The Application Process

You can apply for both cards through the Sable mobile app. Download the app for free from Google Play or the Apple App Store and tap ‘Open an Account.’ You’ll need to enter your name, email, phone number, and address. US citizens can enter a social security number, while non-citizens must take a photo of their passport and US visa. The verification process usually takes under 1 minute, although it can take up to 3 days if you upload an I-94 document instead of a visa.

Once your account is approved,  you’ll be issued a virtual card that you can start using right away with Google Pay and Apple Pay and for online purchases. Your physical card typically takes 8–10 business days to arrive.

I’m so thankful for the help I received from stable. I’ve had my account for a short time and I’m steady Brent building my credit on their secured credit account option. I recently had a hack on account that had sable’s information linked to the account and was charged more than $400 for service that I did not order or authorize, but they investigated the matter and I receive my refund without any trouble whatsoever .

This company should not be trusted
This company should not be trusted. They get all of your information. Then send you cards in the mail. Without warning the close your accounts and use the excuse that there was not enough activity on your account to keep it open. So basically if they are not consistently making moneyboffnofbyiur transactions then you're out without any notification. But trust that they will keep your personal information and see it to their partners to solicit you without your knowledge of them making a profit off of your personal information. This is why our country is in such a bad state of affairs. No one cares anymore. We're just allowing this BS! to happen. Stand up! Fight this tierant company and hit them hard so that they can feel it. You cannot treat Americans this way and think that this is okay. Sable is a scam company - please report to the SEC and file a police report with the NYPD. They steal everyone social and make you wait for a credit/ debit card which you will never get. My wife and I open our account 9months ago and still we haven’t received our cards. It’s a scam please file a report and protect and freeze your credit.

Sable Bank - True Scammers
Absolutely do NOT trust your time, energy, savings, or money with this fraudulent company! They anticipate and prey upon large transfers and direct deposits and quite literally steal your money by "locking" your account for "inactivity" or what they consider to be fraudulent behavior, when really THEY are the frauds! Their customer service is practically non-existent with long call wait times that either end in a disconnected call or completely useless agents that will tell you what you want to hear to appease you about your account information. Do not even get me started on their utter lack of transparency on how they report to credit bureaus which is always late, never accurate, and consistently does not meet the standards and information actually reflected within your account; such as the account being paid in full, balance being $0, or that the account is in fact CLOSED. They will continue reporting the account as open/revolving despite paying in full and explicitly requesting account closure... Overall a terribly run company that clearly banks on the fact that people will make large deposits which they essentially steal from you. Stay far, far away from Sable.

Stay far away!
This is such a frustrating card to use. They have it set up so you can ONLY pay your credit card using your linked Sable bank account. You can't link another bank account to pay your credit card bill. But you cannot get the funds into your Sable bank account immediately -- you have to wait a few days for them to transfer (the transfer time is the slowest of any I can think of). To add to the frustration, they NEVER send you a notification like, "Your credit card bill is due in 7 days" to remind you to transfer the darn funds. The notification you DO end up getting says something like, "Your payment is X days late." In their (small) favor, they do send that when it's like 3 days late or something, so at least before they report it late to the bureaus. But SUPER frustrating because now it's already late, I'm stressed out because I have to manually keep going back in to check and see if the transfer has landed yet. And again, the transfer takes longer than ANY of my other accounts, which always post within 24 hours or less these days. To make matters even worse, the chat is never available, and even when it used to be available it was worse than useless -- I remember going in there and spending an hour waiting for a response. I felt like I was being punked by their stupid responses to my questions. Their answers were literally SO not "answers" it felt like a parody of customer support. AND their help articles that say how to use CashApp to get funds into your account immediately are patently WRONG. It doesn't work at all. I followed their instructions to the letter once and ended up paying a processing fee to transfer funds into and back out of my SAME bank account (not the Sable one) because CashApp doesn't let you transfer funds to your Sable debit card -- even though the Sable "help" article says it does. It does NOT. So, I added my Sable debit card, transferred money into CashApp, and cashed out in CashApp -- and the money went back into my other bank account, and I was charged a fee. I wasted time, money, AND still had to go through the other transfer process and wait 2-3 days for the money to finally land in my Sable account so I could pay my credit card bill. Their customer service is also SO slow. It takes a couple of days for them to get back to you, and as I said, the chat is NEVER available these days. There are just SO many other options available for flexible secured credit cards these days, I would say this is the WORST. Stay far away! I am now saddled with this stupid account just so I don't end up with a closed account on my credit history that I am working hard to rebuild. The nice branding is smoke and mirrors. This credit card company is not worth dealing with.

Should be ZERO stars absolutely the worst bank ever! Lies upon lies tell you one thing they do the next. Not very secure at all, trying to still get money back from unauthorized purchases. Joke !! Secured credit absolutely worst credit builder ever guided me poorly. I have been trying to close account that's another joke. HR should be fully responsible for hiring people that have no or little experience with money. I was guided and told wrong information, but that's my fault!! NO I didn't do the hiring.

I've jumped through every hoop Sable Money has to offer, making at least 15 purchases per month that total $250 or greater, having a credit limit of $200 or more, on-time credit card payments, a recurring deposit of at least $150 and yet to have my card unsecured. I guess it's time for me to check out Discover Card cause this company has my credit stagnant.

All I have to say is oh my goodness
All I have to say is oh my goodness! The other negative reviews are spot on. I applied for the Sable card months ago and they did send me 2 cards, one for debit and the other for credit. None of the cards even worked when I had to slide them through the terminal because they did not even have card chips on them. I tossed those cards that I could not use away and have been waiting on cards with chips for months now. Now I have to use the virtual cards instead. Looked at my credit reports one day and saw that my account said closed on Transunion and Equifax when they are still open. This company has a serious problem just like the guy said below. The customer support is horrible and this really does not seem like a real financial institution at all. The customer support is sub-par and I am still waiting on a response about why my credit reports say closed when my account is actually opened and it has been about a whole week now with no response. The worst bank ever!

I applied for a sable card I downloaded the app and signed up. I kept checking on the status and it finally said shipping. Then it gave me one delivery date then checked ahain there was another one then another different one. Then not long after that I signed back in and it said wrong password which was not wrong. I called and the lady said it was closed due to inactivity. I wasn not able to get into the app to be active. My credit report said still active. I told the lady it sounds like a scam. They were not gping to send me my cards.

Company DOESN'T report to Credit Bureaus properly
This company DOESN'T report your good payment history on time at all. It's Dec.2, 2022 and two of my credit bureaus accounts are showing last reported Oct. 1 and on my Experian, it's showing that I'm at my limit on Sept. 30 and it hasn't changed although I'm a $0 balance. They also play this little game with you telling you the card will be unsecured in as little as 4 months and make you jump through hoops and then freeze or restrict your account for no reason or explanation and reject incoming deposits causing you not to be able to pay your account because you can ONLY pay the account from money in your Sable bank account! If you are rebuilding credit stay away from this card!!! Talking to customer service is like talking to a brick wall and forgot about if you have a problem with a transaction your money is just gone! The will NOT even look into it or give you your money back. If someone is filing a class action lawsuit I'm in!

My Experience -Definitely Nothing Bad however Nothing Super Good either
Well after using both of the sable credit card and sable debit cards I've really not been overly impressed but at the same time I've also not been somewhat disappointed either... It's my opinion that their "Road To an Unsecured Credit Card" seems vaguely more like a Highway paved with somewhat nebulas requirements, and depending on where within the app that you read about these requirements they seem like in one particular section of the app you only need to have a monthly spend of $200/month yet in another section that same monthly spend only needs to be "around" $125.00/month So clearly the rules are somewhat subjective which we all know can lead to a HUGE disappointment when the user/customer believes they are ready to graduate to "unsecured credit card heaven" until the phantom almost non-existent customer service eeks out a long overdue email stating that They are so sorry but you'll need to start all over again and this time you must have 100% direct deposit not the specified 15% In summation although I've never encountered any problem with any part of the app or using the cards... I'm afraid I'm not holding out for anything remotely as wonderful as the Benefits, Perks and Great Rewarding Experiences that I've enjoyed throughout the past 6 years with the folks over at Chime BANCORP and company... They've really knocked it out of the Park and that's unheard of theses days.

Someone opened a Sable cc in my name and racked up thousands of dollars. They deposited a small amount of money... and paid the 1st month 's balance. I didn't even know my identity was stolen until my credit score started falling due to the unpaid account. What started as a nice idea is rapidly unfolding as a nightmare. They would not give me my cards
They would not give me my cards, it been over two months an sable closed my account that I was trying to build credit with, when I kept trying to get ahold of them they finally said they closed it. It's there policy when the account is not being used but I can't use a card I don't have right (DA)!!!!!!!!!! Support was not nice.

The worst experience with a credit card company in my life I applied for a card and got approved they said that shipping will take more time cause the card manufacturer is backed up So I patiently waited. It's been 7 weeks and no card plus they reported to my credit report and closed the account for inactive account (for not using a card I don't have) so now I have a closed account on my credit bureou for no reason it was their fault I didn't get my card and now I have a closed account on my report which effects your credit when applying for another card. I think its insane. And someone in that company needs to own up to this, customer service guy was so calm telling me "yes sir I know it's not your fault but we won't remove the account from your credit report" it's horrible what a waste of a company. I'm disgusted

This company is going down and id recommend anyone who use them to stop immediately and close the account. Their company is rapidly failing not holding up to their agreement. I add money to my cc and locked my cards and they still allow charges to come through from unexpect or unwanted merchants. So that does not work. I contact support through chat they don’t respond, cell no response and email they send auto generated messages. Now they block my card right after I reported them to the bbb. Now I am going to close my account and as for them not keeping up to the agreement I will not be paying any remaining balance on my account any attempt to put such item on my credit will be vigorously disputed. Customers I have been in business for many years and if a business does not keep up to their agreement you have a right to back out and not pay or repay that business. Any court will back that up.

Don’t waste your time or much money.
I have had Sable for roughly 2 years now and out of the 20 digital banking apps so far, this is one of the worst. I have to email Sable at least 10x before I get an automated response and the app is always down to chat. There’s no number listed anywhere and the one that I found was for a completely different company. I filed a dispute months ago and still haven’t even gotten an automated email. They don’t allow many different things that other digital banks do. Overall I wouldn’t even waste my time.

If I could rate this negative 5 stars I would. Worst customer service you could imagine. Don't respond for days. Will freeze your account so you can't do anything with funds. They buy all their reviews on google/youtube to make it look like it's a good card when in reality it's a piece of s*#t :)

I have had a fairly decent experience using the Sable Credit card. The only complaint I have is their path to secured credit is questionable. I have met all the marks for 5 months straight while increasing my credit score by 100 points and they have not changed my card to unsecured and returned the deposit as indicated. It’s a good card for people that are looking to rebuild their credit. The customer service isn’t the greatest, but they are reachable by chat.

Don't use this bank
Don't use this bank. I just transferred $1,000 into my account on 10/27/22. However, that same day they closed my account due to "inactivity." I called them on 10/28/22 to find out where my money is and they said that they would send a wire transfer and I should receive it in 24-48 hours. Although, today I still don't have my money. I called again today and was told that it would take 10-13 business days before I can get my money back.

10,000+ Wrongfully made charge hit secured card limit of 507$ and reports negative to credit even though they said I won dispute and they kept my deposit!!
It’s now oct 26 ,2022 in feb of 2022 I have a 10,207$ fraudulent charge show up on my sable secured credit card with a limit of only 507$ I disputed immediately and they still reported to bureaus that I owed all the money and added 99$ in interest on the total every month. In June the quote on quote resolved the dispute and funded back just enough to to make me still have a balance of 507$ to pay. And than closed my account. They wouldn’t give me back my security deposit nor even though I won’t dispute they didn’t refund the total of the charge that originally hit account which makes no sense on top of the interest they charged they didn’t refund. I was on hold the other day for 3hrs 58 mins and hung up on than they emailed me to say sorry about the hold something “came up” they would reach back out. They never did I’ve sent 99+ emails and spoke to 50+ reps since feb 2022 and nothing has been done to fix it. I’m perusing legal action.

sable has no same day support,if you have a question or other reason for calling it will not be addressed by a human at sable for at least a day.i guess you could read the articles they point you to in response to your message for a day or two. the support is mainly automated by design,alot of effort was put into assuring that we wont recieve live help in our time of need.

Applied and granted the Debit and Sable One Credit Card. I have not been well. I reached out to find out how to fund the Sable One Credit Card (proof printed) and I was informed both accounts were closed during to inactivity. WOW!!!!! They deserves LESS than a one. Stay away from this company!
Stay away from this company. You'll never speak to a live person. They instruct you, via a pre-recorded message, to leave a message and a Customer Service Agent will reach back out to you. I've been waiting since September 2nd and again on October 2nd for the callbacks that I was supposed to receive. Today, I called to close BOTH my checking account and credit account & decided to use the chat platform, as advised as one of the alternative methods of reaching Customer Service on the pre-recorded message. Well, I waited a full hour for a human being to come into the chat conversation, but that never happened. I took screenshoots of everything, so it can not be denied when I email Customer Service tonight, as advised in the bank's mobile App. I wish that I could post all of my pictures, but then again, they're speaking loud and clear about how they feel about their customers and their Customer Service, but not address any negative reviews on this website alone in over 12 months. In the beautifully spoken words of the late & great Maya Angelou, "When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time." On that note, it's time for me to bow out on Sable and let them treat the people that do NOT know their worth like trash, all while you're making them filthy rich. "No, no, no..............NOT in this house."

Really deserves 0 stars you can’t even rent a car with the credit card. My cards always declining because a company don’t even except this card. I transferred money from my capital one account which came out of my account the same day and here I am on day 6 still waiting for sable to process it. As soon as it clears I will be taking my money out and closing account ASAP

Didn't report my $0 balance to credit bureaus
Most credit cards have a payment due date and a statement closing date, but Sable refuses to disclose the statement closing date. The only response I get is the payment date is the 27th and the account is from month to month. August my account was reported at the limit but in September before the 27th my balance was $0 and still is, but today is Oct. 16 and they still haven't reported it, WHY? When I questioned them this is the response I received we currently report all information including your credit utilization, outstanding balance, payment history, and credit limit. Please note that we report to the credit bureaus a snapshot of your account as of the last day of the month. (Notice they say on the last day of the month and then notice the next statement) We don't have a fixed date when we report to the credit bureaus at this time but it will be the month after your billing cycle. For example, for the month of June, we will report to the bureaus in July. So someone please tell me what does this mean they do or don't because they haven't. So I HAVE filed a complaint with cfpb for an answer!

It's a scam, not a bank!
Customer service is slow, laborious and usually ends without any resolution. Ripoff #1) Their website promised a $25 bonus when your credit score reached 700. My score reached 700 and no bonus. I contacted them several times about the bonus and always got the brushoff. Never got the bonus. Ripoff #2) The credit card is a rewards card. I had stopped using it because of my disappointment and wanted to cash out my rewards before closing the account. Every time I tried to cash out I got an error page. Once again I contacted Sable customer service and once again my issue got sent to the Great Sable black hole of nothingness. So I'm out around $45 in bonuses that they had promised which isn't a huge amount of money. But it does speak volumes about their lack of integrity. A bank that rips you off isn't a bank, it's a scam.

I was trusting of their very detailed webpage that I submitted photos of my Passport and EB3 visa foil page only to know that my application is denied. Who knows if they made a fake visa foil for somebody using my visa information? I am but one legal immigrant compared to those thousands of illegals who want to be in the United States.

Terrible company. Someone at Sable opened a card in my name. I told them it wasn't me. They closed it but when I requested a copy of the application, they hid behind the Fair Credit Reporting Act saying that I needed a Subpoena and a police report. Why would I waste the police's time for a report? All I wanted was a copy of the application. Appears to me that they opened an account without my consent and they don't have an application so now they are scrambling similar to what Wells Fargo did to their customers.

Seven weeks later...still no cards
Seven weeks later...still no cards. Their excuse? They are experiencing delays with their card producer. The obvious question... How long before I could anticipate receiving a card, I don't need an exact date, just wondering if it will be weeks, months, years? Their answer "we are not able to provide an estimated time". Now customer support chat has gone completely dark. If they can't even handle the most basic business functions like getting a card mailed out, how could I ever trust them to handle my money? I can't. I've sent multiple messages now asking them to close the account. We'll see how this goes or if I have to file complaints with the state Attorney General.

Sable is a horrible representation of digital banking. Do not use this company to build credit, there are better options. They do not answer calls, emails are answered 2 - 5 days. They will lock your account without a reason, they pick which accounts to send their physical credit cards to with no guidelines. It is trash.

I was really liking my sable account, it’s convenient, easy to manage, easy to pay the secured card and payments avail right away…but I have rewards which I try to redeem, and I get an error message. I report it and either don’t get a response or they say it’s being worked on..it’s been over 2 months now. I’d really like a real response. I was told that the rewards would be on my next statement, that didn’t happen either. It’s extremely frustrating that I can’t speak to anyone live, I have tried, phone and chat, Nobody answered and nobody called back, and nobody responded while I tried to chat. I’ve sent emails, I’ve done everything I can think of to try to get answers, the redemption button worked the couple of times I used it, then suddenly it just stopped. 🫤if really like to know what is wrong.

This is the WORST bank ! First of all, their customer service is non existent. I've been calling for weeks and no one ever picked up the phone. I received an international wire transfer over 6 business days ago and they are requiring proof of address and a copy of the wire transfer from the sender like what the hell? They want to "make sure" the wire transfer I received was really for me. This is absolutely the WORST bank in history and I wish/hope there is a way I can sue them. I still didn't receive my money and there is no way I can contact them. They don't pick up the phone and no one is available for a live chat. COMPLETE SCAM someone close this bank.

I've had my account since the end of last year always paid on time and most of the time in full. Never had a problem was able to lock and unlocked my cards as needed. Since I have been on the road to unsecured that's when the problem started last month. My account was locked for about a week with no explanation as to why. My direct deposit pension was returned therefore causing me not to have a deposit for July so I had to start over. This month is the 1st I deposited money into my account and transferred to credit account and now my account is blocked again. This company is purposely trying to stop my account from becoming unsecured. I'm NOT going back and forth with them I'm filing a complaint with CFPB.gov for an explanation from them as to why all of a sudden I'm having problems with my account and it's being blocked when every month since the account has been opened it's showing in good standing and 100% on my credit file until now.

Do not bother. Hassle to use, poor support, not as advertised.
It is a mobile-only app with no web access, no support except email with 24 hrs turnaround time, confusing FAQs that describe features not present in the app etc. Severely immature product that for me personally was too painful to use. You cannot move money except Zelle that works only 50% of time, wire transfers -- they will force you to put proof of address, share your ID and will charge $3 for each incoming and $5 for outgoing transfer. And it is SLOOOWWWW. As a tool to build your credit score, as for someone who moved from overseas it is quite useless. They did not report the account to the agencies for about 3 months after opening the secured card and whatever they reported -- I could not clearly see it on file. The path to unsecured is like jumping through hoops -- number of transactions, their volume, direct ETF from your employer. I.e. you are forced to have your salary to come to Sable that was pretty much a deal breaker for me on top of all other inconveniences and very poor design this service has. After ~5 months of "using" Sable I was out. If you are "an International" -- the target audience Sable positions themselves for, do not bother. If you had your Euquifax file in another country -- Amex can pull it and you will be basked in the excellence of the Amex service. For something quick and international -- Wise are awesome.

Four weeks later, emails not returned, my money is still frozen and no end in sight. This company is stealing from people, read reviews everywhere. Scam. Theft. Avoid this company like the plague. Really poor customer service
Really poor customer service. Shut down my account after I made a Wire transfer of over 160K into the account, saying "Following a thorough review of your account history and activity, we are unable to service this account any longer and your account will be terminated." Right now my money is held by them for over 10 days, and has not been returned yet. This put me into a hard time since it's an urgent fund. Email response is very slow and phone number can not get you a real agent to talk with. Be aware of this Online Bank, will give you big trouble when you can't find a real person to solve the issue.

Don’t trust them. They take your money and then block you from acces it with no explanation or communication. They cause unnecessary harm to credit files and also do not educate them selves on your account because there is zero communication on their part. They have a nonexistent customer service department as I was told there are only 2 people and all they can do is tell you they don’t have an answer and this is IF THEY ANSWER OR RESOND. They have had my accounts frozen for a month with no explanation and now they just closed it and won’t return the funds. They assume the right to keep your money and basically hold your money hostage with no answers. They false advertise because they do not help build credit!

I applied for this car about 6 months ago I put $500 in it unsecured and they gave me $1,000 limit I use the card and was supposed to get rewards 2% or certain purchases and 1% on others once you get your rewards they build up but you cannot redeem them, I have over $100 in the redemptions but you can never use them every time you try to redeem them you get an error message, every time you email them they give you a cookie cutter response they say they're working on it and it should be up ASAP but it never works and you always get the same email back you can't contact anyone by phone and the chat within the app kicks you out every time you click on it this is a very sketchy company and it has so many other bad reviews I would stay far away from this company that's why you cannot use this company for car rental anymore stay away at all costs. You'll never receive a statement they don't send statements.

I love this bank! Have been using it for a while now and hadn’t had any issues. I especially love the cashback benefits, the rewards section is great. I am also able conveniently to send transfers abroad, it’s low fees and fast. It’s the first account I opened once I arrived in the US, smooth onboarding process!

Along with the rest of the bad reviews of people not getting their direct deposit I too am another customer that have been waiting for now going on 2 weeks without getting my funds. Have left numerous emails, my phone number, and voice messages everyday and no one will reply to any of the messages. This is a very unprofessional business and will discontinue any future direct deposits or funding to either of my accts. Will be working to close them if possible.

A long story but also caused a ripple effect and we are now homeless. I hate this so called bank! Their has to be something that can be done. I opened a account and used it for everyday expenses with no problem. Loved the cash back. Then one day my card didn't work. I opened the app and it said my account was restricted. After multiple attempts to contact the bank I finely get a email saying my account was being closed and my funds would be returned to there source. Well 2 weeks later I still don't know why my account was closed and I still haven't received my money. Chat is permanently closed. They do not respond to emails and they do not answer the phone. Stay away.

This company has the WORST customer service I've ever seen. They claim that you can transfer funds from your bank account, but there's no option to do that in the app. They say you can fund the card at numerous retail locations, but everywhere I went (Walgreens, CVS, 7-11), it failed to go through. I've sent them several emails and they only responded to me ONCE, and never addressed the problem! It seems awful odd when a bank won't take your money, and doesn't seem to care if you're having trouble giving it to them, so I did a search of "Sable card scam" and after finding out how many people have gotten straight-up RIPPED OFF by Sable, I'm glad they never got my money, and I'm going to throw that card in the trash and give my business to a REAL bank. Sable is a janky operation with HORRIBLE customer service at best, and possibly a scam at worst. STAY AWAY!

I was notified that there were several charges made online today which I did not make.I have spent 7 hours just today trying to resolve it and I can’t talk to anyone. Just emails that it can take 90 days..hope I can get my money back. What a joke!

I wish I could rate them ZERO. After they accepted the first transfer into my account, they restricted it. I was unable to access anything. I reached out to them and after waiting for hours I finally got on to someone via the online chat. I explained the situation and her response was ‘ (11:28:39 AM) Alicia O.: Your account is currently blocked and under review. Unfortunately, we do not have any additional details at this time but I have requested a status. Please allow one business day for your account review. We apologize for any inconvenience.’ I left it for over 6 weeks until I realised that my husband did a couple other transfers that he did not get back in his account and we are unable to locate the funds totaling $1000. I reached out again and let me tell you this has to be the worst customer service in life. This is the conversation; ‘ We apologize for the inconvenience you are facing now. Sable would like to verify the incoming direct deposits you have received into your Sable bank account which you were not listed as the receiver. Please provide PDF bank statements detailing joint bank account ownership with the listed receivers of the direct deposits. Sable currently does not support joint accounts, authorized users, or shared account access. In addition, please confirm your relationship with all parties. (11:07:22 AM) Angelie M: Kindly email it to us (11:07:24 AM) Angelie M: Thank you (11:07:28 AM) Andell Aziz: Are you saying that the account was restricted because of the transfer? They were sent from my husband but the account is not joint (11:07:46 AM) Andell Aziz: Please advise the process to have the account closed off (11:09:09 AM) Angelie M: No worries, the account is for closure already. I would have given this review zero stars. However, it forces you to give at least one. I am new to Sable, it was the Secured Card that grabbed my attention. I received my debit card, and then loaded funds onto it at a local retailer. I have not seen my card since, do not know if I dropped it there, maybe the parking lot, not sure. The load was done on a Thursday. The following Sunday I logged into the app to retrieve the acct/rt numbers, to set up DD. The app showed I was negative 1.19. Fast forward to today. It has been 9 days, I have had 14 online chat conversations, a total of 37 emails back and forth. They still cannot even answer for me when my replacement card was mailed. I completed and submitted the list of transactions 8 times(they say they need more info) even though they can see all the transactions on the account. The account user policy states they will provide a provisional credit under the dispute is resolved. That has yet to happen, when I try to get more information I receive a variety of answers. Never available by phone, and I have requested a supervisor multiple times. I have been treated with complete disrespect, and told I just need to be patient. Guess what, once I have my $$, if I ever have my $$. I will not be using this card. My suggestion, if you are thinking about Sable, think about running.

Their customer service is abysmal and any email correspondence is spotty at best. They will lock your card without authorization and treat you like you're trying to commit fraud when you answer all their questions in full and ask for your account to be restored.

Stay away from the Sable secured card! I had a checking account with an attached secured card so I could get my credit score higher and get a non secured card. After about 6 months I didn’t need the secured card from Sable anymore so I closed it. I had almost $300.00 available credit due to me. After 4 months I’m still waiting for my money. It is owed to me and they will not pay me. I’ve tried calling over and over, they never pick up, you only get a recording. They never call you back. Tried live chat. Doesn’t work either. Tried emailing, nothing. Be very careful with Sable. They will not pay the money they owe you.

Convenient and effective!
Signup was easy. I'm an American graduate student who had a modest credit score and student loans. Sable helped me get a credit card and build my score by two hundred points in a matter of a few months. Its very convenient. I recommend Sable as a means to easily manage money between accounts and banks, and to build credit. No issues.

Built a credit score in 3 months
I am a foreigner and use the Sable card for 3 months now. I have been able to go from no credit history and score to a 688 in no time. I am really surprised how well this works and I am looking into more options to build my credit score with a different mix of credits. Update: The 688 is based on the Experian Vantage 3.0 score and I am aware that his is a vanity metric and does not reflect the whole picture of a FICO score. I will try to build more history and also started a credit builder loan with Self

Takes about a week to transfer money
This card is great for cash back for secured cards. That is the only reason I gave two stars. To transfer money takes about a week to do and you cannot pay your credit card with any other bank card but sable. So you have to find a place that deposits cash. I went to the Walgreens to try and do so but they did not participate so I transferred from my sofi money bank account and it has been a week and it is not transferred. The transfer has been pending two days now. This can be a great option for secured card to build credit but if you want to transfer money in this account, forget about it unless you are ok with it taking 5-7 business days at the least.
