What Does it Cover 

Allstate pet insurance plans cover accidents and illnesses, including any surgeries, hospitalizations, or nursing care required. They also cover medications and alternative therapies. Genetic conditions such as hip dysplasia are covered, but only if your pet was not showing signs of the condition at the time you purchased your policy.

Preventative treatment, including vaccinations, annual check-ups, and dental cleanings, are not covered unless you purchase an optional wellness plan.

Insurance Plans & Pricing 

The cost of your insurance plan will vary based on your pet’s breed, age, gender, and medical history. We received a quote for a 3-year old labrador retriever in Texas in April 2021. A plan with a $10,000 coverage limit, $500 deductible, and 80% reimbursement rate cost $44.45 per month. The optional wellness plan cost an additional $18.75 per month for up to $250 per year in coverage. Quotes are subject to change and will vary by location.

What is Not Covered

Allstate policies do not cover vet fees related to pregnancy or breeding, orthodontic procedures, or treatments for behavioral problems. They also do not cover vitamins, supplements, or prescription food. Pre-existing conditions are excluded from coverage, including genetic conditions for which your pet was showing symptoms at the time of enrollment.

Waiting Periods

Your policy includes a waiting period of 2 days for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, and 6 months for orthopedic conditions.

Coverage Limits

You can choose an annual coverage limit of $5,000, $8,000, $10,000, $15,000, or $30,000.

Reimbursement and deductibles:

Allstate enables you to choose an annual deductible of $200, $300, $500, $750, or $1,000. You can also choose a reimbursement rate of 70%, 80%, or 90%.

Claims and Service

Since Allstate pet insurance policies are offered through Embrace Pet Insurance, you must go through Embrace to submit a claim. Embrace requires an itemized invoice from your vet, and you can submit a claim online or using the Embrace mobile app. Claims are typically processed in 10-15 days and you can receive your reimbursement by physical check or direct deposit.

All insurance is expensive - Allstate has great service!
People usually only leave reviews to complain, so I feel that it’s my duty to leave a great review for Allstate, Service King / Crash Champions on 380, and Enterprise rental car also on 380! My young adult daughter was rear-ended, and the at fault party’s no-name tiny insurance company strung us along and eventually denied the claim. We needed to get her car fixed and ended up filing a claim through our own Allstate uninsured motorist policy. From the day we called Allstate, the ball started rolling quickly! The same day they assigned the shop of my choice (Service King / Crash Champions) and had Enterprise call me to schedule a rental car. It took about a month to get parts and complete the repair, but Ashley at Service King texted us updates and was the one who answered the phone anytime I called. It was so nice to be able to talk to one person throughout the process. They also dealt directly with Allstate. Enterprise rented us a nice car, and we were able to leave it at Service King when we picked up our car. I can’t say enough good things about how these three companies made a frustrating process as simple and easy as possible. Special shout out to Ashley at Service King / Crash Champions for always keeping us informed of the status! Highly recommend Allstate, Enterprise, and Service King / Crash Champions!

Don't hit me if you have Allstate!!!
SOMEONE WROTE THIS PREVIOUSLY. I COULD NOT SAY IT BETTER!!! Their adjusters are horrible to the level they are rude. I wonder if their mother was in a accident with with an Allstate Insured if they would treat her the same....... Thinking they would !!!!!!!!!!! They just don't give a dam! They had the guts to call me to offer me $1000.00 BEFORE they even payed my medical and shop bills! IF i had taken the $$ i would have waved all writes to collect.... They owed me 10 times that!!! Really!?!? I was born at night BUT not last night!!! If an Allstate policy holder hits you and is at fault, just pay your insurance deductible, and have them deal with Allstate. They have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. None of their representatives know what is going on and are not familiar with their own business procedures and policies. They make you pay for your own rental out of pocket and then take more than an entire month to send you your own money back.

If I can give a zero star I would. My daughter had an accident back in 9/12/23. It was the Allstate insurer who committed the accident all his fault. Today is 11/27/23 and my car is not ready because they decided to deny 2 supplements and it pushed the repairs further. The worse part is that I have had to beg them to extend the rental and they denied it, mind you this is there insured person who was at fault. The rental company has taken $400. Out of my account with out letting me know and ALLSTATE IS NOT ANSWERING MY CALLS. Please do not insure with ALLSTATE they make you do all the leg work and do not give the customer the right now I have no car and no rental. The agents name is Victoria Anderson and she is worthless. People don’t care what they put you through even if it is not your fault. The insurer got away and so did Allstate. Make sure that even if you are not injured you sue the crap out of them. I wish I would’ve.

Got Allstate for my auto insurance and…
Got Allstate for my auto insurance and signed up for autopay from my bank. Signed up for paperless and got no notification regarding payments being withdrawn or increased rates. I closed one bank account and went to the website and changed autopay acct to another bank and the next thing I know they are cancelling my account with no notification that they had any issue with autopay, they gave me only one option of paying $3000 to maintain the policy, no ability to pay the late payment even though I reached out to them and explained the situation. Service is terrible and can't understand service reps. Went with Progressive online spoke to a US based agent saved 30% and a pleasure to talk to and deal with.

My wife was hit twice
My wife was hit twice, once a bus hit our parked vehicle. the second was a women hit us from behind. the year before our basement flooded, they made an outrageous claim for thousands of dollars because of a small leak. Due to these claims they marked us high risk, and then cancelled our insurance, putting on file that we were high risk and now we can’t get insurance for a decent price. Allstate is the worst insurance company I have ever been with, they are a scam, they treat their customers like garbage. I will never go with them again.

Unilatterally and illegally changed my primium!
I agreed with his Allstate agent "Luis" to insure my car with Allstate on September 25, 2023 On Oct 2, Allstate sent me a completed insurance policy. All the details of the agreement, including the premium, were included. It also confirmed the October 19th effective date, Neither the agent nor the 44-page policy asked for any further action on my part. On the contrary, Luis told me that everything was complete. On October 26th, I received a letter, dated Oct 19, from Allstate stating that they increased my policy premium by approx. $160 over the 6-month period because I failed to sign some unspecified document. BS! What document? Who and when did anyone request the document be signed? NO ONE! NOWHERE! NEVER! I called Allstate super, explained the entire situation and refused to pay the higher premium. The agent said she would correct the problem but on Nov 4 I received text messages saying that Allstate was going to start taking the $160 out of my account. What?!! I called back another supervisor, who agreed to correct the error. On Nov 7 I again received a text that the $160 was going to be withdrawn. I have called again and have been promised a call back. No call back. LIARS! Allstate should be prosecuted. There is no customer service, just delays, lies and theives. I have spent 9 hours on this scam so far. It's not just the supervisors, it is ALLSTATE who makes their people lie!

Allstate lied and stole my money
Allstate lied and stole my money. I was comparing rates online and found that they offered a competitive rate for insuring my car, so I purchased the policy online. Nowhere did it specify a start date for the policy. I then received an email that said my policy started in two weeks. I was completely surprised by this, and called them on the phone to get it fixed, because I couldn't afford to pay them for two weeks of providing me with no insurance. On the phone, they said they would have to write me a new quote if I wanted it to start right away, and that quote turned out to be WAY more expensive. I told them no thank you,and I told them I did not want the other policy that they had misinformed about when I bought it. They told me that it was taken care of, and that it was canceled. A week later, Allstate took an $88 charge out of my bank account. I called them to ask why, and they told me that the person I talked to had not actually canceled my policy like they said they had, because "you didn't have other insurance coverage." 1. - this was a flat out lie, because I did have my other insurance coverage still, 2. - the person who lied to me about canceling my policy never asked me if I had other insurance, or said anything about not cancelling my policy if I didn't, and 3 - I have never had any other insurance company implement that rule. They just made it up so they could keep my money, after lying to me in the first place. The customer service representatives were both extraordinarily rude, and blamed me for everything that they did, including blaming me for not seeing the start date when I originally bought the policy. Well if it was there, they did a great job of hiding it. I am very upset that they stole from me, and how do I even know if the second person wasn't also lying about canceling? I'm with the people who are hoping for a class action lawsuit. This company is practicing theft and fraud on purpose and needs to be stopped.

I signed up for allstate towing last February but canceled the same day because they were trying to get tow trucks from 100 miles away and the drivers kept canceling. I was assured that allstate canceled my account but recently saw that they've been charging my credit card $10.16 every month since February. I see this has happened to a lot of people, so clearly Allstate is in the business of fraud. I think it's time we start a class action lawsuit against allstate for stealing our money and wasting our time.

they keep charging me after my policy was canceled even know there customer service reps said it was a error sent me a check that i did not cash cause it was a error but yet still trying to charge me and now reporting on my credit report and unpaid balance do not use this company google Allstate scamming customers out of there funds

I had a disgusting experience at Allstate Leaside office on Vanderhoof.This is a walk in office and closes at 5pm. Today is Thursday and I had a 2:30 appt with Connie Li -appt was made by Emma the secretary. I was called by Allstste at 1:45 but I could not answer as I was in dentist chair . There was no message left for me. I drove all the way only to get another call from Emma as I put my hand on the main door to the building. She told me Connie was sick. Very Sorry. Why I asked did you not leave a MESSAGE TO TELL ME. no answer only so sorry. I was more than furious. There were people in the office but Emma told me no -one could help me as everyone is on HYBRID !!! This is supposed to be a walk in office ! and they had already locked their office door at 2 :30 or even before ? WHY ,? This office should be permanently closed as no - one seems to know what they are doing. It would have been courteous to have left me a message . I drove over an hour to get to an already locked up for the day office. They should all be fired.

Allstate insured 20 years, getting better coverage elsewhere.
Insured by Allstate over 20 years, first agent premium, all since then are mediocre. Allstate local agents basically do nothing toward routine issues and Allstate corporate staff refuses customer contact. Allstate for 25% overvaluing property to increase premiums and no real service. In Texas requires separate windstorm coverage. Again Allstate requires third party windstorm coverage be overvalued more than the third party windstorm carrier requires. Allstate requires more coverage than any other carrier to collect the same potential damages. Allstate isn't going to pay you the claim overvaluation. Their computer is king and sacred such that if an entry is put in their computer it is an absolute, whether correct true or not. If able to reach corporate staff they will acknowledge billing charge errors (computer generate loop errors), but Allstate corporate denies call ever occurred 24 hours later.

True Bottom feeders
This company is the bottom of being a bottom feeders, after receiving a cancellation notice i paid the past due amount mind you Allstate has a 30 day grace period, The bill i received included the following months balance which wasn't due until like 12 days later, after paying off the past due balance I thought everything was good, i also called a agent and confirmed everything was good, Well when I went into the app too pay the following month i notice that the policy was cancelled 😳 i couldn't understand why, so after talking with a rude ass agent he stated the i didn't pay on time, now it was only owing my current balance but was inform the policy was cancelled this is so low down , DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE YOU WILL BE CANCELED EVENTUALLY

CHECK THE REVIEWS FOR ALLSTATE HERE IN BELLEVILLE: just got off the phone from Robert Davis who sells insurance for Allstate here in Belleville. For my 2023 Toyota Camry I paid $1071.30 for insurance from Nov. 2022 to Nov. 2023. Robert Davis has just quoted me that my new insurance policy rate is going to cost me $1717.00 per year. A $646.00 increase when I have never (I REPEAT) never had a at fault claim in my life. Allstate insurance is a garbage company, and Robert Davis talks a lot but says nothing. Before getting insurance with Allstate in Belleville people--do your DUE-DILLIGENCE. It is indeed pitiful Robert that insurance agents like you give insurance companies bad names. For people who are looking at Allstate for insurance, I strongly suggest you run don't walk just run as fast as you can away from ALLSTATE:

DO NOT use ALLSTATE INSURANCE or Dan Brown. My home was pelted with 1.5" of hail and my roof has a million dents! Allstate Insurance says this is "COSMETIC DAMAGE". My opinion is very different... Allstate nor Agent Dan Brown cares about your property. They only care about profits. Dan Brown did nothing to help our family. He told me "we will just deny your claim for some other reason". Five months of fighting with them. Unbelievable treatment of a customer, I've never seen anything like this. FIRE THEM!!

One star is generous..no stars is more appropriate. My husband was stranded on the side of the road after he hit an unforeseen clay pot that slashed his tires. He waited for over an hour ( almost 2 hours) for roadside assistance on a very very dangerous blind curve. I ended up going to him to give him my car so he could get to work. My husband dutifully gave the Allstate agent his credit card over the phone, for which they charged him $250.. ( we found out later when we saw our cc statement…we don’t know why, we had roadside assistance on our policy!) then at about 2 hours later while I was standing on the side of the road, waving my arms so speeding cars would not hit my car- the tow truck comes.. and charges us another $89. The tow to tire place was 1 mile away. This is the second time we’ve had to chase down money for our “ covered” roadside assistance. They bank on their exhausting back and forth questions of what’s the id number and you’re covered but you pay first and we reimburse you..but if you don’t have every little unknown detail you get no where. We are changing our insurance ASAP. Ridiculous unhelpful and way overcharged.. where are the “Good hands” when you need them? Don’t even think about using this insurance company.. you’ll be sorry when you need them.. but wait isn’t that what insurance is for?

they just raised my premium for no reason from $173 to $226. As well as never followed up on a report about my brother being on my driving record just because we have had the same address when I registered the car. Basically DO NOT use these people. They are scammers.

Allstate consistently and unreasonably delays paying claims to force its policyholders to give up, totally denies valid claims or offers a lower amount than what should actually be paid, and unfairly defends claims that should have simply been paid or settled. Allstate’s program to cheat policyholders and boost its profits. This bad conduct is not by accident; instead, it is an intentional program by Allstate to increase its profits without considering the merits of a claim. Allstate hired the New York consulting firm McKinsey & Company to design this shady program. Allstate adjusters are expected to lie to their customers. Allstate agents are trained to lie to customers and receive extra compensation when they reduce claims payment through these dishonest techniques. The American Association of Justice is not the only group to discover Allstate's bad conduct. According to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, more complaints are filed against Allstate than are filed against almost all of its major competitors. For example, Allstate received the largest fine in Maryland history for raising premiums and changing policy terms without notifying its customers. In Texas, Allstate agreed to pay more than $70 million in fines after insurance regulators discovered that the company was overcharging homeowners throughout the state. After Hurricane Katrina, Allstate improperly denied property insurance claims by residents of the Gulf Coast who lost everything. My clients experience a denied claim and I was working on her behalf, I have a recorded conversation with the agent on the claim and what I experienced was unbelievable, my client was denied without an excuse or an adjustor to view the roof. ALLSTATE WILL NOT PROTECT YOU
ALLSTATE WILL NOT PROTECT YOU. Do not pick them for your insurance needs. I had fraudulent activity on my car insurance policy & they required me to “open an investigation” before they would do anything to correct the situation. The “investigation” was open for ~3 months & I called every ~2 weeks for an update since no one from Allstate would call me back. Each time I called “paper trails were missing” even thought I was able to provide a reference number. I have been screwed out of hundreds of dollars due to this fraud & Allstate has done nothing to assist me or protect me. I also reported to the Better Business Bureau.

I have basically been a claim free…
I have basically been a claim free Allstate customer for a few years (1windshield replaced) and have a few properties and vehicles insured through them. I am in Michigan but Im dealing with an adjuster in the Colorado office for some reason. At one of my properties, I have documented hail damage to my shingles, box vents, sky lights and gutters. (Numerous detailed photographs and a detailed report) Allstate acknowledged damage to only nine box vents and provided an estimate that deliberately came in under my deductible basically denying my claim. Not only was the claim denied, the estimate did not account for a complete and proper repair. My roofing contractors provided detailed documentation from manufacturers explaining the repair and they were shut down and told to watch YouTube videos for repair alternatives. (I am not making this up) I requested a re-inspection and even the inspector acknowledged this but I am still being denied. I cannot believe all the trouble I am having with such detailed reports and photos showing all of the damage. Allstate also claimed my roof was too old!! Funny!!! That didn't stop them from collecting the insurance premium every year. This is ongoing and a very hard lesson learned. Do your research, I thought Allstate was one of the better providers.

ABSENCE OF ANY LOGIC
I made payment IN FULL for all 6 months auto insurance. After I made that payment, I figured, since all was paid and the balance is $0, I wouldn't need to be enrolled in auto pay anymore, so I checked that off, right AFTER the full 6 months payment was posted. Imagine my surprise when I saw the new charge of $75: after I paid for everything at once, they thought I should lose my auto pay discount even when the balance was $0 and no additional payments were required. I didn't notice that immediately, two weeks passed by and then I saw they put me back on installment payments and charged additional $200 because I lost the discount for payment in full as well. They said, since I failed to pay that $75 charged for disenrollment from auto pay, I didn't pay my policy in full. Carmen Ramirez was my agent and she did a great job explaining how their system was crooked but did literally nothing to help me get back those two discounts. After a decade of loyalty, I am definitely switching to another insurance company, because this wasn't the only time I had issues with Allstate. Another time their fantastic system cancelled my auto insurance for no reason at all and it took me a month and zillion phone calls to get the things right. So, think twice before you do business with them!

I submitted a claim for wind damage…
I submitted a claim for wind damage after a big storm knocked a bunch of shingles off my roof. Had it inspected by their 3rd party inspected “Hanson/Hansen/Hancock something like that” which also agreed there is wind damage. Had a brittle test, pliability test, all failed and they no longer make my 3 tab metric shingle. They suggested cutting up a standard 3 tab shingle which isn’t possible. They also would change adjusters on me ever few weeks so I would have to start the process ALL OVER from scratch with the new adjusted. After it was all said and done, I think they had passed me over to more than 10 different adjusters. This is just fraudulent! It took 11 months to finally get my wind damage covered, after going through over 10 adjusters (they kept moving me around just as soon as I started making progress), and had to ultimately take it to the State Insurance office before they finally did ANYTHING. This company is a bunch of scam artist and they WILL NOT cover you when/if you ever have a claim.

Allstate's customer service is non existent
Allstate's customer service is literally non existent. Local agent is of no help to resolve issues. The 800-255-7828 call center is useless as well. Going on week four to get an issue resolved. I've been bounced around after several calls with no one taking the initiative to correct Allstate's error. I wouldn't recommend this insurance company to my worst enemy.

I have a roof claim
I have a roof claim, every house in my subdivision is damaged and had no problem with insurance claims and I have the most expensive home insurance with extra roof coverage and have had to fight with them , !st they turn almost every claim down, hoping you go away then 2 more days off work and only want to replace partial and some how match !!! Come on Allstate , I have missing shingles and water damage . they are the worst company and you will not be in good hands with scamstate (Allstate)

Michael Boss represents your company so well. He is a keeper, so fast and responsive and does what he says he is going to do. Even stays on the line to ensure you received what you needed. He helped me with my last few transactions of adding a vehicle and I reached out about a billing question as I had wanted to pay a lump sum and even though not something he is responsible for he called me to help me through it and gave me all of the details of what to do and how to do it. He goes above and beyond and would make me want to stay with Allstate because of him,

Terrible company, deny your claim even after providing all the evidence and info they ask for. Do not use this insurance company. I went through all the steps they asked me to and then they denied my claim. 4 months of wasted time. Rude staff and never return calls. Lousy Customer Service
Allstate apparently has NO concept or understanding of "customer service". I've been with them for about six months. It has been one thing or another since I started with them. If I could give a negative rating I would. Very little of what they said they would do was followed through with initially, Information was incorrectly entered and/or omitted and subsequently created numerous issues and problems that I ended up dealing with. Just getting in touch with someone that can actually help you with anything is an absolute nightmare, whether it's just a simple question or needing to change something. Continually disconnected from calls and have to call back 5-6 times just to get to someone that knows anything or can accomplish what you need to do. Apparently they think that they are doing you a favor by letting you pay them, and not doing their part. This way of doing business seems to be becoming the "standard" for a lot of businesses. I dropped a different company because of the same issue(s). Once again I will be taking my business elsewhere with no intentions of coming back to this company.

Our agent kept calling us every hour to sale the products. After sale he did not bother himself to respond. When we started with them my name couldn’t add to insurance since my driving license was expired. The next day I called 5 times to inform them about driving license renewals and left messages. Sent 3 emails but no respond. I couldn’t drive for few days , however they withdrew the money the first day. Hate this company

I would give them minus1 if I could. Having 6 policies with them, I would hope they cared about me , but I found out they didn't! They did not inform me, when my agent quitt. Then I found out they got rid of all agents! In addition they have claimes in my Auto insurance, that I don't recognize. So now i am having a hard time finding new insurance, because I can not contest the claims.

Deceiving Commitment…!
This Insurance isn’t reliable at all…! Don’t / Won’t stand up to the commitment you think you sign on for auto / home insurance. You think cause you have multiple policies you would get a reasonable discount you don’t. And it not like you’re going to use or file claims on all of the multiple, if ever use. However please beware of being deceived down the line. I guess that is why I see many commercials right now of who they are, and what they offer for coverage 😏. Still waiting to be treated like I matter as a on time auto paying customer who rates have truly gone up up up and away with my hard earned money. Been a customer for some years and I am tried now so I come waring all that’s thinking of trying Allstate keep shopping around. Overview: Allstate seems to be selling snake oil. They refuse to provide the service and coverage you pay for. Please go elsewhere. Extremely Frustrating Experience with Allstate Claim - Unprofessional Handling and Lack of Communication I feel compelled to share my highly disappointing and frustrating experience with Allstate regarding my recent claim. The mishandling, lack of comprehension, and overall run-around I have received from Allstate agents have left me in utter disbelief and has forced me to seek legal assistance to resolve the matter. It all started on 06/06/2023 when I first contacted Allstate to report my claim for Hail damage that led to subsequent water damage and mold. I spoke with an agent named Ashley, who was initially very helpful and passed my claim off to who she believed was appropriate to take over the case. My claim was then handed over to Damaris Fuentes, who, unfortunately, proved to be incompetent. Despite the contractor and Allstate's own representative confirming the hail damage connection, Damaris insisted that the claim should be denied because it was filed as water damage. It was evident that Damaris had not taken the time to fully comprehend the situation, resulting in unnecessary complications (they had me submit a new claim as hail instead of water which should have never happened and will negatively impact my rates going forward) A new claim was eventually opened per Darmaris instructions on 06/13/2023, but the ordeal was far from over. Tiffany, who was assigned to the new claim on 06/27/2023, took an excessively long time to respond to my inquiries. When she finally did, she concluded that the new claim was, in fact, a duplicate of the original one and should have never been opened. This revelation added more frustration to the already convoluted situation. To my dismay, on 07/21/2023, Ben from Allstate reached out to discuss the wrong claim despite my attempts to explain the mix-up. Ben seemed completely oblivious to the communication between Tiffany and myself, and persisted in discussing the wrong case. It became apparent that the lack of internal communication within Allstate was contributing to my distressing experience. In my desperation for a resolution, I contacted Bailey on the same day to inform her about the ongoing issue and the distressing run-around I was facing. However, it seems that even reaching out to another representative yielded no significant improvement in the situation. The lack of accountability and communication among Allstate's team members is truly astonishing. At this point, my frustration has reached its peak, and I have been left with no choice but to seek the assistance of an attorney and a public adjuster. I sincerely hope that Allstate will take a serious look at this matter and provide the coverage that I faithfully pay for. The fact that I am now forced to consider legal action just to receive the services I am entitled to under my policy is deeply disappointing. Allstate's mishandling of my claim, the agents' lack of comprehension, and the perpetual run-around I have been subjected to have significantly eroded my trust in the company. It is disheartening to witness such unprofessional behavior from an insurance provider that is supposed to prioritize its customers' well-being. I hope this review serves as a wake-up call for Allstate to address its internal communication issues, improve its agent training, and prioritize the well-being of its customers

Horrible service
I am with them still cuz I believe all insurance companies are the same. I made claims but I never received communication from them. Every time I must call them. Received Email response when I sent pictures and documents saying "Recieved". But no comments or questions or follow ups. I escalated but no use. Last claim I made took nearly 1 and a half years to get reimbursement of my deductible. Current claim too. No detailed pointed explanation Allstate decided my fault. Rep. dropped call while I was making statement, called me back but accusing I hang up. Going who hang up for 5 min. and I lost train of my thoughts. My cell was at year focusing explaining I don't have any reason to drop the call. Could be an accidentally dropped but I believe he did it strategically.

To send an email to your Allstate agent, you need to accept Allstate's marketing junk mail. No other way. Their agents are unresponsive, the insurance prices went through the roof (without any notices or outreach by the agent), and providing feedback is very difficult... I could go on and on. Overall, after 12+ years with them, I am ditching them for good.

Multiple Policy I can't access.
I have Home, auto, and a commercial business policy. This is the worst site to navigate for reviewing policies. I can't access my business policy details on my Inland Marine, because Allstate won;t link the policy with my Commercial Business Policy. So every year, for the last three years I have to call and ask to have the policy info emailed, and make the payment on the phone. Then when I try to communicate with my agent, I get these useless emails.

I started a policy with Allstate in December of 2022. When I got this policy it was to separate mine and my husbands insurance policy and company for very personal reasons. In April Allstate decided without any permission from me to add my husband to my policy and raised my rate to 285.00 a month more then I pay for my car payments. The customer service rep. told me it was a state law and it is not if the person was not added from the first date and he WAS NOT!!!!!!! I have spoken to many x Allstate customers and have been told similar stories of rate raising and adding people who do not belong, without permission to their policies so they can raise their rates. SCAMMMMMMMMEEEERRRRSSSSSS and TTTTTHHHHHEEEEEEIIIIIIVVVVVVEEEEESSSS Please do not use them you will not be happy I promise......If I could give a 0 star I would.

My agent and his team DID not communicate with each other at all. He even admitted he could do work better with his team. His team was telling me false and misleading information which lead to my policy being cancelled. They did not take any blame or responsibility whatsoever and I am extremely disappointed in their customer service.

If I could give a 0 I would. My parents have been with them over 30 years. Never put in a claim against homeowners insurance or Car insurance. 2 years ago they tried to put in a claim. Told it was covered started work then stated oops we don’t cover it. Now this year last week my parents pump broke and the house flooded. Oh it’s not covered. My dad has a plan which he was told covered everything. Well once again oh no we can’t do that. After 30 years good bye all state.

No coverage for roof storm damage
Had roof damage after strong storms. Arranged for a quick review and repair/replace before the next storms came in. Allstate informed. Roof is 19 years old, so new roof it was. Allstate paid nothing, claiming that we didn't give them enough time to check it out before during the repairs to protect the property. Didn't expect full replacement cost. Really didn't expect zero. Nada. Nothing.

If I could put a zero rating I would... Stay far away from your in good hands with Allstate thats a bold face lie. I hit a deer on my way to work on June 5th, I have a 2023 Kia K5GT. That has 2700 miles on it.. So far, The Body Shop has found $22000 in damage. He told me if it was his car he would not want it back.. Allstate does not want to total out the car. I have been fighting with them now For 4 weeks now no one will return my call. After reading all the bad reviews on Allstate,I would not go there for pet insurance. I told Allstate they can send all that checks They want to The Body Shop I will not sign one. If I was able to submit pictures of my car I would. Airbags were deployed, seat belts locked up, still want to fix car. I am not in good hands I am in mayham. I'm not sure what my next step is but I'm standing firm. I don't want a car that has no value to me! as I have lost all trade in value on it. Allstate has told me my car is worth 35k and I paid 30k for it. 😆 now that's funny.

My claim has been open for over three months now, and I must express my frustration with the entire process. Initially, the insurance company attempted to deny everything related to our water mitigation issue. Eventually, they approved the claim, but their settlement offer was only a fraction of what it actually cost to complete the necessary repairs. We sought out multiple estimates, and despite our efforts, the company showed no willingness to provide a fair resolution. I am deeply disappointed with their handling of this situation, and I can confidently say that I will never consider using this company again. Their homeowners insurance policy has proven to be the worst I have ever experienced. I strongly advise against putting your trust in their hands.

Truck was stolen
Truck was stolen, no one even contatcted me for at least 18 days. Every time i called i was put on hold every single time more than 45mins on average. Can't handle home Insurance with more than 1 person
Just a simple PSA for any folks currently with AllState or considering Allstate : If you're considering a Tenant Insurance policy with this company and your household has more than 1 person - I'd strongly suggest you don't purchase a policy from them. In the course of a year they've easily shown that they're incapable of doing the following : - removing A policyholder's name from a Joint Tenant insurance policy - remove One set of payment information from said policy - Update the missing contact+payment information with the new contact information AND payment information of the remaining policyholder in this policy - contact you in a timely manner regarding complaints/issues with your policy - Unable to resolve financial disputes regarding payment schedules on a policy TL:DR - please don't get a policy if you're getting a tenant Policy with 2 or more people as you're in for a world of miscommunication bordering on never getting your money back.

Read this before choosing Allstate
If I could give zero stars, I would. I was misled and lied to about a homeowners policy and an auto policy. I purchased a homeowners policy with replacement cost on items and have emails confirming it only to be told by corporate they don't sell Replacment cost policies, and I'm not covered. I also added a car to my policy and found out today the agent never followed through, and the car was never added. I was still paying but had no coverage. After spending 6 hours on the phone, I was hung up on and told there was nothing they or I could do. I filed a complaint with the PA insurance department with all emails, phone recordings, and policy documents. On top of this, a quick search of a couple of agents' names brings up at least 5 lawsuits for these same practices. Stay away!

5/31/23 their 86 yr old insurer ran a red light and caused the accident. 1. he never reported. police report said he cause it. since 5/31 and it is 6/13 i have been trying to get my payment for the car. Have been told by 4 different agents 3 different things on getting paid. their policy is once the tite is signed and uploaded to them payment is in 24hr. now they are trying to say when they have the car and title then we can you. The auction people copart said nce the title is in allstate they need to pay you not wait for us to get the car. the car is not yours anymore. no where on the paper does it say you need to wait for the car to be pickup and at the acution place in any doc or on their website. Allstate is a scam when they have to you for their drivers.. off to see the lawyer...

Run. Don't walk. Your insurance agent from El Paso (Manchuca) will raise your rates every chance she gets. You will get 60 different stories from 50 different call center "agents". Adjuster Stacey Holt could not be bothered to take down a phone call. I am not at fault and they will drag their feet just as other insurance company does. Buyer Beware! Terrible business!
Needed a tow and found out that two “events” only are allowed per calendar year. Doesn’t matter if its 2 tows or 2 battery charges. This was NOT something that was discussed when I purchased. APP is terrible - hard to navigate and doesn’t appear to really reach anyone. Phone number for roadside assistance has a voice answering system that goes round and round and you end up where you started. Customer service (when you finally get through) was rude, unknowledgeable with no solutions. I had the same rude service both times I was allowed to use my plan. Seriously, worst company ever!

WARNING BEWARE OF: Allstate Insurance Agent: Bradley Howard, brother to Moe & Curly Jennifer Green, Allstate Insurance Adjuster Allstate’s favorite restoration - True North Restoration Allstate is seedy, sleazy, unethical, corrupt and inhumane. They lie, cheat and intimidate and operate in bad faith. After significant research, it was learned that Allstate teaches their adjusters to deny claims, then rewards them with kickbacks, which are safely called ‘bonuses’. These bonuses circle back to the agents. These people are not our friends – nor yours! This story involves two major water damages in our home. First on June 30, 2022 and second on November 16, 2022. Several years with the company without any claims FIRST: Pipe break/main water line on third floor. Severe water damage to the third floor and to the main floor. Asbestos located in small area on main floor. Relocated to hotel, 40 days. True North, Allstate’s preferred restoration company, extorted $10,000 from us saying they couldn’t begin without it. We reported and threatened them with fraud and elder abuse. The funds were returned. There was serious property damage PLUS extensive personal property losses. SECOND: (A frozen spicket in patio) damaged the entire basement area, storage room, garage, fireplace and surrounding areas on the main floor. It also affected our neighbors unit. Basement/storage area were restored, the fire place area remains untouched. Extensive property damages and personal property damages. PERSONAL PROPERTY CLAIMS: The story gets interesting, muddy and sinister and Allstate’s bad faith performance is in full view. Agent, Howard convinced us that we had his full support. He had our 6-month period extended till May 1, 2023. Keep in mind that we’re trying to make sense of two floods creating what appeared to us like rubble and a land fill. Plus, contractors coming in and out like a revolving door. Jennifer Green stressed that each item had to be listed separately, price, date of purchase and pictures. This was a tedious, labor intense project that took numerous hours and deep concentration. When we completed the project, we couldn’t get our computer to send, so B. Howard said he would do it. We had only one week to meet the deadline. The report was dropped off to Howard at a central Allstate office. However, Howard conveniently left on a weekend excursion leaving Jacob, an associate in charge. We couldn’t make contact with Jacob, so we chased down the report and found it in the central office in a file room untouched. We took it and tried processing at Staples and Home Depot and each time, “Case Closed”. Returned to central office and the front desk receptionist processed it for us. Finally, in Jennifer Green’s hands. We immediately received a call from Jennifer Green with Agent Brad Howard on the line. She began picking the items one by one, kicking them all out and asking for Howard’s approval, his response was “yes’. Then I was told all items would be picked up and tested at ‘OUR’ expense. It all unraveled for us plain and clear. It was set up so we wouldn’t meet the deadline, all designed by both, Jennifer Green and our Agent, Moe & Curly’s brother, Howard. The plan was to make it impossible for us to collect. At this point my husband said, these people are killing us, working us like mules, breaking down are health, we are not going to file personal property claims on these two, and we didn’t. Under Allstate’s watch, there has been a broken wrist, a broken femur due to True North’s sloppy clean-up in their construction sites.

Where do you even begin with this lot? We’re on our third adjustor after the tornado. The first was “removed” after an extremely foolish man came to our home, and told us that the insurers weren’t ever planning to pay. Presuming we just live in a broken home. After the announcement of “we’re definitely taking legal action”. We were given a competent man. Who left. I’m presuming he quit, as the entire company seems like an outfit. Happy to take your premiums, but will happily refute your genuine claim. You can live in a designated disaster zone and they will say things like: “how do you know it was a tornado?” Oh I don’t know. Maybe by the weather, or the fact our possessions blew away. Even a simple google search seems like rocket science to their employees. They ring at inappropriate times. It’s like the sabbath isn’t even respected. As they will happily dial your cell phone while you’re in church. This company is a joke and I won’t rest until I get what I’m owed. My advice. Avoid these people like the plague is in town. You’ll absolutely regret giving them your hard earned money. As they rob you blind and then have their CEO brag he doesn’t care. I resent giving even one star.

Not in good hands, but in greedy hands, they doubled my insurance policy after my first accident after 12 yrs of coverage with them, so much for accident forgiveness! It doesn't exist and they are just greedy and immoral at this point. They have so many bad reviews as of lately, I think they should be cancelled. Definitely getting new coverage and tbh all insurance companies are all greedy it seems and deceitful these days. Just don't get the so called square coverage for anything either it's an absolute joke!

Allstate is a fraud. I have been a client with a bundle policy (1 house, one landlord, and one auto) for more than ten years. No claims except hail damage to roof. Recently, I found some water damage in the kitchen--wall, cabinets, and floor--caused by a leaking faucet behind the refrigerator. Today is the sixth day. Allstate has not yet approved any repair. A local company Paul Davis was sent by them to fix dry wall damage, and today I got a call that its charges are not covered by them. I wish there was a lower score I could give them.

We carried Allstate for home, car and landlord insurance (3 rentals) for 20 years and never filed a claim. We’ve moved states and lived in multiple houses. No claims until a couple years ago when our refrigerator line got a pinhole leak and did some damage in our kitchen. We needed new kitchen floors and a couple cabinets repaired. Their estimate was about 1/6 what we were told it would cost to repair but they conceded and paid. Fast forward a bit and there’s a hail storm that sent roofers knocking on our door to say there was likely damage. We told them to take a look and they confirmed. Talked to Allstate who wanted to send out their people who said there was no damage. Fine, we said. Close the claim. Then last summer, a pipe in our basement sprung a pinhole leak. Drywall needed repaired, and carpets cleaned. Couldn’t have cost too much. We even used their “good hands” contractor who took 6 months!!! To wrap it all up. No big deal, we said. As soon as the claim closed … Allstate told us they were dropping us!!! What?!?! Conclusion? You’re in good hands as long as you never ever file any claim.

Never asked for milewise device to be sent to me. Price was not stated that I had to use this device and I deselected it when I purchased the policy but yet they still did a bait-and-switch and now I have to look for policy again for a company that does not spy on my driving.

I was involved in an accident with a car insured by Allstate. The Allstate adjuster said they would call me back in 5 minutes to do a recorded statement. They never called me back and made little or no attempt to get in touch with their insured. I have always had bad experiences with Allstate

These guys use biased and unprofessional contractors that no one would ever hire in private practice . They use the same contractors to diminish and devaluate your claim. It’s a conflict of interest when they use contractors repeatedly and over prolonged and full time hours. The politicians support this company by not truly or fairly regulating them and handing over tax dollars in support of their corrupt practices . Escalating your complaint to their Ombudsman’s office is pointless as they are not a fair or neutral body and most of the staff is young and very inexperienced and have little to no regard for your position or standpoint. They won’t respond to much and force each client to get a lawyer and or wrangle the broken political regulations fiasco. This is by far the largest organization of liars cheats and buffoons . Far worse than any other as the front line insincerity and fake smiles are short lived when you loose house and home with these cheating clowns .

worst customer service/and don't deliver on their promises
i had auto, renters and motor club insurance with all state, i was out of the country for an extended period time, well my house had 10 pipe break of water leakage even that i had my main shut off valve turned off, well i lost every piece of furniture in my basement and in the 1st floor the carpet got damage along with my tv computer monitor and an executive desk, i put a claim and they denied the claim suppossly because no one was at the house for more than 30 days,well to make matters worse my auto battery was dead i needed a jump start and called roadside asisstance and they told me taht because i had just reativated my car insurance that i had to pay out of pocket at all this i had been paying for the automotive club all along, so i pay $90.00 and requested a refund so they said they will send me some document to fill out for the refund and this was around march 6 2023 today is April 7 and i still haven't receive nothing, and even though i cancelled all my policies with allstate since March 6 2023 ,on March 27 they still withdrew $23.49 insurance premium and today they withdrew $14.92 for the motor club and every time i try calling them every single person i call say i can't help you BUT call this number that number tell me the same thing call this number and after calling 5 different numbers the six number i call try to help me but oh that office is close you have to call tomorow , bottom line i have had at least 4 or 5 diferent insurance carrier but, never ever had had so much trouble trying to contact some body from allstate, so do not believe the term "Your In Good Hands" because you are not, i don't have any enemy but if i did i will not reccomend allstate to them,the worst insurance company that in my 63 years of life and having insurance since i was 18 years old that i have ever dealt with, if you have heart problems do not purchase allstate insurance beacause dealing with them could affect your health as well as yor pockets, thank you

They try hard not to pay claims
I had severe storm and hail damage to my roof in 2022 and had pretty bad leaks with interior damage. Allstate adjusters inspected my roof and said there was only $400 damage and completely denied the interior damages. I have never been so unhappy with an insurance company. I do not recommend them!!

HUGE ATTITUDE PROBLEM with customer service
CUSTOMER SERVICE is disgraceful. My FIRST experience with their customer service and I think it will be my last. I called to make a payment (I have auto pay but noticed the money wasn’t taken out my a/c). Over and hour to make the payment, the First Indian lady hung up on me, even though she was she rude and aggressive one, the other four agents left me on “hold” NO ONE CALLED BACK. It felt like I was a burden to them, calling in to make that payment. Why are these people in customer service? And why is Allstate putting up with bad attitudes towards their clients? Remember, I called in to make a payment. Been with Allstate for years and now I’m thinking I may have to shop around because I won’t want to ever go through their Customer service ever again. What a shame!

This company logo is: you are in good hands with Allstate. Well, this is not true. It's very difficult to get someone in claims to communicate with you regarding claims. My son's car was stolen from our driveway and was involved in a shoot by the people that stole it. When the car was retrieved it was vandalized and wrecked beyond. I told them that we would not take the car back and would like the blue book value to obtain a new car. There give people the run around for their money. Buyer Beware.

Why did Allstate not pay for my complete repairs? I had my car fixed at a shop I have worked with in the past. They informed me Allstate would not pay their labor rate and took a 3% parts discount on all the parts on my vehicle. They are not an Allstate shop and have no agreement with them. I called several shops in my area and they charge the same labor rate as my shop. When I asked if they give a parts discount to Allstate, they all said no. Most of them recommended switching insurance companies as Allstate does not have a good reputation for taking care of their customers and fighting over repair estimates with shops. Serval of the shops said since it is Allstate, they would need payment before the vehicle left. They said Allstate does not pay their bills. I asked my estimator who he would recommend for an insurance company and will be making the change soon.

Do better Allstate
Allstate did a quote for me and thought it was appropriate to bill me on auto pay for over 8 months without my permission. They will only refund me for 3 months and refuse to refund the rest. I never owned the car. I just wanted a quote. Make it right Allstate. Don’t get a quote from Allstate they will take your money without your knowledge or permission. I definitely don’t feel like I’m in good hands.

Allstate Homeowners Claim Issues
I have had Allstate Homeowners Insurance since 2006 and have never had to file a claim. In 2022 we had a devastating storm come through and severely damage my roof. Claim #0682410485 was filed on August 25th 2022. Daryl Mistric had the claim to begin with. He scheduled an Allstate funded adjuster to look at the roof and his direct words while on my roof was, "This is the worst hail damage I have ever seen in my life." After the adjuster came out Daryl stated that there was no damage on the roof. Since then, there has been three separate roofing contractors look at my roof with the same opinion of severe damage. Daryl decided to have a virtual inspection of my roof with one of the roofing companies and even with all of the evidence in front of him, he still stated that there was no significant hail damage. There was no communication until March 3rd 2023 when another storm came through and now has blown shingles off into my yard. When I got in touch with Daryl, he let me know that he had been out of the country and my claim had been assigned to a different representative (Nicholas Nagle). Upon initial contact when the second storm came through, there was a response from William Swenson that my adjuster is taking time off and I was to wait until I received a response. I finally called Nicholas and spoke with him about the claim which he was unfamiliar with and wanted to research it and get back to me. I have not heard from Nicholas or anyone from Allstate since that phone call. Currently, my roof is in shambles and Allstate is trying their best not to cover it even though there has been multiple companies that have looked at it all with the same opinion of damage. Allstate has shown that they are very good at ignoring the issue and we have had a very hard time getting them to respond since then. I have always had a good opinion of Allstate, but after this situation, I have changed my opinion and would advise everyone to stay away from Allstate Ins.

Definitely Not in Good Hands.
My car was hit on Dec 14 2022, and even though the other guy insurance accepted the liability, i had to pay, and now post 2 months they have started the recovery process. Very hard to contact adjuster, email never returned; call goes to voice mail. total disaster. Also, the diminished value inspector will give you a very low ball which is never acceptable. Overall not great insurance, claim process is very slow, and just don't expect anything from diminished value inspector. Their logo says "you are in good hand" but first hand experience says definitely not in good hands.

Customer service is horrible
It is not even that good! They told me I would receive a refund about a week later after I canceled my policy it has been three weeks, and I cannot talk to anyone, except for the agent. No matter what I called they sent me back to my agent, and I want to talk to anyone else that is horrible business they make it impossible to do.

Adam Kelly Allstate Insurance Agent
By far the worst agent I have had the displeasure of dealing with. What's the point of having an agent that will not return calls or emails. The most communication I received from Mr. Kelly was every month; I received an email reminding me it was time to pay my bill. The second most communication was after I emailed (because I could not reach anyone by phone) and told him to cancel my policy. As I expected, after the cancelation request, I got the royal treatment from Mr. Kelly and even received an email from Keanna Spohn wanting to review my policy. Where was this level of concern when I made phone calls and sent emails that were not returned? Lastly, the final request I made of Mr. Kelly was once the policy was canceled, he or someone in his office sent me a cancelation email. When I was a paying customer, I received no communication from Mr. Kelly not sure why I expected the requested cancelation email after I was no longer a PAYING customer. Back to the norm, I have yet to receive the cancelation email from Mr. Kelly.

terrible, terrible, terrible, terrible I have Allstate and was rear ended. They have been so bad - with the body shop, the coverage, the rental car, and the customer service - that I'm canceling my home and all 3 car insurances with them. I'm stunned they would lose a 20 year customer over a minor rear end collision, however, their refusal to actually fix them car instead of just bang it out with a hammer is staggering. I'm done with this terrible, terrible, terrible company.

My daugthers frozen water pipe claim occurred 12/26/2022.Allstate has done nothing, the worst claim service I've witnessed,all they do is keep assigning new adjusters instead of handling a claim professionally. Absolute the worst customer claims service imaginable. will be filing a department of insurance COMPLANT. My daughter & her 2yr old daughter have been placed out of there home since 12/26/22, Allstate could care less, most awful claims experience.

They are the worst hands to be in and our blood leechers like any other insurance company. In my case they agree the roof is damaged due to wind and hail but won't cover the leak cause it is not a whole kind of thing where the water has flown inside, they agree the roof leaked water in to the house and damage caused but won't agree to pay the damage as it didn't happen like a big hole where the water is pouring. Which is ridiculous explanation I have heard.

I was searching for another insurance company to go with aside from Progressive. Called Allstate 3 times to get info on policy questions and 3 female reps I spoke with back to back in the same day were rude and nasty. Horrible attitudes! Even called to report that to a supervisor and that person's attitude was just as uncaring and nonchalant. If that's the kind of service I can expect them you won't get a dime of my money. No thanks!!

Won't pay total for vehicle repairs!
Was told that they would not cover all the charges by the shop for my auto repair. Why have insurance if they won't pay for it? Disputed charges and only agreed to pay what they decided rather than shops determination. Does it say that in my contract? Is there a clause that they won't pay your insurance claims if they decide not to? Doubtful. Next closest place that is authorized to perform the repairs is about 150 miles away! Didn't tell me until car was torn apart for repairs that they wouldn't pay all the charges. Bad company doing bad business. Even told me the shop should have let me know that they wouldn't pay! WHAT? It isn't the shops job to tell me that I have selected the wrong company. Allstate should have told me that before I signed up with them! I will not be renewing my contract with them.
