My business transactions smooth and efficient.
I have been using Chase's application for my business needs, and I must commend its speed and reliability. The app consistently performs without glitches or errors, making my business transactions smooth and efficient. However, one area that could use improvement is the online customer support via their website. It falls short of expectations and leaves much to be desired. A more responsive and helpful support team would significantly enhance the overall experience. In conclusion, while the application itself is top-notch for business use, the bank could invest in better online support to cater to its customers' needs more effectively.

Do not go for mortgage shopping.
I went chase for mortgage because I have been a customer for 13 years. And they offer $5000 closing cost for first-time home buyer but that was fake. Chase has stupid requirements. I got approved from Stride at same conditions, but chase did not. Their mortgage officer asking for your docs. and other forever. They gave me hard time. Do not go for mortgage shopping. Chase mortgage officer steals your $500 for processing at front and chase denied your loan, will not get back that $500 at any cost. Better to go to other mortgage banks. They will process free and easy. Stride is a piece of cake to get approve. I am going to close my accounts ASAP. And I will not recommend any friends and family.

Tons of 1 star reviews..don't use Chase.
They SENT ME, yes, they sent me an application in the mail for a business credit card. I filled it out and then they flagged me for identity theft and denied me because I could not tell them an Address I lived at when I was like 12 years old. I told them all my other address' but that wasn't good enough. So I called them and they said I had to go to a Chase location to do a face to face application. The closest one to me is 2 hours...I would not recommend even bothering with these morons. Total waste of time. Not to mention the time it takes for them to process your application can take up to 30 days. Normally when people apply for a card, they want it now. Not a month later. Also from my personal experience with other companies I've been approved on the spot and was able to make purchases instantly. Who would want to wait that long?

An account with JPMCB was delinquent in…
An account with JPMCB was delinquent in 2017 and listed as charged off in 08/2018. The account has remained in that status since. JPMCB contacted all 3 bureaus and has the account updated to reflect closed as of 09/2023. This action caused my credit score to drop by more than 40 points. I have successfully disputed this with Transunion but Experian and Equifax will not correct the error. I am not disputing the debt but the information about when the account was charged off is incorrect and multiple credit reports generated prior to Sept 2023 will show the first delinquency and the original charge off date. Per the company, an investigation into the matter found that the account was - reported your account as charged off on August 31, 2017, with a $4,784.39 balance… while the investigation findings aligned with my records, they continue to report the charge off date incorrectly. The bureaus say that the error is on JPMCB side, but they refuse to fix the problem.

Poor customer service. They don't tell you what dept you should be speaking with they just say No. I was trying to get something accomplished and they just made it harder than necessary as they never told me who to call. Pitiful. This is not new obviously by the coments.

Chase is totally unreliable
Chase is totally unreliable. There is no reported problem with my account, my card and there is more than enough money in the account to cover the payment I wanted to make to AT&T. Denied. Twice. If I'm lucky, I'll get a response from a bot to my "Secure Message". If there is a bank and customer service worse than Chase, I haven't found it - thankfully. If I could give it a "no star" review, I would.

Dispute refusal!!
I wanted to stop a payment to Gardens Animal Hospital because I believe that my cat was abused under their care. I was informed by the Hospital that the insurance company will get in touch with me and until then I wanted to dispute the amount. I couldn't believe when the Chase representative replied since service was performed l am responsible to pay the bill. I am still affected by the negligent service and her reply was another stab into my heart. I am also having to deal with negligent and rude service online.

Stick to Credit Unions
This was the WORSE bank change I could have ever made. They’re VERY slow and the friendliness is SO fake and phony! Reps seemed very inexperienced. Save yourself the trouble and stick with CREDIT UNIONS. If only I known then what I know now, I would have NEVER stepped in Chase Bank. Save yourself the headache cause they’re nothing but a waste of time!!!

Chase use of Eclaimsline as a vendor
Actually, I like my Chase Sapphire Reserve Card very much, BUT shame on Chase for using a vendor like eclaimsline.com (Card Benefit Services) for travel insurance under the card. Worthless to me, and after reading reviews and articles about eclaimlines I am surprised Chase would do business with them.

Chase Bank Savings & checking not worth it!
Opened savings & checking accounts for a bonus. Link external accounts successfully. Transferred money ACH to chase to fund accounts but was rejected by Chase fraud department. Spoke with their fraud employees who were rude & unhelpful. They were clueless & said they don’t do external ACH transfers. After getting the run around & inability to talk to a supervisor, I closed both accounts.

Chase Travel is horrible
Chase Travel is horrible. I booked a higher rate resort room through them for the view (ocean). I had to call Chase on the day of my travel to make sure that I have a room, got to the resort and was given a room with the view of the parking lot and a sliver of an ocean view. I was told by the resort front desk that that is what Chase Travel booked. Resort was willing to put me in the ocean view room but was unable to because they were full. Stayed in the parking lot view room the whole time. I contested the higher charge amount with Chase but was not able to get a credit because Chase Travel can overcharge you and supposedly it's in their terms of agreement. But if they overpaid for your stay, you have to pay them. If they overcharge, it is okay for them to keep your money. It does not matter whether you get the room that you paid for or not. Sounds like a great money scam.

It seems that no one has the authority…
It seems that no one has the authority to correct a problem. I closed a credit card account six years ago, and somehow a charge went through one year ago, and they sent it to a collection agency. Somehow, this is my fault. Ugh! As of this writing, and around four hours of phone time, it has not been corrected yet.

Don’t put your money here
Don’t put your money here! Up until this year I haven’t had an issue. I began depositing online for my personal convenience. My payroll checks that go in weekly began to be held. At first it was fine. Wait a day it’s ok. Well on week…two weeks ago we had a hurricane. I needed to get some supplies. In an effort to multitask I deposited online. I was frantic when the whole $500 was held. I called to CS line to be told my check was paper. It didn’t hold any value and was accused of committing fraud. I was flabbergasted. It took 2 hours on the phone to speak to someone. And now….they held $110 check from my company again. Saying they gotta research it! The company’s been in business for 25 years, same weekly check….they are paying games with people money. And I’m gonna copy and paste this all over social media

I have been banking with Chase for 2 years now. Had a lot of savings in there. Not until 13th March, when I traveled to LA and my credit card wasn’t working. I contacted customer service they didn’t help. When I got back home I tried to make payment with my app and my account was frozen. I had this problem for 5 months. In the end all my problem was resolved and my account was activated by this guy on my title. the only good finance director of chase.

Loyal customer for 20+ years
I've been a loyal member for almost 20 years. Customer service is bad in ALL banks, no matter where you have an account. But nothing can be done in person at Chase bank, everything is outsourced & you have to call customer service outside the US, good luck finding someone who speaks clear English & can understand & explain your account. This is not an attack on any race or ethnicity, it's a fact and an issue everyone I know talks about. They have had my last name spelled incorrectly for years & no one was able to fix or say anything until recently. But now I know who has been selling my private information to third parties, because the spam & mail I constantly receive has the incorrect misspelled name. After going to a branch to change my password, I wasn't able to login afterwards. Coincidence. My card was declined for no reason/explanation, but no phone calls were made to me as a warning, branch just said possible fraud but nothing else. Inside job? Unbelievable how banks know the very last detail about you & all your information, but can't give you any information about your account when you ask, my card was used years ago in a different state at a doctors office of all places. A branch employee said I had NEW cards coming in the mail, although she couldn't say anything else about that, that was over a month ago, & still I haven't received nothing, no new cards. I wonder who, when & where the new cards were applied, because it certainly was not me. I hate being penalized or getting a penalty fee for Chase's mistakes and incompetence, never late in payments, pay more than need to, don't bother anyone. Good luck trying to get an appointment. I am currently looking towards another bank. Chase doesn't give rewards, just takes money and hasn't really been helpful in years. Done with them.

I filed a claim against a retailer who double charged me on two transactions. The money was credited back after I I called the retailer and they denied such action. Chase turned around and reversed my claim because the retailer stated they issued a refund. But it does not reflect on my account the refund was issued. By the retailer. The rep kept insisting that is was there even though it is not showing on my end. I asked for her to send proof of the refund and was told no I have to take her word for it. What a joke. So I asked if there is a system issue because if the rep can see the money on her end but I cannot see it on my end there is a major problem. She stated no. OK so chase you have a problem.

For the 3rd time in two months
For the 3rd time in two months, I have a fraudulent charge and they are sending me a new credit card. I truly wonder about their security system. Far worse, is how challenging they make it to talk to real person. It is as if they want to avoid talking to you at all. It is frustrating that all corporate banks and most banks have similar problems and really no longer care about customers. They just say they do! I just wish there was ONE RELIABLE bank with great customer service somewhere out there. I guess I would have to be very rich to get that great customer care.

Chase won't accept a payment for a week!?!
We charged a vacation trip to Overseas Adventure Travel on AUG 26. Since it was a large amount (over $22,000), we made a payment of $32,000 to our Visa card to cover it, plus other charges, on AUG 27 (the very next day). We were therefore surprised to be told at a restaurant on AUG 28 that our card had been declined. We called Chase today (AUG 29) to find out what the problem was and were shocked to be told that our payment wouldn't be accepted until SEP 2 and we can't use our credit card until then. WHY would this be the case? We would never expect that a credit card company would not accept a PAYMENT (an EARLY PAYMENT) for nearly a week and that our credit card usage would be frozen during that period. This is NOT reasonable customer service and we would like an explanation and resolution to this matter ASAP. This makes us question whether we should continue with a Chase card.

The money never arrives destination account, and I have called Chase many times to start investigation. I deposited a large bank tellers check from a credit union into a Chase savings account. I was very angry when I found out that it would not be available till 9/1. Meanwhile, I deposited it on the 23rd. What gives them the right to hold on to my money that long . It’s a very unfair and illogical system they have on that . I needed some of the funds for an emergency and still they would not release . They are not a customer friendly bank . Soon as my check clears I will withdraw every penny from them and go to a more customer friendly bank . Pull all your accounts and Do Not Bank With Them!!!!

Chase dispute department customer service reps and supervisors lied to me outright and washed their hands off the transaction after about five weeks. After over 10 phone calls, misinformation, inaccurate updates, and blatant lying they told me nothing could be done since the it was too late reopen a dispute. All around terrible choice to use them
I established my first relationship with chase with an Amazon card 6-7 years ago. It was fine until I opened a business account with them. Awful communication, terrible customer service (they don’t properly train or inform people, they all give different answers) my business account was locked for suspected fraud within the first week of having it, the people at the branch in person couldn’t help me or understand what was going on. They are now holding a huge amount of money even though it left my bank account for a week with no communication. I had to call to find out. They keep saying it’s for the safety and security of my account. That’s strange- don’t you think I should be notified of a “safety and security” concern? I’m taking my business account elsewhere and closing my cards. Awful.

AN UTTER MESS
Having been a loyal chase customer for over 15 years, to say that I’m disappointed by the service provided though their travel department is an understatement! Booked my air travels using Chase rewards, had to cancel my trip due to personal reasons. They issued a travel credit to be used from by the anniversary of when the trip was booked (mind you, I booked it at least 5 months in advance which means I lost 5 months in having to rebook). I called early afternoon and spoke to an agent whose accent was so think, I barely understood and had to ask for her to repeat herself at least 10 times. While I’ve done my research prior to the call and knew exactly which flight (airline/flight #/fare) I wanted to be rebooked on, the agent put me on hold as there was “system issues” pulling up this, that, the other. She changed the amount of my credit 3x as there were “errors” in the system. After waiting for 50 minutes, completely out of patience I asked for a supervisor named “Arnold”, he got on the phone and again put me on hold several times to “check”, another 30 minutes later he responded and said he will be able to rebook my flight and the fare is less than my credit, HOWEVER the amount left over will be forfeited AND there is an additional $100 change fee which will be charged to me! I was furious to learn that I basically will be flushing down the toilet the amount of my travel credit balance on top of paying additional change fee. He said he would speak with the airlines to see if they could apply the credits toward the change fee and will take about an hour to do so. I asked him to call me back afterwards and surprise, surprise….never heard from him again! So I had to call back and spent another 45 minutes to have my trip rebooked, which isn’t an option on their portal using a travel credit to rebook…I felt like I was back in 1993! Be warned from this story, stay far far away from booking any travels using reward points unless you are 100% certain plans will not be changed! NEVER AGAIN!!

Horrible customer service!
Horrible customer service!! A representative reached out to me about a zelle sent on my account that looked suspicious. I explained that i had made a mistake inputting the information. At that time the funds were still in my account (zelle takes seconds to process) 10-15 minutes after verifying my information i was told that the transaction would not go through. 15 minutes AFTER the phone call, the funds are pulled from my account. I was then told an investigation would be in order. I call back after 7 days to get an update only to be told my funds will not be refunded AFTER someone from Fraud called me and assured me verbally that my funds would be. So now I'm out $350. I will be closing my account EXPEDITIOUSLY! I can't do business with a company that lies and steals money

No reason. get over it.
Initiated an ACH payment to an employee for $42,100 on August 13 to take place on August 14. His account is also with Chase. It didn’t go through, so I went to the Chase branch. After answering several questions to Gavin I was told the transaction was “verified and approved. The funds were released, and the transaction would take place within Monday night and Tuesday morning”. Those funds were destined to pay this employee’s tuition, which was due on August 15. The transfer didn’t take place on Tuesday. I couldn’t leave work, so I started my endless phone adventure. I talked to Mark, who again, after asking me all the verification questions, told me the transaction was verified and approved and the funds were being released that same day. On Wednesday, again from my office because I couldn’t leave work, called Chase because the funds had not been transferred. Talked to Logan. Again, went through the verification and approval process and was promised my money was being transferred. No last name or phone number to call them back because they are not authorized to do that. I asked to talk to a supervisor. Not easy to accomplish. Eventually talked to Clifford. He said my money was on its way. He agreed he would call me at the end of business hours to confirm the transfer went through. I had explained to each of these people, from my first visit to the branch, the urgency to transfer that money to the point that if there were any problems with my business account I would, as a last resort, send the money from my personal account and then deal with the tax issues that would arise. Was told it wasn’t necessary. By the end of ET business hours, the website showed “processing”, so I called again. Talked to Wanda. She said everything was alright and the money was being transferred. Explained to me that the end of banking business hours is 11 PM, ET, so the money would be transferred by then. After 11 PM, ET, my account showed the transfer had been canceled due to insufficient funding. That account had had over $50,000 for the last two weeks, so I didn’t understand why it couldn’t transfer $42,100. I decided then to try a different way to transfer the money. I sent a wire from that same account. On Thursday morning, my account showed “being processed”. I didn’t believe it, so I took time off from work to go again to the branch. The manager was absent, so I talked to a banker. After reviewing her computer for a while, could not explain what happened and told me to go because it looked like the wire was going through. I told her that wasn’t enough. I needed to know why I have no way to trust MY money was going to where I was sending it in a timely manner. I explained that although I was being very courteous, I was extremely upset and demanded a response. By now, my payment was overdue. I had told my employee and, he told his school “The money is being transferred as we speak” Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Who would believe we were being truthful when you are talking about a domestic transfer between two accounts of the same bank? I am a foreign-born American citizen, with a strong accent. Was all that unsuccessful “verification” and disregard for my sense of urgency due to my accent? What do you think the people hearing me say “the money is on its way” thought? I was directed to a different employee. She talked to several people. Eventually, she said “the wire went through. We have no explanation to what happened”. Basically “your money was transferred (three days later through MY changing strategies, not theirs), get over it.” I read several complaints against Chase in the BBB page. Chase’s response is something like “we have already responded to the customer in letter on such date”. I can tell you right now: Today I received an email from Chase saying the wire went through. Far from relieving the pain they caused.

Changes made to my primary accounts without Authorization.
I am frustrated & tired of Chase. I have my accounts here & as safety measure I have my daughter on the account. BUT I AM the PRIMARY owner on these 2 accounts. My daughter changes her acct. to paperless so in turn, Chase automatically changes my acct. to paperless! I have notified them numerous times: I am the primary & since I am PRIMARY acct. owner, @ least on my checking & savings, DO NOT make my 2 accounts paperless!!!! BUT the changes still occur. There should be a way for them to segregate my primary accounts separate from hers. I may even report to FTC as my demands are NOT being respected.

My experience with chase so far is…
My experience with chase so far is horrible. On 8/11 I deposited my check into chase bank. The check cleared my former bank the same day. On 8/14 the money isn't in my chase checking account. I call chase and a supervisor says that the money is not available because my former bank hasn't verify that the money has cleared the account. I make a three way call, get verbal verification that the check cleared the account, and chase still denied to release the hold on my account. Beware of this bank.

Credit card credit balance refund
On 8/11 I contacted Chase customer service to request a refund for a credit balance. He said I would receive a email with a link to put in my routing and account number. On 8/12 I called back to check on the email and this rep told me it could be 24 hours before I receive it. On 8/13 I called again only to be told they were going to send a check and it could take 7 to 10 working days to receive the check. Chase has outright lied to me. Poor customer service! I will cancel my Card which I have had over 20 years. Beware of this company. Phil King

I do my bills pay on line and recently…
I do my bills pay on line and recently more and more checks don't get to recipients at all, they usually put a stop payment on the check so I can make another payment on line. Today 3 people from call center in India dropped my calls and 4th person by the name of Dean Telibin did not know what to do he kept saying to wait for the payment to get to recipient because Chase bank sent that check and there is nothing he could do, I asked to transfer me to USA and supervisor, he said supervisor will tell me the same thing, finally after over 30 minutes for me being on the phone, Kathy supervisor understood that it is 10 days late and put a stop payment on the check Chase issued so I can make a payment to my recipient. Very poor customer service from call centers in India, or god knows where, people are not properly trained and don't know what they are doing or how to help a customer.

Whilst Chase have an excellent app their apporach to payment authourisation is frustrating, time consuming, insulting and bureacratic. It involves telephone callback (not always convenient) and lots of irrelevant and at times intrusive questions and then being put on hold which multiple times - it took over 20 minutes to authorise a payment to my own investment account!! It ends with being read a statement for Chase to then indemnify themselves from any comeback.

Don't go to this bank
Don't go to this bank, very poor customer service, I opened an account and deposit a check, told me there is a hold but hold release on 8/10/23, but on 8/10, fund still on hold, called and spoke to account manager Tina, she has totally no help, said, it should be available tomorrow, if not just keep calling, bad attitude and try to blame the check issue bank while the other bank report check already cleared. chase has no customer services. as soon as the fund can be transferred out, I am out of this horrible bank, however, how to get my fund to be able to out of the hold, another 10 phone calls and hold for 40 min each time may be down the road. I just want people to know what are they going to expected on this bank and how bad they are employee is. For something simple just to say, that I will check and made sure your fund release on time.

Disgusted have Chase for a car loan and…
Disgusted have Chase for a car loan and was told I have a 10day grace period. I paid more than half of what was due and had to wait to get paid again and as soon as I did made the payment. They decided to not only double my payment but not give the grace period due to something out of control and on my Birthday no less. I have a perfect payment record and they aren't even willing to fix it but instead say it's late even though I paid it exactly on that last grace day. Also keep paying them and the payment doesn't even go down so makes me wonder what they are doing with the payments because every time I check the amount due is still the same. This isn't a trustworthy or honest company and they don't keep their word.

Disappointed and ready to close account
I've been banking with Chase for some time. I've had previous issues with their business accounts and switched banks, but never had an issue with personal checking or savings. I called customer service yesterday because of fraudulent charges on my account, which I've done before without any problems, and this time they canceled my debit (to be expected) but also locked me out of online banking. I went to make a transaction today, couldn't get in, and called immediately. They made me replace my current user name and password, but I'm still locked out and they aren't refunding the fraudulent charges! That's a first for me and I'm disgusted. So basically they are holding my money hostage for an unknown amount of time and there's nothing I can do. They never notified me either. I would suggest banking with a smaller bank or credit union. When the banks can hold your money hostage, it's a problem.

I open my account with Chase in 2017
I open my account with Chase in 2017. I haven't had any problems until now. I got scammed and I reported it immediately. I wasn't compromised, however they restricted my account, and holding my money hostage. The $500 was paid back. Chase decided the close my account and not allow me to bank with them ever again. They tell me they have a reason but won't tell me. I'm positive that I'm not the only Chase bank customer that's got scammed. They all are lies, one person will tell you one thing, then another person will tell you other thing and so on. I have a government check that the SSI office said is at the bank, the bank tells me no. I told them they are lying because I believe the SSI lady. She said it's there. They told me that my payroll check was being sent back, they lied, they accepted my direct deposit from my job and took out they $500. So now I have to pay my job back that money since they wrote me another check. So again they closed my account and is holding my government check hostages. I DO NOT RECOMMEN ANYONE BANKING WITH CHASE. Fortunately, I've found a better place to bank with.

Simply Terrible
We are moving all personal, and company accounts away from Chase after many years of being loyal to them. This is not an easy process since they are like the Mafia. They are simply terrible. 100% of my wire transfer requests get held up, resulting in hours on the phone, and I usually give up and have to drive to a branch where they have to call someone in another country and make me wait. It's the most inefficient, unpleasant, and dissonant bank I know, and I have accounts at over ten banks because of my job. It's too bad because I have been a customer since they were "Bank One." I get a new "customer relationship" manager, it seems, every six months, and they are normally very young and have no authority to do anything more than be an automated telephonic attendant. No "relationships" are built, for sure. The online presence and tools, when they work, are top-notch. Their customer service is the worst I have seen, and I want a banking relationship that works, is efficient and doesn't cost me time in my day to do routine things with my money.

Poor service
Had a Chase account for just under a year, no issues. I asked them to carry out a switch for me (I wanted to close my old account with another bank), and I was informed that the process would take up to 7 days. It certainly did. However, at the end of that month, I was contacted by companies, I had direct debit with, demanding payments for their services. I immediately contacted Chase, I was informed that this should not have happened and it would be corrected asap - no result. I had to call my suppliers and make card payments. I contacted Chase 3 more times, I got a different answer to my issue every time I contacted them. On one occasion, I was informed that DD would not be paid until the following month - this is not a switch guarantee service. If I had been informed about this, I would have taken a different approach. I have a standing order paid to me monthly - no payment. I contacted Switch Guarantee regarding the issue. Chase should not be allowed to advertise services (using a respectable company) they can not deliver.

Serious flaw as yet unresolved
I have a Chase card and so my only experience is of a 'top up as you go' debit card account. Customer service via the app has always been one of a super fast response; attentive & respectful and the resulting dialogue most usually resolves my issue. However, after a whole evening trying to get my card to accept 'contactless' transactions while the app states clearly that the freeze is switched off and only online transactions remain frozen, I come to realise - at the very end of a very long evening of having been sent various rather ill-fitting template text messages - that one has to then go to another section entirely to opt for 'unfreeze' for a second time. I have used debit and credit cards for over 40 years. (Look much younger.) From Amex to Diners to various other Mastercards and to Visa.. never have I had to 'discover' - since the phenomenon of 'freezing/unfreezing' cards first existed - that when one is advised either required option is confirmed as either active or inactive, it is in fact utter nonsense and one needs to then go some place else to give the self-same instruction. This, in my view, is ridiculous. And, in situ, the shop queue you are in as your card is declined for no good reason or, at the pub bar... embarrassingly unprofessional. After some thought, I decided to formalise my complaint with Chase, alongside positive suggestions for what I consider a simple fix. (In short, do what all the others do.) I will update in due course.. .. yes, even if JP Morgan decides to 'de-bank' me for daring to have a view that may not suit their own purposes .. and, it's a letter to Nigel if they do.. but they know that already. I told them so! This apart, I would otherwise rate Chase at 4 or 5 stars. I am fairly sure there will ultimately be a happy ending and by that I mean that they will tweak their app so as to state one's card status honestly and accurately without any need for confusing and ambiguous duplication of procedure. After all.. it's not rocket salad! I look forward to JP's reply here also. This can't be a first for them.

Their customer service is terrible. I needed to do a chargeback and after spending a bunch of time doing the paperwork and talking with them on the phone, they just put in a random reason code for the chargeback that had nothing to do with the case and was completely inaccurate. They are telling me I need to completely redo all the paperwork again to get them try the chargeback again. I've been banking wit them for over 10 years. This is my first time doing a chargeback and needing their customer support in any significant way, and they clearly have no interest at all in helping.

If I could give it zero I would
If I could give it zero I would. Opened charge card years ago and paid it off with setting up direct withdrawal from checking account. Oh yes. They withdrew even after it was paid off. I never reapplied for another card through CHASE. BUT somehow an account was opened??Raising my credit limit by 10 fold. I have poor credit and a huge sum was take from me. If I were to apply to a honest credit Company, I would have NOT been approved for this large sum. I have been battling this for 6 months and they are still holding me responsible. Now they refuse to take my call even when my call went to another staff member. She spotted her sitting at her desk. My case worker was sitting at her desk - said she would call back with an half hr. No return calls. I call daily , sometimes several times a day to talk to my case work that obviously refuses to call me back. This is not right - stealing from the elderly. Warning; please do not deal with Chase.

Speak Fluent English
What a mess. I struggle to understand what their people say. I want a fluent English speaking person to answer my calls. The wait time to talk with someone is extremely long. Then the person your talking to you cannot understand. They stopped a Zelle transfer. I called to ask why. The first 20 min wait. I was told it was fixed and three hours later that was a lie. I call again and once more a bunch of people who cannot speak English telling me my problem is fixed but won't tell me how long my recipient is suppose to wait. This is wrong what Chase is doing and I am leaving them first thing Monday morning. There are Americans that could use a job and they speak ENGLISH! SAD BANK!

Chase Bank is horrible and customer…
Chase Bank is horrible and customer service is unkind and even less helpful Chase has not and will not give me the bonus that was offered for opening a new checking account with them. I did what was required to receive the bonus. My payroll check has been direct deposited into my new Chase checking account since June. I opened the account on June 5th, but Chase Bank says that it looks like a transfer of funds not a direct deposit from payroll. Customer service offered no help with this. When I asked what to do and commented that this makes no sense to me I felt like I was being scammed I was told rudely that the bank and my employer should know what to do and that Chase would not be giving me the bonus until I do it. Chase is not honest about the bonuses that they offer. I was not offered any help, when I did what was asked of me. So if someone is reading this don't believe Chase with their bonus offers for doing business with them you will not receive the bonus and they will not help you at all

Ineffective while resolving issues
I previously received an alert for my account, and calling customer service couldn't resolve my issues. So I went to the branch and spent the whole hour there, and in the end, the banker told me everything was ok. Little did I know I had another alert about a month later while I was on vacation abroad. My account was instantly frozen and if I don't resolve this on time, my account will be closed while I am still placing significant funds in it. This change affected a few payments to my business partners. And it's not ending there because I am abroad and I will not be able to get the closing check quickly ( importantly, this issue is critical to a business account, which means my funds will be locked for no reason for a couple of weeks ). Updated : I feel I am so lucky to finally get a Chase bank from Bellevue branch helped me who patiently helped me resolved my issue ( remotely ). And such patient, professional, dedicated individual is not as common these days. So I decided to come back and add a start to this review. My recommendation to work with Chase on the banking service is to go to branch / or calling the branch to resolve the issue.

Truly one of the worst banks I’ve unfortunately banked with, I had nothing but headache with them. Their credits are a trap, so I decided to bank somewhere else. You know what they did? I had great credit score, one of my credits with them had 14 dollars that I wasn’t aware of and didn’t check since I lost my online access, a few days passed due the reported it and destroyed my clean credit history, then they called and simply said hey you credit is pass dude you wanna pay on the phone!…. Like who reports that quick and then calls ! Like seriously how bad do you have to be to do this to people! How hard was it to call nicer reporting !!! Thank you chase ! I hope all who read this learn from my lesson and bank somewhere else.

Holding an easily verifiable check for 10 days!
I have been a long time chase bank customer for years. I recently was paid by a local law office from a trust acct for 50K. I went to deposit the check and the teller was nice and told me there would be a hold for a few days. Then the next morning I receive a notice from Chase that it will actually be 10 days hold! As a woman of color this is making me suspicious especially when the first few search results about this issue showed other POC dealing with the same issue. I can understand if I was a new customer or if the check was from an unknown business. But it is from a verifiable LOCAL law firm! There is no excuse for a 10 day hold! HOLD REASON: The information we have indicates the deposited check(s) may not be paid.

I'm a Chase Bank customer
I'm a Chase Bank customer. Have been for a while .I left and came back. But my problem with is that my employer banks with chase I Bank with chase therefore why would you want to hold my Check even if overnight . They call it a review of the check. It comes from the same employer week after week. One week they may hold it overnight then maybe Four weeks they won't then they do it again. I am sorry but that is b s. There is no way you're going to convince me that that is what they're doing. This is not the way to treat your customers by holding their money for no apparent reason. I had to spend the night in a walmart parking lot With no water, no food and no gas, Friday night But not Chase they rather hold my money for one night. Since I live paycheck to paycheck right now this is not helping me .now I have to go in the bank every Friday to cash my check to deposit so I can have access to my money . I call customer service to get some answers but get lip service. Not happy about that at all. They offer no help . Maybe if I had a lot of money they would pay more attention to me. I like alot of things about chase but not holding my money when my paycheck is wrote on their bank. I'll never understand that.o just want access to my money in a timely manner.

I am truly unhappy with online banking
I am truly unhappy with online banking. Someone sent an unauthorized Zelle payment and chase is unable to retract/return this payment. If my money is invested it should be protected. Chase investigated and stated I sent the money. This was not the case, Zelle has only been used for friends and family and I would have not sent any funds to a random person. YET it happened and I am not protected. I will not be banking with chase any more.

I would give it ZERO stars if I could. They held a check that they considered might be Fraud. Okay fine hold the check, but not only did they hold the check they froze my entire account. I had a lot of money in the account that I could only access if I went into the branch. During this time my credit card payment did not go through and I had a couple bounced checks. I called several times. They had everything on HOLD for two weeks. When I finally got someone who knew what they were doing they said it was because my middle initial was not on the check!!! So he cleared the check and unlocked my account. This could have been on day one if someone would have just paid attention and figured it out. Chase Bank sucks. Decline every charge.
Where to begin? I have been a customer of chase Bank credit cards for over 20 years. I have 3 Chase credit cards, one being an Amazon Prime card. This week every time I tried to use a Chase card the charges were declined by the bank. (2 of the three cards) Today is Prime day and when I logged in to see the tracking for the items I'd ordered, I had to "Revise payment method". Finally I called Amazon and asked what was happening? Chase declining your charges. So I call Chase (for the 10th time this week) and learn there was a fraudulent charge for the amount of $262 for "government services" from a company in Denmark First I am hearing of this. Happened July 5th. So they just shut my card down and declined all charges. Thanks for letting me know, great timing, what a poorly run incompetent hopeless bank. Should have let them fail in 2008. This was the second time this week they declined charges, the other time I ordered a computer, different Chase card but also declined. What is the point of having a credit card if they decline every charge and don't even notify you? Today, with the Prime card, I learn this and customer service says *your card has been compromised". They are LYING. Their system has been hacked and they are refusing to admit it and blaming everyone else. I have only had the prime card for 3 months and ONLY use it for Amazon purchases. I have made very few purchases. It was not my card that was compromised it was Chase Bank that was compromised. The bank has moved their customer service to the Philippines, only companies that want to offer no service have call centers in the Philippines. STAY AWAY FROM CHASE BANK, BOTH BANKING AND CREDIT CARDS. It really has become a horrible company. 2 of my three cards keep getting declined. They have imbeciles they don't train or pay enough to care working in their "customer service" I loved the fact they are "expediting" my replacement Prime card overnight! However, Prime day ends at Midnight so tomorrow the prices go back up, I can't get the 6% discount for using the Prime card as Prime day will be over before the card is even sent. I have learned to despise Chase Bank. It started going down the drain many months ago when I got a Southwest Rewards card and filed a dispute against Booking.crap (.com) for a hotel booked where nothing worked, no AC or fans (I was in Oaxaca and it was extremely humid, the fans didn't work and the hotel was a total DUMP. Filthy, disgusting and poorly run.) I wanted a refund for a misrepresented scam run by this hotel. Southwest rewards is a "booking partner" with Booking com (think Chase is a ripoff try booking.com, 50 times worse.) Anyway, when I was informed I had "agreed to stay despite the lack of any working fans or AC, I accepted when I stayed. (It was 11 pm and there wasn't a Motel six open twenty four hours! It was Zipolite, where everything closes at 8 pm) In response I said "well, my annual fee for the Southwest Rapid Rewards card is $69 and I haven't spent the amount yet for the reward miles so just refund my annual fee and close the card. You have a glaring conflict of interest and I have interest in dealing with youe trash customer service again" That's how I got most of the $ back from Chase/Southwest Rapid Rewards for that garbage hotel room. Good riddance to chase Bank for the Southwest RR card. Sorry I didn't get rid of the other Chase cards then too. It has really changed the last year and my best advice is close your accounts and run like hell to a reputable bank as fast as you can. More fraud and theft from American banks.

The most sarcastic brutal customer service
I was told today that chase would not take any responsibility if someone break into your online banking account and stole your money if the stolen fund is no longer on the thief account. Chase has zero responsibility and it is you to absorb the loss. The same applies for all chase checks. This is from the lady at chase bank check fraud department! I asked her what is the point of deposit money with chase bank when it is unsafe and she said it is best to keep it to yourself! She also told me the policy keeps on changing. I cannot imagine chase to have chosen such a person to represent chase bank. It is even worsening to have this lady in the claim department! I can imagine nothing will get resolve. Chase might be thinking they are too big to fall and care none of their customers. You will learn when people start moving money out! Better run away from chase or else absorb the losses. They might be the one doing the fraudulent activities themselves!

Fraudulent charge on your debit card
I had a fraudulent charge on my debit card. Chase closed the card down in a heartbeat. It took over 3 weeks to get my new card. It happened again with my new card and I tried to talk to someone via their automated system about speeding up the process. When I FINALLY got to a prompt to talk to someone there was no answer. The most frustrating consumer experience I have ever had. DO NOT USE CHASE AS YOUR BANK. YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!

Disastrous business banking experience
I’ve been banking with Chase for almost 4 years and after this disastrous experience actively looking for a new bank. Went to the Chase at 28 Liberty Street where Khalid Kanhai assisted with opening my Business Checking and Credit Card. Both approved instantly and received the card shortly after. Then Chase decided to block access twice, canceled the account’s completely. No one knows why and I had to spend hours on the phone with their lousy customer service. My biggest learning is Chase outsource CS to India and Philippines and never again would I spend one second talking to these agents. They are useless robots who can’t fix problems. Somehow only when I speak to the US team I get anywhere. Anyways, it’s been 3 weeks since account opening and I still didn’t receive my credit card yet they have the audacity to charge the annual fee LOL. I had to delay key business transactions because of this and definitely lost trust in this company. Save your time and put your money elsewhere!

Card transactions decline frequently
Card transactions decline frequently, even with available credit. Actual balance is not updated daily. The balance versus the available credit are hardly ever proportional. Account closed without notice or warning, even if the account was current and was paid in full each monthly billing period. Hard to get a credit line increase, even with good credit. Anything through the biggest and largest financial institutions is not always the best. Chase Bank is said to be one of the hardest financial institutions with which to obtain credit. There are better credit cards available than Chase Freedom. To avoid any confusion, disappointment, or embarrassment, this particular credit card is not recommended.

Incompetent and dishonest customer service
Phone customer service is outsourced overseas. The customer service team is incompetent and poorly trained. When they don't know how to resolve your issue they lie to you. I know this because I just hang up and hope that I get someone with more experience on the next call. If I get someone who's competent they fix my issue.

Chase bank allowed an unauthorized…
Chase bank allowed an unauthorized person to access my account 25 times while I was unimpeachably indisposed. The thief stole almost $7000 from my account fraudulently. Chase not only accused me of being part of this crime, but did not punish the criminal nor return my money. They did however charge and keep a fee for each of the fraudulent ATM charges. Chase Bank is not trustworthy and will not protect you or your money. Run away. Bank of America is way better.
