Overview

Ranked #37 on the Fortune 500, Wells Fargo is a staple among American banks. It stands out for its 24/7 customer support, wide ATM coverage, and ever-expanding line of credit cards. The financial giant launched two new cards, the Active Cash and Reflect cards, in July and October of 2021, respectively. Each card offers a long, 21-month 0% intro APR period, while the Active Cash also comes with an unlimited 2% cashback reward rate.

Suitable for?

The Active Cash card is suitable for anyone who wants a simple rewards structure. It has no annual fee and unlimited 2% cashback on all purchases, making it one of the highest-earning flat-rate cashback cards on the market.

The Reflect card is great for those who want to take advantage of its unusually long 0% introductory APR period (21 months versus the more usual 12-18), either by making large purchases or initiating balance transfers. However, to enjoy the full 21 months, cardholders must make on-time minimum payments every month.

Additionally, both cards can be managed, locked, unlocked, and reported as lost or stolen via the bank’s handy mobile app (available for iOS and Android). Existing Wells Fargo account holders can link their credit card with their checking or savings accounts, unlocking access to convenient features like autopay and payment reminders.

Interest Rates and Fees

Wells Fargo’s Active Cash Card comes with a 15-month 0% intro APR period, after which cardholders are charged a regular rate of 14.99%, 19.99%, or 24.99% variable APR.

Meanwhile, the bank’s Reflect Card offers 0% intro APR for up to 21 months, including for balance transfers from another credit card. The Reflect’s regular rate is set between 12.99% to 24.99% variable APR, depending on an applicant’s creditworthiness.

Rewards & Cashback

In addition to the 0% introductory APR period and unlimited 2% flat rate cashback on all spending, the Active Cash card comes with a one-time $200 cash bonus for cardholders who spend at least $1,000 within the first 3 months.

The Reflect card’s welcome offer does not contain a cash bonus, but it offers the same long 0% intro APR period for purchases and balance transfers made within the first 120 days. This can be useful for those looking to consolidate and pay off their credit card debt as quickly as possible. Beyond that, however, the Reflect card carries no other rewards or perks.

The Application Process

Applying for a Wells Fargo credit card is straightforward and can be done online. If you’re an existing Wells Fargo customer, you can log into your account to autofill most required information. New customers will need to provide their legal name, Social Security number, date of birth, and country of citizenship. For security purposes, applicants must also include their mother’s maiden name.

Next, clients must enter their address, email address, and phone number. You’ll also need to provide financial information such as your current housing situation, monthly mortgage amount, and employment status. Afterward, you’ll be asked if you need to add authorized users. If so, you’re prompted to enter the necessary information. Finally, you’ll be directed to read and accept a series of disclosures.

While most approval and denial decisions can be made within minutes, applications selected for manual review may take 7-10 business days to process.

Help & Support

You can get assistance most easily by contacting Wells Fargo customer service via telephone 24/7. For inquiries about a credit card application, customers can call (800) 967-9521. Questions related to credit card account management can be directed to (800) 642-4720, while general questions should be routed to (800) 869-3557.

Clients can also meet 1:1 with a banker at any of the bank’s physical locations by scheduling an appointment online.

Security

Wells Fargo’s website is secured using the Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol, ensuring that all client information supplied to the site is kept confidential. The bank’s mobile app also features security features such as 2-factor authentication and biometric sign-in. Wells Fargo’s credit cards are likewise secured by the bank’s fraud guarantee, which covers any unauthorized transactions reported within 60 days of the activity occurring.

FAQ

How are applicants considered for a credit line increase?

Clients interested in an increase should call (800) 642-4720.

Can cards be added to mobile wallets?

Yes. Wells Fargo cards work with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay.

Do I need to use my PIN with my credit card?

Conclusion

Wells Fargo’s Active Cash and Reflect cards are Wells Fargo’s two newest offerings. With unlimited 2% cashback and a 21-month 0% intro APR period, respectively, both cards are tempting choices for any consumer looking to add a new card to their wallet.

Is this even a BANK?
Like others who have had a similar experience with Wells Fargo after moving overseas, this bank had the nerve to block me from accessing my money, after I requested a wire of mine and my husband's total sum of monies to our new account abroad. I have been with the bank for 7 years. Important notes: -The OCC (Office of the Comptroller of the Currency) -Customer Assistance Group (of the OCC) To make a long, long story short, they did this after I set up a travel plan (before leaving the U.S.) with WF's online banking feature to access my money for at least a month while in Euro territory. Doing so would ensure that I and my family had enough money to re-adjust our living situation and to provide for our needs until our Euro bank account where we wanted our US funds to be transferred to would be available. After a month abroad had passed, I consolidated my savings into the joint checking with WF and proceeded to the online wire feature. I wired the money as per the instructions and I received a confirmation/push notification of this and screenshotted the transaction. Later, I received an E-mail from WF stating that the wire was unsuccessful. This was due to a couple of items needing to clear. A WF rep assisted me in the 2nd wire attempt (of 15,137.47 USD) and even offered to update my address to my Euro one (even though I wanted to close our account with the bank after the Electronic Wire). Soon afterwards, my account was closing and the overview showed that I had $0 in all accounts! After I asked where my money had gone to, this is when the BLOCKING started. It was extremely and mentally painful for me. One rep unblocked me, but my money was gone and my online banking was set to the Spanish language. Why that? I have no idea. A representative told me that my money had been held and sent to some collection unit. Why? Just why? All of the $15,137.47 belonged to me and my family. Not a penny was owed to any collection, credit institution, or anyone else. Enter the phone tag games... I got transferred from one clueless rep to the other. I spent hours on the phone just trying to make sure that WF is not frauding me, as they accused me of having done. Every representative had a different story as to where my money had gone: "It's on its way to your (old) address in the mail," "It's on its way to the new address you have on file," "I don't know, ma'am...hold on for a couple more minutes while I talk to ______." My experience with WF reps was as follows: I got hung up on, was put on hold for an hour and had to hang up; and I was transferred to a hotline that had nothing to do with WF services. My husband and I were no strangers to our Euro bank Institution, and were able to get a credit of €3.000 to help cover our needs until WF would act right. In the meantime, I got a hold of a higher-up institution that would help me to resolve this matter with Wells Fargo. ****This is the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). WF claimed to have sent all of our money to our old address, where our property was sold to new owners. We tried contacting the owners to see if they had received a so-called check from WF in the mail. They had not. We did not even know these people. I was worried. I filed a report with the OCC on their website. Do not lose faith, because I feel that my case was taken with the utmost seriousness and handled in a way that a lawyer fighting on my behalf would have. This was a free service. I received confirmations, a case # and physical mail of a summation of action that was taken to resolve my case. After the OCC got involved, WF had a specialist E-mail me and consistently phone me (I had a Skype number), walking me through the process of receiving my funds via wire transfer. They waved the $45 fee (I'm assuming because of all the trouble they put me through). They confirmed that a check was never sent to the old address (!!). I can't even believe the lies that were told to me by these WF reps! They played games. Literally, ANYONE could become a WF banker/representative. Preferably, those willing to lie for the 'Big Man'. The funny thing is that, even though WF claimed that account holders overseas cannot bank with them and no checks can be sent abroad, they had changed my address to the Euro one, closed the account, and sent two checks to my current address abroad -- together totaling in $0.02! Yes, and in THAT order. Liar, liar, pants on fire. The Horror Story is FINISHED.

How many class action lawsuits does it take…
How many class action lawsuits does it take? Wells has been sued so many times for holding back payments in order to maximize returns and they continue to do so. I made three very large payments to my credit cards, all on the same day, within minutes of each other. They held on to one for 4 days longer than the others, then returned it for a $7 overage, due to timing on another deposit. Talked to a manger and he claimed they only do it in the order the merchant submitted. Well, Wells own time stamp shows it was presented for payment on 6/2. But they processed it on 6/6. And I get the total runaround. Nothing is going to stop this company from screwing its customers until they are shut down.

I had a terrible experience with this site
I had a terrible experience with this bank due to their nonsensical policies. The platform charged me for transactions that I didn't initiate, and despite raising my concern with the support team, they insisted that I go through several tedious processes before resolving the issue. Unfortunately, even after following the process, the problem was not fully resolved, and I continued to get charged, while the previous charges remained unrefunded. It was apparent to me that the platform did not have its customers' best interests at heart, and I could not continue to work with them. I decided to dissolve my portfolio with them and moved it to AsllC, which is more committed to serving its clients with quality, verifiable obligations.

I had my card information stolen and…
I had my card information stolen and got a fraud alert today notifying me of this. I called to file a claim. Today I learned a scan company obtained my card info and was withdrawing a small amount of money every month, 23.95 cents to be exact. I looked at my account historically and it’s been taken out for the past 12 months. Their fraud detection systems that are in place suck. I cancelled my card for a new replacement and called the number on the alert. The customer service rep was very rude telling me that since the initial transaction was over 60 days ago, there is nothing they can do. I take responsibility for not reviewing the charges in my account, but honestly the amount didn’t alert me and that’s my fault. But being a loyal customer for over 25 years having 5 paid off auto loans and a current home mortgage I would’ve expected them to help their customers of fraud a little more better but they don’t. We are just a number to them that was obvious speaking with their fraud rep today. The money amount total was 287.40, which isn’t a huge amount it’s not about the money, this is about their crappy fraud systems and poor fraud rep service. They need to help their customers it was a simple over-site and I told them that but they still treated me like crap and I will be moving my money to another financial institution. Don’t bank with Wells Fargo.

WELLS FARGO HUNG ME OUT TO DRY
I had my debit card stolen and subsequent fraudulent transactions in the amount of $242. I filed a claim and they refused to reverse the transaction, and I am now stuck with an overdraw, unable to buy food or gas. I have been told to wait until the claim is resolved even though it is obvious the transactions were fraudulent. I would advise to everyone with a WF to close their accounts ASAP and open a checking account at a bank that doesn't TURN THEIR BACK ON THEIR CUSTOMERS WHEN THEY ARE VICTIMS OF THEFT.

Rude and threatening phone call. from a personal banker at Wells Fargo fargoallpersonal banker banker he threatene
There was a fraudulent account against my Visa card at Wells Fargo Bank when I called and spoke to a banker they closed my account without my permission and blocked my card so that I could not get any access to my money until I got a new card in 10 days I am a senior citizen fixed income disability and I told them I did not want my card blocked they said they didn't have to tell me they were going to block my card it's for my protection.. so for my protection I can't get my $200 to get an Uber to go to a doctor to go to physical therapy and a follow-up with a neurologist. They told me that they're not allowed to tell me they're going to block my card.. if I had known that I wouldn't have filed the complaint. In my opinion that is elder abuse and financial abuse to a disabled woman on a fixed income there should be a rule at the bank that if they're going to block your card they need to tell you so you can decide if you want to proceed with the complaint. I'm distraught by this I don't have any family nearby and no one at the bank cared so I'm going to draw my funds out and have them put into the Farmers and merchants Bank where I will feel safe with my money and my personal well-being

credit card dispute nightmare
Why would I waste my time trying to help them improve? I disputed a charge from a retailer that violated several Federal and State labeling requirements by phone on May 5. I was told I had to file a paper form which I received on the 13th. I filled out the form, signed it, scanned it and sent back with exhausting documentation on the 16th. I called the Claims Assistance Center today and after being handed off from one agent to another before finally reaching Claims Assistance was asked the same questions I had answered in my email response. The claims Center only response to information provided by telephone and I had to repeat the material I had submitted by email once again. Why demand a hard copy claim if you ignore it 100%? Aside from being incompetent, their people appear to be arrogant and couldn't care less about the customers. Even the DMV would not hire them!

I give a -10
I give a -10. No one is on the same page of giving information; especially the auto check team. How is it that I have to basically come out of my pocket to get the damages done on my car before they would send me my check back to get repairs done. Then I’m told I’m not coming out of pocket. Someone tell me what company would allow you to drive off with your car after repairs have been done just to show a final bill showing paid? I have been dealing with this for over 3 weeks. I will be finding a new lien holder. People told WellsFargo is fraud and they suck at everything.

Absolutely NO Customer Loyalty
Absolutely NO customer loyalty! I have banked with WF since 1991 and have a complete relationship portfolio. I went in to open a 2nd business account and was refused because my husband was not present with me. I simply wanted to start the process and he would come in the next day to sign and they refused service. We have a perfect account profile with a substantial on deposit. They have a one size fit all approach to doing business and does not take into account your account history, relationship, customer longevity, and etc. Relationship is not important nor valued. NO customer loyalty and poor poor customer service! Which is probably why they are always being sued for poor prejudicial business practices! Needless to say. We are now moving!

Trying to make my first payment on a newly opened account via LeafFilter. Added all my banking credentials so I could make a payment and now I have to wait 1-3 business days for micro-transactions to process so they can verify my ACH payment is acceptable. Ridiculous jump through hoop for anything outside of currency withdraws. You already approved the money I have and we're going to play games when I try to pay you back.

Total incompetence & out of control…
This company is totally out of control with no checks and balances they sent me threatening letters regarding a change to my account which I followed their instructions went to the branch and supposedly took care of it. I received two additional letters of a threatening nature and finally I was told the matter was resolved. A week later they closed an account of mine which wasn't even the account they were sending the letters on I filed two formal complaints and got really nothing more than yes it didn't meet our standards but no accountability was ever taken and my account was never reopened. Now I just received a monthly service fee on my account which I've never received before with no explanation. I have been a 30-year Wells Fargo customer and I am now closing everything at this bank because they just don't care about their customers the sooner I can exit the better I had a good relationship until this past year but this just did it for me enough is enough there's plenty of other banks that will take my business

I opened up zelle online
I opened up zelle online. Immediately couldn’t access zelle. I’m not eligible for this service. I pay for childcare through zelle. That’s a form of receipt. I ended up with a broken foot. Couldn’t drive. Could barely walk. No debit card given onsite like most banks.I couldn’t zelle money to the people who were food shopping, etc. for me. At the bank I was told zelle would work in 24 hours. 36 hours same problem. 3 hours and I don’t know how many people from customer service. Each telling me something different. They have no idea how long until I have to wait. 3 days. A week. A month. A year—-all possibilities. I opened the accounts Monday and it’s only Tuesday. The day right after. Want yo go withdraw everything on Saturday but it looks like the branch is closed. Every bank I’ve had issued on site debit cards, absolutely no problems whatsoever with zelle, and Saturday hours from 1:00 or 2:00. Will be contacting payroll tomorrow to stop direct deposit and my other direct deposit. I cannot find a good bank.

THE WORST BANK!!
I have banked with Wells Fargo for years and I have had a handful of different cases where they have jerked me around or penalized me for their own system errors. To start: In 2021 alone they had to refund me $210 in overdraft fees that were randomly charged against my account. I would open the mobile app and see a $35 overdraft fee taken out of an account with a positive balance. The first time I spoke with them they resolved it. The next 5 times were not so lucky. I kept getting random overdraft fees and I would call them and ask them for a refund but they would tell me they could only refund a portion and give all these excuses as to why they can't refund it. After enough hassle they always refund the entire thing but there were a couple times were the overdraft fee ACTUALLY put my account in the negatives by a few bucks. The last time I called them to refund a mistaken overdraft fee, the lady told me that they will not be allowed to give me any more refunds going forward which is total BS considering their system is the one mistakenly charging my account. The last big issue I've had with them is they would lock and hold mobile deposited checks for up to two weeks!! They would allow the check to be deposited and the funds would hit my account then within 48 hours they would cancel and withdraw the deposit and hold it for "investigation" for up to two weeks. This has made me late on rent payments, car payments, insurance, etc. Then when I asked for them to refund the late fee's incurred from not being able to pay my bills they told me it wasn't their problem. Worst banking experience of my life.

I am/WAS a long time customer of Wells…
I am a long time customer of Wells Fargo (more than 25 years). I will be moving my banking and telling everyone of the awful experiences I have had with a scam involving my accounts with Wells Fargo. When I reported within 20 minutes of learning about my account being compromised, I was given a claim and case number. Was told no need to call local law enforcement - nothing they would do. I hear from the receiving bank the following day - they asked if I approved the transfer, of course I said "no." Four days pass, I am still without my funds. I called the receiving bank which stopped the transfer but would not release them to me as everything must go through my bank, Wells Fargo. After multiple calls to Wells Fargo fraud I get a call from them - the investigator basically calls me an idiot and says I will never get the funds. Was Told nothing they could do. I receive a form letter 6 days after the issue saying they closed their investigation. I call and ask to speak to a supervisor and the investigator hangs up on me. Local law enforcement was able to get the funds that Wells Fargo said were lost. End of Story: I am done with Wells Fargo! Do not trust them.

I can’t believe my own bank tried to…
I can’t believe my own bank tried to rob me and disrespected me so awfully. The lady i was on the phone with kept trying to convince me into making a late payment so she didn't have to help me. I was trying to make my payment 5 days early and she kept saying I should make the late payment because it was ok and they have a grace period. When I told her I didn’t want to pay late because even though there is no “late fee” they still charge you a fee for everyday you didn’t pay. When I told her I wasn’t interested in making a late payment she started arguing with me and getting very rude and calling me names. I don’t appreciate being argued with over the phone. I make all my payments on time, I’ve never missed a payment and I even try to pay every two weeks to reduce my balance and this is how they treat me. Next car purchase I will ask what bank because Wells Fargo is nice to you until your sign the pappers. Then they try to manipulate you and make the purchase more expensive and longer to pay off. I recommend bank of america so many people who have used that bank has had nothing but compliments from them

No help for cancer patients Had my charge acct with wells fargo for…
Had my charge acct with wells fargo for years never late never missed a payment. In May '22 I found out I had throat cancer. Tons of medical bills and having difficult time. Ask for help for 6 months with lower interest rate and was told they could only close the acct and give 1% interest and 5year pay off. Wasn't asking to close acct just lower interest for 6 stinking months. Only other option was pay the bill. I was late for the first time ever and they had no help for long time customer but close acct or pay up to date. Not sure they will even take off my 1st and only late fee ever. They are so sorry for what I am going through and hope everything goes well.... what a joke. If they cared so much why couldn't they help me. All I wanted was 6 months help to get back on my feet again. Sorry bank. Please people check out smaller local banks with more heart and who appreciate and want your business. DO NOT USE WELLS FARGO. I had already moved my checking acct to small hometown bank that has helped me more in 2 years than wells fargo did in over 8 years. Wells Fargo has a bad reputation and been fined for unethical doings in recent past and customer service is of no help at all.

We were held hostage and treated as criminals
Last Friday I was treated as a criminal when I brought a $2200 Carmax check to Woodland Hills, Topanga Canyon branch. I came on Uber from Carmax with my teenage daughter since I could barely walk after having a surgery. The clerks at this branch told me to stay inside the bank until they verify my check. I said it was fine and kept my Uber waiting for us. But 30 minutes later, they could not do their job verifying it and when I told my daughter to go to release our Uber ride, the bank manager said “Oh, she can’t go outside, because if she does, she won’t be able to get inside, we are locking the doors”. She added “ Nobody leaves until we verify the check” so we were held as hostages and criminals????!!!! I said “ you don’t have to give me cash, just deposit it and verify it as long as you want” , the manager got angrier and repeated “ I can’t deposit it until I verify and it might take awhile” After standing with crutches for 45 minutes at the counter, the manager finally said “ I can’t verify it, deposit it in ATM here” I was speechless, because that’s exactly what I told them to do. The next day I came back and my check wasn’t verified. They simply couldn’t ( or didn’t want to) to get ahold of anyone at Carmax and WF manager said that I had to wait 10 days to receive my funds!!!!!!!!! I don’t think so, mam,- so I called Carmax myself from the WF branch and was able to speak with financial manager there. I took her extension number and passed it to the bank manager and asked Carmax manager to explain the Wells Fargo manager that the check was good and that I didn’t steal it. The bank manager took the extension number, went to her office and came back with a smile “ I was able to verify it”. No wonder you were! Because I just did your job!!!!!!!!! So I had to do her job myself after being mistreated. customer service here is hideous, they act obnoxious, no mercy for their clientele, even though I have been WF client for quite a long time and deposited many checks from work, I was mistreated as a criminal. I came from Eastern Europe and this is the worst banking experience I have ever had in my whole life. This would never have happened there. These clerks and managers at this WF branch were unprofessional, vicious, not smart , didn’t care that I was in pain after surgery and they never even apologized to us. I am very disappointed. I used to love Wells Fargo. I have no desire to stay with Them anymore

Withdrawing ungodly amounts of money from my accounts
Everyday I have something taken out of my account, sending my balance into the negative. I jump through hoops to make the money back, transfer it to them, get back into the positive, then wake up the next day to something else being taken out. I broke even last night again, and joked with my wife saying “I wonder how much I’ll have in there tomorrow?” Well, I woke up today negative $844 in my checking account. I’m a disabled veteran and my military benefits aren’t helping me stay above water right now as it is. I called and they said it was a payment on my personal line of credit. My normal monthly payments run from $88-120 a month, so I asked why they thought it was a good idea to take $844 out of an account that only had $9 in it, especially in this economy, and was told they were legally able to do so cuz I’m enrolled in auto pay. Still not a clear answer as to why $844 was an automatic payment. I asked if she could fix it since it was still pending and she said no. I said “so it’s just bread and water for me and my 6 year old daughter for the next week then, huh?” Her response was “I guess so, sir. Thank you for calling Wells Fargo and have a great day!!” I immediately went down to a bank downtown and set up an account. There will be no more of my money being deposited into that bank. I’ll pay their $88 a month, but that’s all they’re getting from now on. They have no problem with ruining someone’s life, which is alarming, and I’ve been with them for over 25 years. Then I looked and they have a grade of F on the BBB website. I should have checked that YEARS ago.

Keep your money and do not use this bank!
Do not use this bank if you want to keep your money safe! Someone hacked my account, took money from me and the bank denied my claim and allowed this to happen stating I "could request a refund" from the person that stole the money. If I could get a refund from someone hacking my online banking account and using Zelle to steal money (I don't even have a Zelle account) I would have done so. I have not "lost a device" did not "give my information to anyone." And yet this person was able to steal most of my money in one day and Wells Fargo didn't think that giving most of my money in $100 increments in one day was weird? And in that same day tried to deposit 2 bogus checks!? Instead they basically said, "well it happened and we know about the scam but you get nothing back." I'm going back to my local bank as they take more care in their customers than this sham of a bank.

Worst online Banking
Don't let their so-called "big Name" fool you. This is the worst bank you can ever come across Their website is a total joke. I signed up for an online account. The two emails they sent have 100% contradictory messages in them. There was an email with Access Code which DOES NOT work and shows an error. Their customer service folks have No idea about any of this and the answer by the phone rep was that b/c many people using the website, that's probably why the links don't work- lol Stay away if you plan on using online banking services of any type.

I have bank with bank of America and now I'm banking with wells Fargo. Whenever I deposit a check in well Fargo my check is available immediately. I have no issues so far with this bank. With bank of America merchants had more access to my funds than I did. I would attempt to use my card and have to go through their fraud protection but then check my account and merchants had no issue getting my funds even after filing disputes. So far I'm happy with wells Fargo. They have customer service. One rep whose name was Vincent was very helpful.

A WELLS FARGO rant:
A WELLS FARGO rant: I've been a WELLS FARGO customer (and the banks preceding it) for over 40 years. I even stood by them through their several shady dealings with defrauding customers, etc. However, this is the last straw... Someone stole a check from me. Changed the information and went into a branch to cash the check. They walked up to the counter and presented an ID. The entire transaction, thief and all is caught on security video. I made a police report. The detective went to that same bank to investigate (Located on Lake Worth road in Lake Worth Florida) and Wells Fargo WOULD NOT COOPERATE! They went so far as to demand a subpoena! (The detective tells me that Wells Fargo knows that by the time she gets the subpoena, the video will be gone.) Isn't it comforting to know that the same bank that not long ago was caught stealing money from you is now protecting a thief that is stealing money from you? It really puts into perspective what customers mean to them. It's almost as if they've just forced me to leave. That is what just happened.

HORRIBLE SERVICE
March 30, 2023 went to Wells Fargo at 3001 US Hwy 9 Howell NJ after calling & told to come. When I arrived I was told the the branch manager would be with me in a couple of minutes. After waiting for a half hour, someone finally came out & told me she was busy & would be a little longer! In that half hour, NO ONE came out to see me or give me an update even though an officer was sitting in his office with the door closed on his cell phone. This is courtesy as your sign states in the lobby? Time to look for another bank that cares about their customers.

Wells Fargo's customer service SUCKS…
To say WF's customer service SUCKS would be a GROSS understatement. I have been making payments online with no issues, then suddenly one day I am no longer able to access my account online. I am now inconveniently forced to go to a physical WF branch to make payment each month. Yes! Yes! Yes! I have called MANY TIMES to try to resolve this but their customer service people have FAILED to resolve this... every single time I have called so far! I truly, truly regret ever getting my WF and BILT cards!!!!!!!!!

I had an account many years ago at Wells Fargo and closed it. Just asked to open an account today and was told we close soon and make an appointment. I think the same reasons I closed it years ago are still there. Rudeness and difficult to transact business. I wanted to open an account to transfer some money into a bank other than bank of america which currently has all my accounts. I wanted a new account to be a little removed from how easy BAC makes it to deposit and transfer money. I guess I will stay with BAC since I don't have the problem of rudeness or problems getting done what I need done. They have always been helpful, friendly and accommodating. Good to know Wells "ain't" for me before I have another problem with them like before.

This is the absolute worst bank of all…
This is the absolute worst bank of all time. The sluggishness and pathetic excuse for functionality that is offered not only by their system but also their employees is beyond atrocious. Let me give just a FEW examples of my HORRID experiences with Wells Fargo. 1. Due to their sluggishness of filing paperwork during a home purchase, we were delayed 3 MONTHS for a home purchase. This was simply related to user error on Wells Fargo’s side, and not only did it cost us 2k in loss from inspections, earnest money, etc, we also lost our chance to purchase the home because the seller could no longer wait on this pathetic bank. This is only ONE of the many times they have “lost” paperwork sent to them for different reasons. 2. HORRID customer service. EVERY time I call Wells Fargo for something, which has regrettably often, they always have to transfer me multiple times because no one knows who does what and who to send a customer to, even for SIMPLE requests. It’s extremely frustrating and unnecessarily time consuming. The ONLY time I have received good customer service has been once in person from a branch manager. I have more, so many more, but I could type them out all day. It’s an absolute lifetime experience waiting for a reimbursement if they have to send you a check for something, and their employees RARELY know the right answer to almost any of your questions. They don’t know what their left hand is doing from their right and they are one of the most unorganized banks I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

got hacked this morning. called in to get a new card. that part took only 45 minutes lol next they send me out a card and tell me don't worry you can use apple pay.... told them many times I am scared of keeping my cards online. asked if we could expedite my card so I can use it. their response ya just call back tomorrow😳 I already wasted 45 minutes. not to mention the guy over the phone kept making me feel pathetic cause you can just use apple pay.... I told him many times it's more risky to me and that man made me feel stupid. how many times he said you got apple pay it's OK. ITS NOT OK IF ITS NOT WHAT THE CUSTOMER WANTS. no to mention went into the hastings wells fargo about 6 months ago and a lady pointed to the number saying ,"were to busy you can call that number". when I told the guy over the phone he they don't believe in customer service and working with the customer he said ,"customer service isn't about getting the customer their way". safe to say after 13 years of banking with them I will officially be leaving. such a disgrace. I remember when this was the best bank out there. now they just don't care about the customer.

Excessive Charges
To begin with, it was my mistake. I lost track of what day it was (hazards of being retired). My payment was due on the 27th of January. I entered it in my checkbook on Jan 22nd but apparently forgot to complete the transaction online. I realized my error on the morning of Jan 29th and paid it. That was when I saw a $39 late charge and a $7.78 finance charge on total purchases of $169.39! Thinking it was a little excessive, I called them a day or two later and they agreed to drop the $39 but refused to drop the $7.78 finance charge! I know it was my mistake but their actions showed me that 25 years and an excellent payment history was not worth $7.78 to them. I canceled my card effective immediately! I also forgot to go online and pay my Citibank card, which was also in my checkbook as they were both due the same day. Citibank immediately dropped all charges, apologized for the issue and thanked me for my business!

Worse customer serve ever with Wells Fargo
I have been with Wells Fargo for many years with one of my businesses. I am a call with Shelby at Wells Fargo customer service she wasn’t interested in going over my statement with me so I asked her for a supervisor cause she seems like she doesn’t want to work but have a job and get paid. I have been on hold (still holding) for over 30 mins which if she assisted me we would of been off the phone by now. I never like to write bad reviews on anyone but this girl is snotty, has a rude attitude rather have me on hold then assist me. ABSOLUTE JOKE. Dealing with them on an auto loan was the worst experience I've had since dealing with Hughes Net. They are definitely in it for the money. I had to call and get my account set up. They DID NOT contact me to set up an account, which caused me to have a late payment charge in addition to my regular payment. Story is too bizarre to go into detail. I had to pay an additional $500 to payoff my loan. No explanation as to what the $500 was for. My advice is NEVER use them for an auto loan!!!!

I reluctantly started an account at this bank. Went in person to do the paperwork. That was in November '22. I still have never received ANYTHING from them. No statements, no ads, no communications. Not by phone, mail, text or email. I downloaded the phone app and it's useless. They are always either experiencing a problem or are "sending a verification text" that never arrives. Absolute garbage bank and I will be pulling my money from it (in person) as soon as today.

I’m disgusted with this bank
I’m disgusted with this bank, which I used to pride on customer service. Before traveling out of the country, I followed the instructions exactly this bank told me to make my debit card open to foreign transactions. Despite that, I get my bills denied sometimes, with a message about my bank declining. I used to wait for an email for them, sometimes up to a day, saying to authorize these transactions, but as of Kate they don’t even send those anymore, so I’m stuck being unable to pay bills with my card. And of course, there’s no email to reach these people. When I return I’ll be looking to leave and join a bank that cares and can abide by their own policies.

15 phone calls to 4 Branches
I made at least 15 phone calls to 4 different Wells Fargo Branches. NO ONE PICKED UP THE PHONE... After 2 weeks of "investigation" by Wells Fargo's corporate office, here is their reply. So, Wells Fargo's answer to their employees not answering the phone at any one of 4 branches that we called is: You want me to make an appointment, drive 2-1/2 hours in each direction to the branch, - Total drive time = 5 hours Wait in the lobby for 30 to 60 minutes, Just to ask a 30 second question of one of your employees. ----------------------- You have to be out of your mind. The much easier solution is to fire Well Fargo as my bank and move my money to another bank. bye, bye Wells Fargo!

Might as well ask a random bystander for help...
I switched back to W.F because I had previously used them for 4 years while rebuilding my credit, and aside from their outrageous overdraft fees I had no issues in 2011-2015. This time it was the convenience of cashing my works W.F checks without any gripe of a new account hold. My first check cashed fine. My second check, deposited via mobile app was available instantly. I even got an email stating it was 100% available. I posted two bill payments via ACH and went and bought $200 in groceries. The next morning at 3am I got an email that my account was negative, followed by an email at 6am that my check was on hold. Funny, I was given the okay and even allowed to spend the money. First I was told it was held due to insufficient funds in my works bank account! After sufficiently deriding my boss, and also the clerk for the fact they cleared the check and let me spend money and then screwed me, I then spent half my Saturday racing across town to my other bank where my savings resides, to get enough cash and cover all the bills I had posted. By Monday my work had gotten back to me with PROOF that the account had plenty of funds and that my check had cleared and the balance had been removed from their account Friday. I called C.S and was told a totally different story. It was probably held because it's a new account. Well that's funny, because if I didn't have a W.F account I could've cashed it outright, and you already took the funds from the company, and the entire point of that kind of treatment is to ensure the check will clear first. This is W.F to W.F so it's obvious the funds were available. So if that's true, you are literally telling me you're abusing me and holding my funds for zero cause. I asked to be escalated. After being escalated I was then told the funds were actually held because of suspicious activity--once again on my works account, NOT MINE. Not a single other person had a check bounce or held. Only me. The sole employee who used W.F. You're literally telling me I was punished for being a W.F customer while every other single employee at every other bank was treated as they should have been. If the funds were there, if the checks are regularly written to me, there is absolutely no reason I should be punished due to "suspicious activity" that's not even on my account. The following Saturday I went to my local branch to close my account. Why on earth would I stay? I was treated with complete apathy. The employee had zero respect or interest in hearing why I wanted to leave. When I tried to explain I was literally told he couldn't close my account, only take the funds out, and he handed me my cash, interrupted me and said goodbye. When I called to close my account I was at least treated respectfully, but was then told that the teller screwed me by withdrawing the funds. Instead of getting a check for the $4 they now couldn't close my account until the withdrawal cleared. They "marked it for closure", after which I got multiple emails warning me it couldn't close while transactions were pending. Over the next week I corresponded twice with two different CORPORATE reps and was given two more wrong answers. The first time I was told the check was held because it was a new account. Once again, W.F to W.F, this is bogus, get lost! The second time the rep gave me a plethora of copy paste answers to a bunch of unrelated things, none of which answered anything. During this same week I got a letter from W.F about why the check was held. The actual reason. That it is their policy (to punish W.F. customers, while letting everyone else's checks clear) when the from account has had what they perceive as suspicious activity. And last but not least, they never have closed my account. As a matter of fact they have now enabled credit report monitoring on my account despite that I haven't asked. Furthermore, this leaves me open to being charged fees, as the account has now been open over a month, without a balance. Avoid this plague of a company at all cost. There is no respect, there is no help. They themselves have no clue what is going on at any time of the day.

0 stars, not 1
If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Merrill transferred 2k to my WF account but WF said they rejected it because my online account was closed at the time so Merrill still had the money. Merrill denied this. Btw, I'm in China, so these phone calls all took place from midnight until 6 a.m. I spoke to NO LESS than 7 people at online banking to resolve this matter - to try to talk to someone in the accounting department. They wouldn't let me. They said they HAVE NO ACCOUNTING DEPT., which is ridiculous. I spent 40 HOURS (includes the long wait time during high period of Covid) to solve this issue. This was after sending them letters pre filing a lawsuit. 40 HOURS. No sleep, nothing. Finally, WF admitted it was their error, but still never deposited the money in my account. This took another 8-10 hours. Do you know what? I never even got an apology. NOTHING. Just, "Oh, yes, we see the mistake. We thought it was sent back but we actually have your money." When I get back to the States, I will close my account and never deal with this pathetic so-called investment institution. "We don't have an accounting department." How do you like that for an answer?" 2k dollars....3 months....50 hours in total - all between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. STAY AWAY

Wells Fargo is incompetent and Wastes your time needlessly
It is now into month 3 of what should have been 7-10 business days. I sent Wells Fargo the forms they required filled out as they directed to have the portion of my deceased mothers IRA left to me transferred to a Wells Fargo IRA I was directed to open in my name for that purpose. I have called and emailed multiple times during this period and it was always the same story... they had received the paperwork and it looked ok and it would take 7-10 business days to process. Today I called again after having waited over 2 weeks since the last phone call when I was told everything was in order only to be told today that I had done it wrong. I explained how I had done it exactly how the form says and exactly how I was told to do it. I asked to speak to a manager about resolving the issue and why, if something wasn't right about the form it took almost 3 months to find out and why they didn't contact me to let me know sooner. I was put on hold and then they never picked up again. This isn't even all of it. I have not one single positive customer service story regarding Wells Fargo that I can tell. I will take all of the funds and move them to another account and never do business with Wells Fargo again. I will do all I can to discourage anyone else from ever having any business dealings with this incompetent business.

I had fraudulent charges on my credit…
I had fraudulent charges on my credit card and the bank actually called me to let me know that they suspected the fraud. I told them that I did not know the vendor and had not made such a charge. They told me that they would reverse the charge and about nine months later I noticed that the charge was still not reversed. I called to let them know and they told me that they could not speak to me about it by phone but would send me a letter. I received a letter some time later and the letter stated that they were not going to reverse the fraudulent charges because I had been making payments on the card. I told them I had to make payments because the other charges were valid charges. I was the victim of identity theft and had a lot of debt to pay because I wasn't watching out for things as I should have been. I have been paying on the account for years and now can no longer pay online and my account was turned over to recovery even though I was paying it off. I could no longer pay online, they said I had to call so my payment was a day late the first time this happened and then I was told that I could do it online the next month and the same thing happened. I now call and am transferred around one dozen times before they can help me. I was just transferred five times this morning to make my monthly payment and now their system hung up on me so I am starting all over again. I left the account open years ago in an effort to resolve the issue but no one could ever help me. In the meantime, a utility company took a billing period to change my banks, after I called them, and my account went negative. I had no idea and the account was closed before I found out. Dealing with them has been a literal nightmare. Only person has been kind to me during the entire process.

Wells Fargo bank is sneaky especially when it comes to their fees, and don’t try to get them reversed, even if you’ve banked with them for years, they don’t care. Do yourself a favor and go with a credit union.

Fake Coupon sent to my Mail box
They sent an offer to open checking account and get 325 dollars bonus. However, the code they sent never worked and now they say that visit your nearest branch to open the account. In this digital age, they can not send one coupon right? Poor service and pathetic marketing strategies.

Not a reliable bank service!
Not a reliable bank service!! They dont really care about the consumers et al. Customer service is very rude and disrespectful. I dont think they are suitable for banking sector. They do not have rational reason to cancel the appointments scheduled 30 days earlier. Soon are later you will be doomed with Wells Fargo services.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever…
Absolute worst customer service ever...Things that should be relatively easy are made difficult. I have been trying to get a transfer done for about 2 months now.. Calls result in long hold times, and once you get someone, they don't know what they are doing, pass you over (after a long additional hold) to someone else who again fails to provide the info needed to accomplish something. Robot-like responses and no clear guidance. One person says one thing. The other says something else. You think you are done...and you get a message saying you are not. They put you in an endless and frustrating loop. Just unbelievably awful!

After 20+ years, I've had it.
I wish I could give them a zero. They are TERRIBLE. They hire a bunch zoombies, then they don't train them. But before you get to a zombie they make you sit through what feels like 10 minutes of robochatter. Then, when you get the zombie it has no clue. Call back, same thing. 3 zombies, 3 different responses, no satisfaction. They put you on hold forever, the same zombie comes back and says "I spoke with . . . ." - and it's always something crazy and it's always different. I've had. My project this year is to take my business elsewhere.

Nothing but crooks.
Just an excuse to rip people off. Search "Wells Fargo" fines" to see a list of offences they've committed against their customers. I've had no choice but to deal with them when my father could no longer manage his accounts. Even with a Power of Attorney and a legal letter, WF refuses to acknowledge me "due to security measures". However, in the meantime, they allowed a hacker to get into his account and transfer out $15K! After, we were instructed to wait while they investigated the fraud. A couple weeks later, they said because we didn't "act" in time, they were closing the case and no longer took any accountability for the hack. Just stay as far away from this company as possible. They really should be shut down because the multi-billion dollar fines they've been given clearly are not working.

Got an email to today stating I need to go to a branch (first appt is 4 business days out) and basically start all over, bring all the paperwork I have emailed to them during the process at their direction. Not first afwul experience with them but it will be my last.

Truly dreadful service:robotic script…
Truly dreadful service:robotic script readers not earthly humans attempt to interact with telephone inquiries. I called to pay my auto loan: WF lost the paperwork and I resubmitted, WF could not find the documents and denied I had an account, following up the next week WF did not understand I called to investigate the status of my loan so I can timely pay and I was sent to a WF supervisor to reexplain all, next I understand that a package to welcome me will arrive after my payment due date so I asked to automate my payment but WF Denied as my due date is less than 10 days away, asked to pay by cc was denied and finally I asked to make a one time payment which was accepted. Simple but took an hour on the phone to accomplish with a 5 times Re reading of the same information. Asinine. I will prepay my loan to avoid dealing with WF. Avoid these clowns.

Much better customer service
I am changing my review because I called on 23rd and an agent named Justin was very Helpful, professional, knowledgeable and considerate. He answered my Questions clearly and solved the issue. Also I visited a branch and they were so helpful, welcoming, professional and respected my time. (Terrible customer service! Agents have zero knowledge about mortgage and zero care about customers! It's been couple of months I'm dealing with them. Only once I talked to a person who really cared and gave me the right information about my account! The other 10 times, they couldn't even calculate how much I deposited! I called today again and The first and second person tried to deceive me me to Refinance with a higher rate than what I have right now! The third person kept me on hold every 10 minutes for 50 minutes to answer only on question and she kept rephrasing my question. The forth person even didn't bother to answer. She pretend that she doesn't hear me and hang up on me! I was on the phone with them from 8:59 to 10:02 and the only thing they did was ruining my day with zero result! I'm not expert in financing but I could definitely do a fantastic job compare to bunch of lazy, irresponsible people who work there and they don't care about customer's concerns and satisfaction! It's really a shame! Wells Fargo! Something is seriously wrong with your hiring system!)

If I could give it less than the one…
If I could give it less than the one star, it would be zero. I've been a customer at this mess of a bank for 7 years. They have manipulated deposit dates and purchase dates, leading to incessant late fees and multiple transactions, and has happened multiple times costing us a total of 1009$. Customer service is nonexistent, and they have zero motivation to come to any conclusions because they are benefitting financially. We are closing our account and cancelling all direct deposits. WF preys on their customers without shame and are loud and proud about it. They've proven they're untrustworthy and inconsistent and this was my very last day spending hours on the phone educating my bankers. Save yourself the trouble, go anywhere else. 😉

I have been a member since 1997, but that doesn't count. I submitted a claim to Wells Fargo. They did not contact me and made a decision before I got my documents in. I did not win the dispute,so much for the struggling working person, hoping to change banks soon.

Don’t ever do business with Wells…
Don’t ever do business with Wells Fargo. They will harm you in more ways than i can think of. I can tell you that I did a loan with them and they are committing fraud and illegal behavior. Below is part of the chain of what happened to me and they also did this to my neighbors! They incorrectly put tax information in my file, double counted an asset and failed to come up with the right ratios. They told us to wire $35K gift funds directly to escrow as you can see below and then they denied our loan for receiving too much gift monkey! We spoke to a board member at Charles Schwab who said because we locked in a long term rate of 3% Wells Fargo will lose money by putting this loan on their books as they would have to borrow from the feds overnight rate As you can see we hired an attorney as Wells Fargo already admitted fault and agreed to pay us $6K out of the $30K of financial losses we incurred because of them but we just want someone to hold them accountable. Ironic that in the wake of their big settlement they are still performing illegal lending tactics today. I missed my fiancés grandmas funeral, they almost cost me my proposal to my fiancé and we were homeless because of their mistakes. What they are doing to people isn’t right and they don’t give any care about it. If you want anymore information from me I would be happy to share more about my story but our loan officer said we were the worst treated loan file he’s seen in his career. Additionally our loan officer filed a complaint against his own company on our behalf and was fired. Wells Fargo just wants this to go away but if that doesn’t tell you they knew they messed up I don’t know what does. Thanks in advance for any light you can share with the world about this awful, awful company. Thanks

Unprompted Reevaluation - Business integrity at its finest
April 2021, I was scammed by who I thought was my utility company. I was asked to submit a $498 payment, via ZELLE, to ensure my late payment was not submitted to collections. Within a minute of pressing send I realized I was being duped. I immediately hung up and called Wells Fargo to request the payment be canceled or refunded. At the time, WF was unable to assist me with more than just taking down the information I had available of the scammers. Everyone I spoke with was polite and helpful but a refund was not possible. Fast forward 2 years. Today I received a letter stating they reevaluated my Zelle complaint and determined a refund was warranted. Not only was the full amount refunded, but they included interest! I was blown away that WF prompted this review and refund on their own accord. This is called business integrity. This is, in part, why I continue to bank with WF.

Wells Fargo doesn’t care!
Wells Fargo doesn’t care! My wife and I are entrepreneurs. We have wanted to go on a cruise for many years but due to the pandemic and challenges with the economy we have had to postpone this dream until recently. We saved our money for 7 years and finally, December ’22, we got our wish. On 12/23/22 I deposited a check for $8500 in my personal WELLS FARGO acct. – this was written from a BANK OF AMERICA ACCOUNT, from a business that I OWN. The check was signed by me. There was plenty of money in that account to cover that check. I am a WELLS FARGO customer since 2004! This money was for the purpose of covering the cost of our cruise. I have signed dozens of checks from my B/A account to WELLS FARGO acct over many years, never an issue. We left on our dream cruise on 12/29/22. After almost thirty hours of flying to our destination I was notified via email, from WELLS FARGO, that my check was returned and the funds were withdrawn from my WELLS FARGO acct. and returned to my B/A acct! The reason was “irregular signature”. I am now on my dream cruise and notified that the money that took us 7 years to save was now NOT AVAILABLE. Please keep in mind that I was in Europe. I had little or no internet access and was working with a 7-9 hour time difference. Add to that, we were in the middle of the New Years holiday making it very hard to reach people. We were so stressed. How are we going to get access to our money? Time zones and holidays made this so frustrating trying to reach people and due to the limited internet access trying to move money around was impossible. We were distraught. I called Wells Fargo and reached the first person who could not have cared any less. No compassion, no sympathy. I was told the following: • my signature was “irregular”, therefore the money was returned. • I explained that I was the authorized signer and was ready to offer any security measures required of me. I was told “we understand and apologize but there is nothing they can do”. • I begged them to verify the check to ensure there were funds in the account. I was told, that was not the issue. • I asked them to look at ANY of my previously written checks and they will see that my signature was the same…for years! She couldn’t care any less. • I asked for a supervisor and after multiple requests, she begrudgingly agreed. After waiting at least five minutes, expecting my connection to drop at any moment, a supervisor responded. I explained again that I was in dire straights and need them to put the money back in my account. Again, I was received a bunch of disingenuous apologies but there was nothing they could do. They promised me that I would hear from a supervisor within hours…..today is 1/9, TEN days later….NO CONTACT FROM WELLS FARGO. The facts: • The check was written from an established BANK OF AMERICA account with more than enough funds to cover the amount. • My signature was no different that dozens of checks written by me. This was easily verified by a simple review of my previous check images, readily available from my account. • I contacted Wells Fargo on 12/29/22. Offered them every conceivable form of security to verify authenticity of the check they were denying. They denied me and promised a supervisor would call withing 48 hours – ten days later, no contact. • I was charged a $12 fee for the retuned check!!!! It is clear to me that Wells Fargo could not care any less about their clients. My cruise was saved only by contacting a friend, who was in my home town, who covered the amount until my return. The damage was done. I lost three days of my dream cruise because WELLS FARGO doesn’t care. The stress was awful. I implore anyone searching for a new bank….Do the research. You will see that my situation is common for this uncaring financial institution. They are terrible people who disguise their selfish motives under the guise of “My security”!!?? My situation was easily rectifiable by a simple security check or reviewing my previous signatures. Shame on you Wells Fargo. You could not care any less….or maybe you could. Keith Kramer

Upset customer
First of all. I have been a loyal customer with Wells Fargo for four + years. I recently moved to UT from CO in which I had a joint account with my soon to be ex husband. I came in to Wells Fargo 84044 on 12/31/2022 to open up my own account so I could have my work checks direct deposit without my ex knowing I opened up my own account. Wan if the banker whom helped me. She was very friendly and helped me set up my account. That same day I put $ into my new account and I waited a week for my debit card to arrive by mail. I received my Debit card 01/07/2023. I tried using me new debit card on 01/08/2023 and my card was declined (with UBER) a few times knowing I had enough money in my account. I then went to Costco used my new debit card which went through with no problem. I signed on to my Wells Fargo account and noticed I didn't have any of the transactions PENDING on my new account! I then looked at my joint account (which I kept for ex husband to transfer alimony. When I opened up my new account I was promised that he would not know I opened up my own account. I didn't want him knowing due to being violent! Wells Fargo had taken money out of joint account which showed the transactions that I made with my new debit card so now he knows that I have my own account! I called 1(844) 879-3029 morning of 01/09/2023 spoke with a kind lady named Rem. She was able to view and understood my concern regarding my ex now upset knowing I opened up my own account! She has mentioned that Wan had mistaken & made my account as a joint account without my ex-husband being present due to him living in a different state! Juan tried calling me while at work I couldn't answer my phone so I called her on my lunch break at approximately 1:15 pm. I didn't have the information that I needed to explain her mistake. We had scheduled for me to come in at 4:00 p.m. to talk about this issue. She called me back and told me she had an appointment at 4:00 p.m. with somebody and that I would be able to talk to her at 3:00 p.m. it is currently 4:15 and she's supposedly been with customers since and has not gotten back to me! I am extremely upset and the bankers don't seem to care now that I have my account already open which I'm about ready to shut down! Please be careful going to this branch and double check your information is correct. (Wan did call me back before closing and and was very friendly) hopefully the issue with my account is resolved. Even though ex still knows about my new account! She did say, complaint management was going to call me back in five minutes and gave me a long verification code to give them when they call me. It is currently 6:30 pm & I still haven't had anyone call me!

Bad service and held my money
I opened an account they gave me temporary checks while my checks were being printed. I wrote a check to my mortgage company and it was returned for fraud. I went to my local Wells Fargo and they said yes it was returned. They didn’t know why and that I needed to talk to a banker. So they told me to wait in the lobby for a banker. I waited 30 minutes and then the banker got up and left and I asked tge teller where did he go and she said he went to lunch, fully knowing that I was sitting there waiting for him. All while my check was returned, my mortgage payment for my house bounced, and I got a service charge from my mortgage company. no one contacted me to let me know that they were not going to clear my check that they gave me and that I had plenty of money in the bank. The customer service is awful and they need someone to come in there and take care of their customers. I really wanted it to work out with Wells Fargo as I left my Bank Of 20 years . I am closing my account with Wells Fargo and going back to my previous bank. Just like they say you don’t know what you have until it’s gone and wells Fargo is one bank I will not miss oh, and I also sold my Wells Fargo stock this morning as I want to be treated like a human not just a number.
