went up an additional $100 each of the next two years. We left. They were the absolute worse to work with. Stay away from Allstate and their partener Mayhem. You are not in good hands.

    Been an allstate customer for going on 15 years. Since Jason Goroppolo has taken over our agency in Groton, CT my experience with allstate has been mostly negative. In fact, I finally switched to progressive today. Here's why... I have always paid more for my policy with allstate than other competitors, but I was ok with that. I felt like I was 'in good hands'. However allstate took away discounts unfairly, and screwed me on my premium as a result of mishandled claims. The claims handlers botched the last 3 claims on my policy. One of which wasn't mine, and never should have been accepted. They have literally NO CLUE what they are doing. My rates have gone up over $70 each month. The straw that broke the camels back was my last claim. An accident caused by someone else who's insurance refuses to pay. I've been trying to sell this truck. With a newborn baby I desperately need the money. Now my truck is worth significantly less, and allstate has also refused to make me whole. Even if I can get them to reverse their unfair decision by jumping through hoops, I can never trust them again. When Arthur Spears and Debbie were running this agency they fought hard for me. This agency is no longer doing that. I highly recommend going with another insurance provider.

They denied almost everything I had and tried to use every trick in the book to not give me anywhere near my items worth. Offering me $3k. Then I get in touch with the supervisor and she tells me she doesn’t deal with that so I need to speak back to who I was speaking to. Don’t ever sign up with them.

    Walmart Protection Plans

    DO NOT PURCHASE, The "WalMart Protection Plan" by Square Trade, an Allstate Company, which is worthless. You are not informed that the Protection Plan runs with the manufacturers warranty. In other words, I purchased the warranty with the understanding it would take care of the product, NOT!. The warranty will run out with the warranty by the manufacture on a one year plan. I purchased a Two Year warranty and its not valued (honored) by Allstate because of the Manufactures Warranty is still in effect. I'm getting nowhere with either company because both keep referring me back to the other companies warranty and Both are saying they want cover the product because of the "Warranty." Here's the straight version, "Product Warranty invalided due to Allstate Warranty." vise versa "Allstate Warranty invalided due to Product Warranty." Layman words, It is worthless expense to purchase the WalMart Protection Plans for their products due to Warranty Conflict.

    If you buy insurance to stay out of court, don't buy Allstate insurance!

    I have been fighting Allstate since Oct 2018 because their insured lost control of their vehicle and crashed onto my property, causing more than $87k in damages including major damage to a building. They offered less than $5k as payment in full. Their insured admitted responsibility and stated to Allstate that he did all the damage. Allstate claims that I haven't proven there was any damage and their offer of less than $5k was generous. Allstate has refused to even come and look at the damage, most likely because they'd have to admit there was damage and then they'd have to pay. Allstate told me to file legal action against their insure if I wanted to be reimbursed for all the damages. If you want to buy insurance so you can go to court and compromise your credit, then buy a policy from Allstate. Other wise choose a different insurance company.

They purposely fail to tell you anything, such as filing a "diminished value claim" after a car accident (hit at a stop light) and will "add" an extra digit to the mileage for a "smaller" customer payout (very tricky these folks!) It has been 3 months! they haven't paid but only one of the invoices, they do not answer e mails, they sent me a check with no explanation whatsoever of what the heck they are paying.     Worst Insurance Company in my life's experience

    In 40 years of my adult life, I have found Allstate to be the worst and most expensive insurance company. Recently, I discovered that I was paying 100% higher than average insurance premium for my two cars despite having no accidents and bundling my home and auto insurance with them. In regard to my house insurance, I even had a worse experience. After water pipe burst caused over $5000 damage to my garage, after several calls, Allstate reluctantly sent an estimator who came up with a ridiculous estimate of $180 for damages to the walls and never followed up on ceiling and floor damages. I immediately cancelled my insurance with Allstate and saved a bundle on premiums with other companies.

    HEARTBROKEN AND FRUSTRATED, CLEARLY NOT IN GOOD HANDS

    We have been customers for 12 years. Never a claim...have ALWAYS paid on time. This past Memorial Day, our house was battered with ping pong ball-sized hail. We need a new roof, gutters, 3 shattered windows, siding, etc. I wish I could post pictures to show the magnitude of damage, and that I am not fudging. Allstate was notified, by my husband, that evening after the storm. Our contractor was out to assess the damage the next day. This was Tuesday - Allstate would send out a field adjuster that Friday. He arrived, and our contractor and my father (a retired contractor) both followed this very nice adjuster while he took photos of the damage. He was unable to reach the partner adjuster at that time (I understand they FaceTime the process now??), so he was just sending photos. Apparently someone missed the mark here... We waited until the following Tuesday to hear from the adjuster in-office, who proceeded to give us a quote that lacked the 3 broken windows, severely battered gutters, among other damaged things. But, the quote did include the 30-something SINGLE shingles they are willing to replace on our 3000sq ft house. SINGLE SHINGLES. Of course, we call the adjuster back and explain our issue. He basically tells us there’s nothing else to do. So we request a new adjuster. The case is closed, and we wait a full week to hear from a new adjuster. The new adjuster basically says that the onus is on US to prove the need for another field adjuster visiting our exterior mess of a house. I have 2 small children in my house, a dog, and 3 broken windows I can’t clean up until I prove to someone that they are, in fact, in need of replacing. WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR HANDOUTS. We are only looking for what needs to be replaced, to be replaced. We pay for insurance for this reason, and trusted that we were IN GOOD HANDS - as this company totes in it’s completely false tagline.

I have had them for 20 years. they want me to show receipts for work for the repairs they would not pay for. I was sent a cancel notice on repairs they would not pay for. my worthless agent in Fairview hgts il heard my wife has stage 4 cancer so she keeps sending my wife mail about life insurance.this women needs to be fired and allstate needs to be sued

    Allstate falsely discredits your claim

    I made a valid claim on renter's insurance policy bought from Allstate. Allstate claims representative, Mr. Kirkner, yelled at me over phone that the security deposit is never returned to the renter and that I bought the lowest premium renter's insurance from Allstate. He completely discredited the Allstate product on the phone and took no responsibility. He never contacted the land lord or the property manager to get any more information. Now this claim, as a risky claim, is on my credit report forever. I can no longer obtain any renter's insurance or homeowner's insurance. How can I be a risky applicant if I am sent a proper written document by the property manager at the time of the move-out? The Homeowner Association, landlord and the property manager reported a written incidence of damage and have held $950 from me and this is the amount I paid from my pocket. The fact that All State couldn't do its job by saying that a working number of the landlord and the property manager didn't get them connected, has nothing to do with my being risky. It's just gross incompetence of their team.

    We had a house fire and they took great care of us. Our neighbors house caught fire which caught our house on fire. Our neighbors were not insured by Allstate. The difference was night and day.     AllState has a horrible service !!!, the sellers lie to sell the insurance. I have proof of his lies. they said that the first month I had to pay the first and last month of my policy, .. I can understand that I have paid the last month of insurance with that, right? .. but it is not so .. you must pay the amount of two months in your first payment. cancel my policy because my policy came more than the monthly agreed amount. Only one month page the agreed monthly amount, Every month appeared extras ...technically I was scammed

    35 years as a client. Filed first time ever for uninsured/ under insured and it was denied. As soon as my lawsuit ( going on five years ) is done I’m done with them!     I went with Allstate because my boyfriend was happy with them. At first things were ok and then right after I bound coverage on three policies the agent tried to jack up the price because he didn’t ask the right questions. I argued with him and got some money off although not all, and I am disabled so collect pension, but the problem really started when I agreed to get this plug they call DriveWise which goes in to your vehicle’s computer and spies on your driving. My agent told me I could save up to 20-25% for sage Driving and that in any case I wouldn’t get my premium raised because of it. That was totally false. I got a report that I was clocked at 124 Kms per hour which I know for a FACT isn’t possible. I’m a granny driver and literally my kids and boyfriend make fun of me because I never go over 110 on the highway. In over 35 years Driving I never got a demerit point or more than one speeding ticket. Despite the agent’s assurances, my premiums went up $600 a year after the DriveWise. I shopped around and saved $130 a month!!!!! That’s a huge amount over a year. They aren’t worth it. And the agent committed fraud by changing the premium after coverage had already been bound. Honestly I heard people nick-named this company Allsnake and I think they earned it! Avoid unless you enjoy being aggravated and ripped off.

    Allstate FAIL!

    My agent, Michael Rudicil will not return my calls. I've left several messages for him and have not had any calls returned. I'm canceling my home owners insurance through Allstate because Mercury insurance is giving me LOTS more coverage for almost HALF the price Allstate has been charging me. Allstate FAIL!
