Reports misinformation to the Credit Bureaus
I will give them credit for approving me to get a card (albeit at an outrageously high interest rate), issuing the card in a timely manner, and correctly crediting my payments. The problem comes in when they lie to the credit bureaus about the balance I am carrying on the card. I filed a dispute with the credit bureau when I saw that a substantial payment had not reduced my balance for some time. They affirmed the balance in their response to the dispute ... a full two weeks after the payment had been credited to my account. It's appalling to me that any time a card is used and my balance rises, that event is reported immediately to deteriorate my score - but when a substantial payment is made, it takes MONTHS for them to get around to reporting that. So I called to ask them to do the right thing and correct the misinformation. 30 minutes later neither the front line rep or his supervisor were willing to assure me that the balance would be corrected. I suspect they spent more time on the phone making excuses than it would have taken to address the issue. I know which card will be the last one out of my wallet in the future!

Worst credit card available
Worst credit card available, i got this credit card when i had bad credit. Today i sit at 740 credit score have, and have other credit cards. This one is so bad that you will get charge the anual fee month-to-month so i pay 9 dollars a month for free if you forget to pay it since you don’t use the account they will charge you a late fee for this anual month-to-month fee. If may credit score didn’t drop for closing an account i would close this piece of shiii.

Absolutely horrible institution
Absolutely horrible institution, mystery “adjustment fee” AFTER I closed my account, and paid the full balance due. The fee caused a late, which then gained a monthly service fee, that then snowballed over 3 months before they ever reached out. I closed the account and they continued to rack up charges on a CLOSED account! Run, Run, Run, these guys are literally the worst. Amex, Discover, even Capital One is better!

We just recently had a case of bank account fraud and had made payments to several creditors right before. Our bank froze our accounts and rejected payments that were made 2 to 3 days prior before we identified the fraud. Creditors were called and waived the returned payment fees EXCEPT for CreditOne. They claimed it was against their policy. Called on 2 different occasions. Have to pay the returned payment fee plus interest! What a joke!

Scam1 Bank!
Wish I'd have read the trust pilot reviews before I got a card from this company! The terms and agreement they sent me said I have 27 days from the end of each billing cycle to make a payment. I generally pay my cards off in full every month. I was called today and notified that I am past due and have been charged a late fee of $29.99. I asked them how I could possibly be past due since I just paid my bill off in full on December 14th and generated a new billing cycle. They told me I am misreading the terms of agreement, even though I just reread the terms of agreement, and they said they have a 27-day billing cycle and you are past due if you don't pay it on the 27th day of when your billing cycle starts. I have three other credit cards and none of them operate this way. It's just a joke. I had four different people give me the same spiel, then asked me if I wanted to speak to their supervisor before I told them I was just done with the supervisors I would pay off my account and close it. I agree with the other 261 people on this review list who said do not do business with this company!!

They have the worst customer service!! They can't speak english nor understand what you are saying. Next time I'll have my lawyer call. I suggest you mention a lawyer and I can gaureentee the tone will change. How do you give a due date for a card that has not been activated 🤔 nor received!!

Crappy ethics
So I got a credit one card to help boost my credit score but I started noticing return payments. I thought nothing of it until I got another returned payment. I called and was told I had insufficient funds. Which was not true. The account I was paying from was an account I through all my extra money into....not savings and that account has had a balance anywhere from 1000 to 1500 at any given time throughout 2022. I wish they would just have accountability for their network flaws and to be honest I don't won't to be involved with company that will terminate a relationship due to their networking errors. Not a single other account I had has had any issues. And I was paying 100 dollars a payment some time 3 times a month and was told I could only pay three payments. I have never been late and never went over available credit. Good riddings Capital One their are plenty other card companies that want my business. Send my my final bill and I'll pay it off all at once. Good day.

Wish I could give 0 stars! They sent a bill prior to receiving my card! Called immediately was told no worries disregard and your 1st payment will be due next months statement. So the date of 1st statement prior to receiving my card came and past......5 days later my acct was past due! Called was told no worries and was fixed! Still had available credit. Then 2 wks later my card was declined. Came home checked app once again I'm past due! Third time calling got all the way to manager after threatening to just pay off bal and cut up card......was sent to manager who said he fixed it I would have my avail credit within 24-48 hrs....72 hrs checked nope no changes. Called 4th the time was told adjustments were made but I had no available credit balance! I'm done with the garbage! Can't even speak to someone in US it's a call center where they read a script from somewhere in India! Do not do business with this company! They are not reputable they rip you off from the get go! Please no matter how bad you need a card do not use this bank they are not real!

Reported me to debt collector when I was in good standing.
I have been a loyal Credit One customer for many years now, so I'm so disappointed in their behavior and what they did to me. I have been paying down two of my credit cards on time. I recently paid large portions of them down (more than halved my credit debt with them). I was happy because I was on the road to evening my balance with them. I then noticed my credit card expired. So, I called them to ask if they could issue me a new card to my new address. The customer service representative told me he could help and that he changed my address on file and they'll be sending me a new card. I thought everything was fine. THEN, I go to my smartphone app to check my credit score and BAM. They tell me my account is suspended and to call a number. I thought that was strange, but figured maybe it was a technical issue. I called their hotline they suggested to call, entered my details, and I was told by their automated system that I my account was no longer with Credit One and to call another number. Now I was getting nervous. So I called that number and it took me to a DEBT COLLECTOR. I am absolutely livid, because now my credit is at risk because Credit One's customer service rep ERRONEOUSLY reported ME to a debt collector?! If this hurts my credit score, they will need to do the groundwork to fix their mistake. In the meantime, they need to restore my account and remove me from COLLECTIONS! NOW!

If I can give a negative star..
If I can give a negative star... I would do so. Credit one platinum is not the way to go! First off, I received an invitation in my mail box for a $3,000 credit limit along with a fake card. I filled out the application and was immediately approved. The card took forever to come. Almost a full month, which should've been my warning from then. I used the card regularly for small everyday purchases and made on time payments. Statements were always updated slowly but accurate. I then increased my usage with this card and eventually decided to buy a product which came out to the total of $951.32. Before any transactions were made, all my bills were paid in full meaning I would have a total of $3,000 available in credit before purchasing the product. I continue to do my everyday purchases as normal and pay 75% of my balance. Which would mean I'll have a balance of $863.49. instead I have a balance of $1239.15. Long story short, I was charged twice for one product. This is very inconvenient and I hope such matters can be sorted out soon.

Worst credit card company I have ever had to deal with…
My card was cut off for what they suspected to be fraud which it was not. I tried explaining this to them but they still required several documents from me. I have now sent them nine different documents which they asked for and each time they require a new or different document. It has now been two months and I have still not had my card turned back on. I have sent them utility bills, drivers license, social security card and two separate verification letters and each time they come up with some other form that they need. I have suffered greatly because of all of this because I use my card to run my business. I have still not had anything resolved and no help from anyone in this company. Oh and did I mention this is the second time I have had to deal with this. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Unless you like having a credit card which you cannot use and a company that does nothing to resolve issues I would stay away from Credit One.

Deceptive Collection Practices
I wish I could give no stars! I paid two cards off fully totaling over $1000. I did so in the app expecting to be able to use the cards again once the payments posted. I used one of my cards that shows the balance paid in full with the full credit card amount credited to my account in the app. It declined. I didn’t understand why so I checked the app and swiped again and it declined. I was so embarrassed since I was paying was paying for a car repair. I called the company and was told my accounts were closed. I let them know the app does not show that, no letter was sent, no email, no notification of any sort. I asked when and they said 11/2/2022. I asked how my accounts were closed for 45 days and I was not notified. They let me know a letter was sent in October letting me know if payment was not made my account may be closed. I let them know that was a threat of account closure, not an actual notice that my accounts were closed. Every agent gave me to another agent and the timeframe for a refund request went from 48-72 hours, 3-5 days, to 7-10 days. There was no actual timeframe and this was a request they told me with no guarantee of refund. I asked for a confirmation email and they denied me so I don’t know what’s really going on. I could of paid monthly instead of this big lump sum at once that I cannot use. This is the holidays. That was a deceptive debt collection practice!

Mailed a bill BEFORE physical card!
Got a bill in the mail before my physical card even showed up. Took 3+ weeks to get my card. Was told they would push my first payment date given the timing of the bill vs card. 2 weeks later, still showing a date that is coming up. Was told to wait until AFTER my payment date to resolve this, essentially ruining my credit with a card I’ve not even used yet… Asked for a supervisor, who clearly didn’t grasp the consequences of missing a payment date and he decided to HANG UP ON ME… Get on the phone with a diff supervisor, told her she had 2 options. Fox this or cancel the card effective immediately. She then gave me a provisional credit, which will post in 24-48 hours per her info. So we shall see. Overall terrible experience with a company from the start. I’m still on the fence as to whether I cancel the account or not. I guess we’ll know in 48 hours.

This bank is notorious for being rude and incompetent and I personally tire of their nonsense I was one day late on a payment and they endlessly blew up my phone with like 14 calls in one day.. Next they are stupid because they do not accurately update their end when you make payments I have had this card paid off for a while now and they still haven't updated it so just keep in mind these morons shouldn't exist at this point and proving that credit shouldn't exist either because they just abuse it and I am heavily debating cancelling this garbage all it's doing is damaging my credit anyways at this point way they are doing things so it's a bad joke to say paying them on time makes any difference

Horrible Company. Not worth it if your goal is to increase your score. Here's why! Credit Reporting Agencies determine your score by several KEY factors. Payment History, LOAN TYPE (VERY IMPORTANT) & Available Credit to Usage. Pull all 3 of your Credit Reports & then compare Credit One Bank to other Credit Cards. 1st Problem Credit One Bank does not report to ALL 3 of my Credit Reports, Experian has no account for Credit One. 2. Payment Type will say N/R... If it doesn't say Credit Card Agencies can't determine type of account to give you proper Credit Score because there is nothing to base it off of from Info given to them. 3. Balance is missing from one of them. They appear to be intentionally driving your score DOWN if your a good payor. They don't want to lose you to another Credit Card Company if you pay good. I've had my card since 2019 with Zero late payments and keep balance low which always ends up causing me trouble from this company. Latest problem, I got locked out of my account. Customer Service wasn't available to help. They took a payment over the phone and promised me I wouldn't be charged the phone fee. This issue has been going on for a month now. Latest, I called this Morning to once and for all get help fixing access to my online account & tech support wanted me to allow them to take CONTROL of my computer through a link and then they could fix my problem. Yeah that wasn't going to happen at all. He continued to help me for a few minutes then out of the blue said I have to go now and I will call you back in 24-48 hours to finish up! I have no idea what is going on with this latest weirdness but I would watch your back closely with this company. Its a fee driven company & they are highly driven to do it.

Unbelievable - 6 weeks still no card
Unbelievable. They made sure I got my bill, but they can't manage to get a card in the mail after 6 weeks time? Meanwhile their email system keeps telling me it has shipped. Business 101, don't send the bill and claim you're having shipping trouble. If they can't even handle the basic business function of delivering their product how can I ever trust them with my money and my credit?

Horrible customer service
For building credit, they were useful. Customer service was horrible though! My wife and I both decided after many years we were tired of paying their monthly fees and wanted to cancel our cards. I called to cancel mine, the agent hounded me over and over again with different "deals" and I kept on saying no - finally I told her again I just want to cancel my card - she hung up on me. My wife did not have that issue, but she had over paid her acct, so Credit One sent her a repayment check that bounced! It's not even worth contacting them about this because the hassle is not worth our time.

This company do not lend you a helping…
This company do not lend you a helping hand. They rather see you suffer it out. I advise those please do not reach your 90 days past due, because they will not offer you any help even if you have lost your job or hours have been cut at work. Instead maybe a week later after the 90 days they send someone to your residence with documents for you to sign in front of a notary to make you pay what you owe while still struggling. After asking for help like extension, late fee removal, or even credit protection, or even while card was stolen, they refused to help me before I reached my 90 days. I would not recommend this company to no one if your in this situation. I hope covid doesn’t hit as hard again because they will not help you out.

Since my account was opened this bank has provided EXTREMELY SLOPPY SERVICE. I don't like my credit card numbers or any parts of my social being repeated IF, I ASKED YOU NOT TO! It would be different if I didn't ask, but I always do! They say oh no, I wouldn't repeat your information, privacy is important and most of us works from home so it's not allowed. But, the moment I am done giving my personal info to be verified they say, OK, SO YOU SAID, YOUR CARD NUMBER IS **********. That is just terrible that any organization would be so very relaxed on violating their customers privacy. Credit One Bank is a Bad Business and provides bad Service. THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT "ACTIVE LISTENING IS". And I do not bite my tongue, which means I prefer to SPEAK UP when it comes to my privacy. I mean what I say and in business, I don't joke. The managers gave me FALSE INFORMATION about my account when I called Sept 5th 2022. I was told I had two cards and two accounts when I know good and well, that I only have one acct and one card. I was being spoken to like I was the LIAR!!! When the entire time they were the managers needing more training since they didn't know how to read my account. They shared FALSE INFORMATION about my account simply because they didn't how to read it. I clutched my pearls in shock and I am still angry. Allow me to say this. AT SOME POINT IN A PERSONS LIFE, THEY HAVE LIED BEFORE! yep, that includes your ethnicity too! Now allow me to say this. ONCE I REACHED A CERTAIN AGE, I STOPPED CARING ABOUT MAKING FRIENDS AND LYING TO BE NICE. It's not like, you can pull out a belt and whip me! SO I SPEAK HONESTLY, BOLD IT MAY BE, BUT OH WELL... IT WAS REAL... You will love me or hate me! I am fine either way! I am private, I am honest and I file complaints when the customer service UNsatisfactory. I am not even looking for great although I deserve it. So trust me now or waste your time later! I have an account with Credit One Bank and it was the biggest mistake that I have made when I opened that account. You rarely get what you call for and that is so YOU WON'T CALL! They do that on purpose! I AM DISCONNECTED MORE THAN I AM LIED TOO. Both are constant! I filed a complaint recently since my last 4 of my current card was being shared out loud by a manager Dominick. Not just that card, be since they all stated that I have two cards and two accounts he wanted to prove it. So out loud he shared a card he claimed was in my possession. DOES THAT MAKE IT RIGHT IF IT WAS? And it was not mailed to be at that time, he just read my account wrong! This bank has agents who does racially profile and will disconnect your call 95% of the time if you ask for a supervisor. If I get to a supervisor, i have to speak to people like DEMI who heard my reason for calling 09/05/2022 and responded with, "I don't want to hear it". My complaints are always valid and I have never been able to provide a COMPLIMENT. Credit One Bank service is garbage! It's lousy and your information will be compromised and I speak by experience since it happened to me! Now when I call this bank, customer service either says they are closed or they tell me they can not help me going forward. I asked why and I was told it was because I filed a complaint. SO TO RETALIATE, THEY DECIDED TO MAKE SURE I AM GIVEN A HARD TIME FROM NOW ON... When I call, I have to be transferred to the corporate office and since my account isn't their either anymore, they transfer me to the PRESIDENTIAL DEPT. There is only one person in charge of my account and she's never available. So for what ever the reason is when I call, it's too bad because no one helps me. I am being penalized due to this bank violating my privacy and I reporting them as I should!!!! I reported them to BBB, CFPB and now Trust Pilot. So because I am dealing with this and it's stressful. They are losing a customer! SIMPLE AND PLAIN! Because I WILL NOT jump through hoops to get poor customer service in return. I should have canceled 2 years ago. I should have never allowed my account to build history. But now I welcome a credit score DROP! No matter what, since I have been treated poorly, nothing will make me keep my account open once it's paid off. And guess what? I am also almost there! MAJOR ISSUED ACCURED 09/05/2022

Horrible Company. Overcharge on all their fees. The worst is if you have your wallet stolen they charge you $25 to get another card. Which is ridiculous so as soon as I have my balance paid I will be canceling my card. I'm not paying the $25 to get a replacement card that's ridiculous. Evidently they don't care about losing customers.

Terrible Customer Service
If I could give no stars I would. Their customer service is TERRIBLE! I’ve only spoke with 1 customer service representative that was ever able to help me. I will be canceling my card soon and will be glad to be free of all their issues. You could have a minor issue and their service alone will make you want to just cancel and leave. They don’t understand about importance and emergencies and they don’t care. They will hang up on you mid call if you start to become upset and you will have to go through the whole process again of getting ahold of someone again just to explain everything all over again. The supervisors don’t have access to anything so they are useless and pointless to ask to speak to them.

Complete waste of time
Complete waste of time. Zero communication from them unless you call. Then they will tell you what they need. Sent copy of my driver's license. They couldn't read it. I waited weeks then I called them. Then they told me about the problem. Sent what they wanted, exactly what they asked for, waited another couple of weeks. Now they want something else. I told them their communication is non existent and I don't feel comfortable with this anymore. I would like my deposit back, they told me it would take 30 days for my refund to to mailed to me. 45 days later the money is still in the account and it's still open. But I can't use it.

This card and company are literally…
This card and company are literally useless. My car broke down and I needed this card for a rental vehicle. I knew that it would be a huge balance with the rental $400 hold, so I made a payment to make up for the amount the rental would cost me and I’d need the rental for a few weeks. My payment was made via their “Express” pay, which is an extra $4.95 and is supposed to instantly push your payments through. Instead, my account is now showing a negative balance even though you can clearly see that my payment had posted. When I called to ask them why I had a negative balance, I was told that my payment didn’t post and that I could make a payment in 3 days… (???) Why would I be paying you guys yet again for a payment that I had already made? But when I questioned that stupid logic, the rep clearly didn’t understand. I was told that I could be refunded what I’ve paid but it would be by mail!!!! I EXPEDITED THIS PAYMENT AND I HAVE TO WAIT FOR A MAILED REFUND????? This rep was reading from a script and clearly didn’t comprehend what I was telling her. Look elsewhere for a credit card because they clearly take advantage of people trying to rebuild credit. At some point this company has to be cognizant of the negative connotations and reputation that they have and should start making positive changes. They don’t seem to care about screwing over their customers because they know that there will always be dummies like me who will read the “outstanding approval odds” on credit karma and apply for their products like suckers.

They can't get 5 stars, because of my early experiences at initial "account opening" (opened an account, sent me a card, and made me jump through hoops in order to use it), and the initial fees. AND, when I asked for a credit line increase, on my AMEX... denied, because "not enough time having the card". That being said, shortly afterwards, pre-approved for their Visa (still fees, but)..... I have worked for MAJOR Corporate companies, where I have had cards, one including an AMEX. Never before would I have thought that I could have an American Express Card, on my OWN, especially with "non-perfect credit". No, it isn't "unlimited", WHICH IS GREAT FOR ME: makes me be financial responsible, AND helps my credit, AND... find it kind of cool, when I carry/use it, once in a while (I love Amtrak, and other things) to (especially if I am profiled, for wearing jeans, tennis shoes, and a t or sweatshirt, and ask "do you accept American Express?" I know that is "buji" but Me (limited budget, on my VA disability) and a good friend of mine (that has a MUCH LARGER budget) get a kick out of it. To some of the negative experiences (other than what I already explained): I have not had a problem with having payments posted, etc. Even when (once) I went over my limit, I was not charged an over the limit fee. Their interest rates are "reasonable"... all things considered (Generally I use Capital One (no interest on purchases until 2023, for me). Have not had to deal with their outsourced "customer service" SINCE the beginning (I agree with, and have had some of the same experiences that others have posted). To me, that is a sign of good. If I have a need, to call you (the correct number is written on the back of your card), I am generally not in a "good mood", anyway. I say, "generally" because I sometimes call Customer Service, just to say "hi, if I can take time to call and complain, then I can take time to give a compliment. Annual fees: I was fortunate to sign up (through Experian) with one that has no annual fee (Had a set-up fee, and the Visa....but)... ALL in all, I would reccomend getting one of the UNSECURED cards, and do what I do: store it away, keep it for emergencies, charge some things (btw.. if you book a hotel on booking, you get a better discount), pay your bill, on time, and go from there. BTW.. only took a week for me to get my PIN. Didn't need it, but tested it... just in case.. "in a bind", MANY places will not accept American Express, but most ATM's will :-)... INTERNATIONALLY... $10/5% whichever is greater on cash advances...

Wish I never opened this account. Big mistake. Horrible customer service. Long story short I have recently went through a hardship as well as affected by hurricane Ian. You would think these people would have some kind of compassion, instead I'm hit with $90 in late fees and a mark on my credit. Do NOT get this card!! There are better options!! Do your homework!! Very bad experience i have in this bank. Do not ever open an account with them. They always have reasons to charge you monthly. They charge you annual fee on a monthly basis and when you try to pay online through your personal account access they wont take payment and you will end up paying late fees.. I end up giving them money every month even if I do not owe this bank a penny.. such a disgrace.. had i known if that is how they operate I would never think of opening an account with them.. poor customer service .. dont have empathy on their clients.

Don't Waste Your Time
I have had issues in the past with them and I still have ongoing issues. This company is a complete generic version of capital one. I have had issues being in and out of work and they have zero ways of helping anyone because they only care about profits not about what’s happening around the world . I have never been offered a payment plan or any plan at that for the pandemic that is still unraveling because they have none, nothing established to help hundreds of struggling clients they have. Instead consistently add on late fees and call over ten times in one day for payment. Customer Service and Upper Management has a stiff upper echelon attitude very bigoted as if they are better than you and only pretend to care about your situation when it’s beneficial to them . I have advised several reps several times about what’s going on and why they have not received a payment they are completely tone deaf as to what’s going on in the world and could give a rats ass about anything besides their money .

Abruptly closed my account
I had no issues paying my balance and was actually building my credit a little by using this card but for literally no reason, they closed my account. No explanation just threw it on my credit as a negative mark. Ive never had another company do this and it really just makes no sense. I wouldn't use them again for the shady way of doing business.

I do not recommend getting a card through them. I got a credit card with a $300 limit. The fees are outrageous. They charge you more money to make a payment on your bill. They will blow up your phone the day your payment is due starting at 8am. They called me 26 times the day my payment was due as if I needed a reminder. I finally answered the phone, I was at work hiding in a room so I could answer the phone and the guy tried to get me to make my payment I told him I was at work that I would make my payment after work and he wouldn’t accept my answer and told me I could make it now while I was on the phone with him and I told him I was hiding in a room because he has called my phone 26 times and I didn’t appreciate it. He STILL didn’t accept my answer of me saying I’d make my payment after work and I had to get rude with him. This is extremely POOR customer service ! And HARASSMENT ! I will be closing this credit card as soon as I pay off the $200 I owe. Completely uncalled for to be blowing up someone’s phone the day their payment is due and calling more then 3 times a day is unprofessional ! I will be filing a complaint as well. Don’t get a credit card through this company, you will regret it.

According to their fine print, you may change your payment once, after your first billing cycle. I need to change my due date by 3 days to match my paydays and tried- unfortunately it takes up to 2 billing cycles before it takes effect? How is this helpful? There is zero reason for this delay, as evidenced by the ability other companies have; it also renders this option pointless as I would obviously like to be on time NOW. Also, they charge you a $4.95 customer service fee to make an immediate payment, yet only $100 of your immediate payment is available; the rest still takes 7 days to become available?! So again, an absolutely horrible customer service policy. As it is, after making a regular payment, which comes out of my bank immediately, it still takes 7 days to become available. I will unfortunately be 3 days late on this upcoming bill, but it will be the last and only because I'm not using this card again.

Card is not worth the Customer Service
Their customer service makes me want to close my account. It just isn’t worth it if something goes wrong. I successfully filed a claim with the fraud department for a number of charges on my card that were not approved. This totaled thousands but the rep said he would quickly get rid of the charges and send me a new card number with my credit $ replaced. Turns out he never left a record of this. In the system,He just recorded that I had a lost card. So, when one of the amounts showed up again months later, on my NEW CARD which the charging company had no access to, I asked them to review the claim and see What happened. There was no record of the conversation we had and no claim. I had to start the dispute for this amount all over again. Oh and no credit this time- which maxed out my card. Oh and it’s going to take 30-60 days… insane. I called so many times because the proof of this happening is in my bank statements. They don’t care. Told me not to worry about it. I am lost for words at this point and will plead on my hands and knees to anyone I know to not get a card with you guys.

This company preys on poor people
Awful customer service! They charge you in order to make a quick payment which is clearly a scam in order to make people desperate for purchasing power even poorer. The only compliment I can pass along is that they have attractive card designs. Things got even worse when I called one day because of them erroneously reporting me as 30 days late on a payment, further damaging my already abysmal credit score. They then told me they're also closing my account because of a few returned payments, DESPITE the fact that I have always paid on time and have regularly gotten my account balance to zero. While sobbing on the phone to customer service they told me I couldn't do anything to stop them from closing the account, and that it couldn't be reinstated either. This company is so predatory and they can't even do the bare minimum for the well disciplined customers like me.

Ive had my credit one acct. For a little over a year now and they are wonderful! Ive been very diligent in paying my card down. And when i asked for a credit line increase i got it in 20 minutes. More than i even asked for. They have always had great customer service. I will be keeping my card with them but canceling my capital one. Ive recommend them to several people now and rhey have credit one cards and could not be happier. Tks credit one great job keep it up!

Omg they gave me a chance to rebuild my credit, on what freaking planet. First off no in where in any of my paperwork can I find where they inform there is a $75 annual fee on top of a $19.25 monthly maintenance fee. I'm sorry what exactly are you maintaining to charge me a fee for exactly? Not to mention what's the point of a credit limit if you fraudulently allow it to go over the designated amount. Which I can't even figure out how or even find where or how it went over the designated amount. I've never been late on my payments, yet I've been charged a late fee. I have even paid my payments early and way over the minimum fee. I've actually only used my card on posh mark and I had it paid off so I'm at this moment trying to figure out how in the hell it's over the limit as well as maxed out of plus charges for interest. Which by the way is insanely high. There are absolutely no new charges on my dam statement not a freaking one and it shows that I've made my payments so it doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Whenever I'm finally able to speak to someone they don't even want to hear what I'm saying. In turn I can barley understand what their saying I mean come on at least outsource with individuals who's accents aren't so thick I'm constantly asking for them to repeat what they just said. My credit limit is only $300 I've paid over $150 within the past two weeks yet my available balance to use is -$2.00 with a remaining balance of$201+ change how is that even possible. Oh right and they neglect to inform you that it takes 5-7 days to determine if your bank account is real & to do that they send you two small amounts less then 1.00 each and you have to respond back to them with each amount that they deposit. So making your first payment is ridiculous and causes you to have a late fee which they say they will reimburse you but they don't. This is the worst company ever to do business with. I highly recommend steering clear of this company as possible. My card has already been shredded and I'll be cancelling as soon as I get the fraudulent charges paid off. How is this company even still in business they need to be in prison they are thieves.

I opened one account with CREDIT ONE BANK and although that was the biggest mistake, it is still only one. I called for a different reason on 09/05/2022 and since I do not deal with agents anymore since they do not listen and will repeat your personal information. **1st call, I was transferred to *Angelica the Supv, she asked for the last 4 of my card and I asked for nothing to be repeated and so she repeated my card number. She then said which account are you referring to. I stated that I only have one account and one card and from there she accused me of knowing about the 2nd account and 2nd card. I asked for her manager. *Mark came to the line agreeing with the supervisor which meant they were both clowns and incompetent since I only opened ONE ACCT. They didn't know how to do their jobs! THAT'S A PROBLEM! I called again and transferred to Katherine the Supv. who allowed me to speak and at the end she wanted to transfer me to her manager, SHE NEVER VERIFIED MY ACCOUNT. *Dominik the manager answered the call and stated that I did not have a 2nd acct and I do have a 2nd card. I stated AGAIN, I opened ONE ACCOUNT AND I HAVE ONE CARD!!! I do not like my card numbers repeated so this clown decided to not verify my account and share what the last 4 of my card numbers are and the last 4 of the card he claimed I had. So he shared both to a caller he never verified. THAT'S A PROBLEM! In that entire call no one verified me. I stated to this manager everyone including him will be reported and he stated GO RIGHT AHEAD AND MAKE SURE TO MENTION THAT I AM A MANAGER AND THEN GAVE ME HIS EMPLOYEE ID NUMBER. 3rd call, I was transferred *Demi the Supv answered and heard me out and cut me off in the middle and said, "I REALLY DO NOT WANT TO HEAR YOUR RANTING". I stated you need to me more professional and less TACKY! You have a job to do! I asked for her manager and she stated she didn't want to transfer me to a manager and said, "ALL YOU ARE GOING TO DO IS HANG UP AND CALL BACK AND ASK FOR ANOTHER MANAGER"! I said your negative comments are best kept to yourself and now I will be adding you to my complaints for being IGNORANT. She stated she wanted to have the corp office call me, I requested for a manager and that is where I was going! She didn't verify my account in this call before she transferred me. *Ken the manager answered and shared that Demi the Supv. called me A CONFUSED CUSTOMER!!!!!!!! Then he stated that I only have ONE ACCOUNT AND ONE CARD AND THAT THE SUPERVISORS AND MANAGERS WERE WRONG AND DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO READ THE SCREEN TO GIVE CORRECT INFORMATION. I asked Ken how come he didn't verify my account, so he transferred me to his manager. *Elma the Sr Manager came to the line and I had to explain ALL OVER AGAIN AND THIS TIME REQUESTED TO FILE COMPLAINTS. At the end she stated, "I agree with Ken". I said Ken didn't verify my account either! The call went silent! I also stated Dominick shared my the last 4 of my card number and the last 4 of the new card that is coming without that call being verified. SHE STATED, HE DIDN'T NEED TO SINCE THE SUPERVISOR VERIFIED YOUR ACCOUNT. I stated that she did not verify my account and ask me first before before you assume and so now there are two calls on 09/05/2022 where my account wasn't verified. Then she began LYING! I REJECTED THEM AND HER! She stated that as long as you type in the last 4 of your social in the automated system, you are verified! So I said, the explain why Angelica asked for the last 4 of my credit card number and repeated when I asked her not to? Then Elma said, OH correction! When the system verifies you, all you need to do is confirm your name and give the last 4 of your SSN. I So I repeated, the why did she ask for my credit card number? Elma because frustrated that she was caught in her lies! So she said, "YOU'RE MISUNDERSTANDING ME". I stated people say that when they are WRONG about something and it's REJECTED! I understood YOU LIED clearly, THERE IS NO MISUNDERSTANDINGS. You're just getting caught in your lies and changing your story and on a recorded call. So I will ask for it to be monitored since you need help with your lie. As clear as she lied is as clear as I heard her! I told her she will be added to my complaint. She stated that the Verification process changed in August. So I said, then stick with the change and DO NOT CHANE IT, TO MAKE THE CLOWNS I SPOKE TO LOOK BETTER BECAUSE THEY WONT! They failed! And I still do not have two accounts or two cards. The call went SILENT! I said I want my complaints to go in and then she said, she didn't know what to type. Brad called 09/06 and Zack 09/07 THEY DIDN'T VERIFY MY ACCT AND TRIED GETTING ME TO ACCEPT CHANGES! Credit One Bank is a JOKE and now I am contacting the Attorney Generals Office because I checked my Transunion Account and I saw two accounts from CREDIT ONE BANK. Now we're going to have a problem, including all accounts closed!

Great for credit building, but horrible for actual use.
I've only ever twice been able to successfully sign into their online account access. The first time was when I set it up, the second upon my second login. After that, it says my username or password is incorrect (I know it isn't, it's saved in my Google Passwords...) Anyways, I successfully login and *BAM* wants me to verify via text. "Alright," I think, "this is fine." I put in the 6-digit code they sent to me, click "remember this browser," and give it a nickname. "Incorrect username or password." That's off... I reconsider and doubt my memory, it says it's incorrect, so I do "Forgot username or password?" Then, I see that, indeed, my username was correct, but proceed for the temporary password thinking perhaps it MUST have been the password. I apply the temporary password with my doubly-checked username and it says, "Access to your account has been temporarily suspended. Please call Customer Service at 1-877-825-3242." Whoa! What just happened? I then proceed to call the number to only get an Automated bot who gives me no option to actually speak to a representative about an issue, as well as not being voice-activated. I then call a few times, doing their rodeo until I became fed-up with the bot and spammed star until the bot forwarded me to someone who answered. Useless as the bot! I can accept the fact that they outsource their labor to those overseas, I can accept not everyone has perfect English. In fact, I expect it. However, what is the point of being told by the website to contact an almost uncontactable customer service line if they cannot even help you with your issue? A 24-hour ban on my account is definitely not what I want to hear when I'm just trying to access my account balance so I know how much I have so I can go buy diapers. Now, my baby is wearing his last diaper and I cannot buy more because I now have to wait until 6PM-EST tomorrow to access my account. I had to wait 5 days before I even got the balance to be available after paying more than the amount requested as a minimum before the due date, but now I can't even see the balance to use the money for ANOTHER day. "I'm sorry, but I cannot lift the ban as it is automatic from the system." I ask, "can your manager lift the ban?" He replies, "no, none of us can. Not me, not my supervisor. You just have to wait until tomorrow evening to try again." I had explained how I got locked out, what happened, but he simply stated, "while it may actually have been the system's fault you were wrongly locked out, I cannot do anything about it." I then said, "can you at least alert your supervisor that it is hard to even get access to a human representative?" Here's the kicker: "We already know some of our users find it hard to access a representative. You may find it easier to contact us next time by clicking the 'pay with a debit card' option when it comes up, then when a person answers, let them know to forward you here, to customer representative call center, instead." Yup, that just happened. Me, being the person I am decides to press this. "So you already know that pretty much no one can get in touch with you guys via your automated system?" He then confirms my rhetorical question with: "Yes ma'am." Shocker. I then proceeded to let him know I will be paying off and cancelling my account because this is all the worst experiences I've ever had with a bank. Yeet!

I have had Credit One Bank since 2019 and this is what they have done to me. I call and during verification, I ASK EVERYONE TO NOT REPEAT MY INFO. They repeat it anyway! SO THERE'S NO PRIVACY OR CLASS I can check my account and not see my payment reflect my available balance or other purchases since they do not have a decent system to prevent you from calling. I called today 09/05/2022 to ask about my payment not reflecting my available credit. I was transferred to a supervisor since I do not deal with the agents anymore! I was transferred to Angelica and she wanted the last 4 of my card number. I asked her to not repeat it AND THEN SHE REPEATED IT! She stated that I have TWO ACCOUNTS WHEN I ONLY HAVE ONE! She told me that I called in Aug and requested a replacement when I did not! She said YOU HAVE TWO CARDS when i don't! She wasted my time providing false information I asked for a manager and Mark came to the phone agreeing with her and saying YOU DO HAVE TWO ACCOUNTS WHEN I DO NOT! He gave me the credit limits to both accounts and he stated that I ordered a replacement card when i did not! I disconnected the call to call again since I was not getting a clear answer to why I now have to accounts. I called again and since I do not deal with the agents I was transferred to Katherine who didn't verify my account like Angelica did even though she repeated my card number. No no verification from Katherine and after explaining the problem she transferred me to a Manager Dominick who also did not verify my account. He then stated that I only have one account. After an SUPERVISOR AND MANAGER STATED THAT I HAVE TWO ACCOUNTS. Dominick decided to go a bit further. He not only shared my current card number to me he also shared some numbers on the new card that has not been sent. So now my information is shared WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION. He didn't care and he decided to share his ID # to prove he did not care! I took it and now they all will be reported. I called again since I have not been helped! That agent transferred me to a supervisor named Demi, who heard my complaint and then said, "SHE DON'T WANT TO HEAR MY RANTING". She shared more of her negative thoughts and then starting speaking while I was speaking and said she tried to help and I refused. I said, your negative comments are garbage and they will be reported and so she began interrupting again and in the middle of me speaking she placed me on hold. That is why she is added to my complaint. Poor customer service will always be reported! I was transferred to Ken and he is a manager and also failed at Verifying my account. He stated that Demi said she has a CONFUSED CUSTOMER ON THE LINE! Demi is very tacky and unprofessional He said, you do not have a second account and you have not been sent that 2nd card yet! Which means the supervisor and manager who was sure I had the card and was sure that I had a second account needs to be trained again, since they don't know enough to take a phone call! I asked Ken for a Manager since he was busy sharing my information without verifying my account and he transferred me to Elma the Sr. Manager. She heard my complaint and then said, she agrees with Ken! So she agrees that he didn't have to verify my acct. Then she said, the supervisors states that they have verified your account that is why the manager doesn't have to! She tried to prevent me from saying, "what happens if the account was not verified"? She stated then that will be a problem! I told her I want to file a complaint because she heard me say to her that my account was not verified by two manager and card info was shared by a supervisor and manager. So then she changed her excuses to we changed the verification process. We no longer need to get your information if you enter the last 4 of your social on the IVR. We only ask for the customers name. I explained that Angelica still asked for the last 4 of my Credit Card number. Then Elma changed her excuse again by saying, after the IVR system verifies you, the only thing we need is your name and the last 4 of your social. When I repeated that info again that Angelica asked for the last 4 of my Credit Card number, she responded with, that is what I am saying! THAT ISN'T WHAT SHE SAID! Her excuses only made me add ELMA to my complaint. Simply because she kept lying!!! I told her I want to file my complaint at that time it was 10:03 PM 08/05/2022 and Elma the Sr Manager said, I don't know what to put. I am just going to say, that you are going to file a complaint! This manager didn't see that sharing incorrect information to a customer as a problem! NEVER tell a customer that they have two accounts IF THEY DO NOT! NEVER ARGUE WITH THE CUSTOMER TELLING THEM THEY HAVE A 2ND CARD. And now Elma who doesn't see a problem! I am FILING COMPLAINTS until they start seeing THE PROBLEM! This only proves that this Tacky little company Hires ANYONE! Your info isn't safe!

I can understand all the negative…
I can understand all the negative reviews. There are people that may have a probable concern. However, they are great if you need them to help with a charge back for not received items or defective items. They go to work and fight for the customer unlike big banks that usually just side with the vendor. Twice in the last year I had to file chargebacks and they where fantastic in that area and won both of my cases.

They are about as bare bones as it gets when it comes to a credit card company. Be sure you read everything in the TOS and cover yourself for all due dates, and track monthly for any strange fees. They charge you fees for credit increases, or if you lose your card. Any thing they can, they charge you for it. It's not a great company, but if you need some extra credit it's okay at absolute best.

Working for a credit card company and knowing how things work, this company doesn't have a clue. It is like buying a Ferrari off Wish.com. Customer service is the worst I have ever seen. Payments take five plus days to be posted to the account even after they withdraw it from your bank. I just opened the account and am regretting it every day. They don't know the difference between processing and posted. I will not be using this card if they actually take my payments and will pay the annual fee off yearly just to keep it open. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY!! DON"T BELIEVE ALL THE POSITIVE BOT REVIEWS!!

This company has fraudulently and knowingly stolen my name and personal information and stolen money from my personal bank account and refuses to reimburse the theft and continues lying to the credit bureaus. They have ZERO employees that speak clear concise English, it's nearly impossible to get anyone to answer the phone anyway because the system is 99.100% automated and on the exceedingly rare occasion you get a human their accent is thicker than chocolate and they pretend not to understand you and refuse to change any information. They pretend they're going to put a supervisor on the line when you complain, and it's actually just them putting you on hold before the same person who pretended not to understand you comes back on giving the same lies for answers. They have absolutely the worst customer service ever. I was locked out of my online account and it told me to call a number. I did and could only speak with a robot. I finally found another number and got a customer service person that said he couldn't get me back into my account. That I had to wait 24 hours and it would unlock. I tried to explain that wouldn't help but he just didn't want to listen.

I do not recommend this card for anyone.Had some one hack my card use several hundred dollars they did alert me as well as give me credit BUT the next month charged me again saying that after investigating they determined that I was liable for the charges even though the charges were in Texas and I live in Ky. I’ll be paying what I owe and will cancel this card. A one star is too good for them would give a 0 if possible STAY AWAY FROM THIS CARD. Customer service sucks can’t hardly understand anything they say

Suboptimal
This credit card is only useful if you're building credit. Once you do that, dump it! I've had a history of 100% on-time payments with this company and pay off my balance every month. And STILL, they don't raise my credit limit after two years and charge a $39 annual fee. Payments don't post for days, the website goes offline frequently for "maintenance" and the phone support is dismal. Will definitely be cancelling this one before the next annual fee is charged.

great card for rebuilding credit
I applied for this card after going through a rough period when I could not qualify for a credit card. I needed one to rent a car and they took a chance on me. My credit limit at the time was $500. I made my payments on time and my credit line kept increasing. Sure, their fees are high but if you are rebuilding your credit, pay your bill on time and your credit score will increase. My credit score is now in the 770's and my line of credit is $2850. I will always be grateful for their wiliness to take a chance on me.

Absolutely terrible. Won’t let you make a payment on your card cause you’re only allowed so many in one month? WTH?! So they can charge you more money in interest. Tried to find a customer service number…good luck! (877)825-3242 Leaving the number here cause they don’t want you to call. Buried in the app. Once I spent time finding the said number they wanted to charge me $4.95? Again WTH?! How is this legal? Once I finally got through their maze of automated robot BS and after a ‘brief hold’ which was 30 minutes I got a rep who made it sound like he was doing me a favor by waiving the fee to pay the amount on the account. Wow! Thank you soooooo much for allowing me to make a payment and not get ripped off for more interest! 🙄 Asked to cancel…can’t, cause some other rep has to do it? So more holding for 15 minutes. Amazing! A rep can take sensitive info to pay off the balance but somehow can’t push a button to cancel my service?!?? 🙄 Finally got the ‘specialist’ and was given the run around sales BS…kept telling him I want to cancel. Had to actually tell him that not only am I frustrated with this service but I was getting angry. Had to go through some legal jargon nonsense like I was ordering cable service or something. Finally cancelled! 50 minutes after I initially started the call. Told me they will send a notification in mail. Asked if I have to jump through more hoops and fill out something via snail mail to confirm? Was told no but at this point I’m skeptical. All in all just stay away from this predatory bank. Pathetic! This kind of banking shouldn’t be allowed.

Taking 7-10 business days to post ACH payment
I just obtained this card approximately 1 month ago. They immediately assessed the $39 annual fee. I put a few charges on the card and then made arrangements through my bank’s online bill pay to pay the full balance before I even received my first bill. My bank sent my payment via ACH to Credit One Bank on June 21, 2022. As of today, June 30, 2022, Credit One Bank has NOT posted my payment yet!! I obtained the ACH trace number from my bank and called Credit One’s CS. I provided them with all the information above and was told that they have 7-10 business days to process an ACH payment and I could contact them again in 2 business days if the payment has not posted. I was direct with the CS rep and told her that was ridiculous, that they clearly have posted my payment to someone else’s account, and I expect my payment to be posted on 06-21-22 when they received the payment electronically. I ended the call with CS and checked the ABA standards for this situation. They say that financial institutions can choose to have ACH credits processed and delivered within the same day or in one to two business days. NOT 7-10 business days as Credit One CS told me. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CARD TO ANYONE!

I had applied for this credit card because I wanted to help my credit grow and I never NEVER got my card I kept calling them to CANCEL IT because it took for EVER! And the WORST part was I GOT a BILL TODAY for the annual fee for a card I NEVER GOT AND THAT I HAD ALREADY CANCEL A MONTH SOONER. I NEVER activated the card or anything! When I spoke with the “SUPERVISOR” he said I had to talk to a “special agent” to be able to cancel it. He pretended to transfer me but it was him acting as the “special agent” so finally I spoke with this clown. And he didn’t want to cancel my account I had to keep telling him to CANCEL it over and over again and to remove that 75$ annual charge for the account I NEVER ACTIVATED. He then told me he could even increase my credit to 400$ I TOLD HIM NOOOO. That I DONT WANT TO HEAR IT JUST CANCEL IT. ANYONE THATS THINKING OF GETTING A CREDIT CARD DO NOT USE CREDIT ONE!! They ARE SCAMMERS!!! BEWARE!!

I applied for this card upon coming out of bankruptcy because I thought might be a good way to rebuild my credit. I called the first time to dispute an item that was supposed to be canceled. I was told they didn't see the item on charge even though I looked at it on my transaction list and still not reversed. the rep said " I don't see anything, so have a nice day ...goodbye: and hung up on me. decided to write a letter to dispute afterward. nearly three weeks later they sent me a letter requesting more information. Which I promptly sent back. After more weeks of waiting, I decided to call them and after getting disconnected several times I was greeted by women that put me through the same routine all over again. At the near end of our call when I asked her why the rest of the correspondence was never answered ...she said "actually this was the first time you disputed the transaction" I nearly flipped my lid and demanded to speak to a supervisor, which was not much better at listening either. needless to say, we started all over again.... it was a maddening experience. Avoid this bank at all costs.

Be careful doing business with them. Credit One Bank's services is terrible, they will charged you on everything including increasing your credit line, which that supposed to be free. Also, if credit One Bank send you more than one credit card do not activate it. You're not supposed to have more than one credit card from the same bank. Their plan is to put you in debt, and I am glad I got rid of them.

If I can give them zero stars I would may 10th I payed in full and closed my account. today is 6/3/2022 and when I logged in to account to check top right said account closed but can be "reinstated" and now a $1.45 charge for "interest fee" . I had to call the supervisor and they stated 24-48 hours for fees to be removed and wait another month before it is send to all 3 credit bureau for it to be updated .This company is what you call "Sharks" and they charge excessive hidden fees it is not worth having this card

I have tried to cancel my card several times but I now live outside of the USA. I moved to the UK to study a Masters degree so over the last few years I have not been able to email, call, or message Credit One to cancel this credit card. I have had a very good score until recently when their application has said that it is under maintenance. It has been that way since February... I was not able to login online as I don't have access to the website from the UK. This company is a fraud and they do not have a valid international number or email and no way of accessing my details online.

Predatory. It took me years to pay off this card but I finally did. Tried to call to cancel it and they hung up on me twice. This card has all kind of hidden fees and a very high interest rate. They charge you a fee to accept a credit increase. I would NOT recommend.

Getting a credit balance back when card holder dies
My brother-in-law died in September of last year and his sister was appointed by the court as Personal Representative of his estate. He had a secured Credit One Credit Card with a $210.96 "credit balance". A letter was to Credit One customer service (now that's a misnomer) on 2/4/22 with her letters of appointment. No response. P/C on 3/15/22 and she was told they could only communicate with a letter, which I would received in 7-10 days. No letter after 30 days. P/C again on 4/18/22, and she got the same answer. Asked to speak to a manager and was told NO ONE could speak with her and she had to wait for the "letter". It is now May 9, and still no "letter". This organization appears to be great at taking secured money in, but bad and giving it back, when a card is cancelled. She would love to hear from anyone from Credit One and they can contact her through my email.

Fine so far with one exception
Process to get a card took about 3 weeks, so a little slow. Set up was easy enough. Most reviews, I suspect, are poor because people who use this bank are not good with their finances. They always make late payments, overdraw their accounts, etc. So, take all the poor reviews with a grain of salt. The one complaint I have is their use of India call centers.... can hardly understand what they say and you have to repeat information at least 2x during the call. It does not make for a good customer experience but clearly it is far cheaper to outsource than hire US employees. They tell you to set up the account online to activate the card - the card does not activate in this manner. In fact, you have to call into the India call center to activate the card. If anything changes as I begin using the card, I will update my review.

Just robbery, im on the hook for $400 credit limit but really its only $200 sad dollars after they get done robbing you with fees. They absolutely should be ashamed for basically acting like they are trying to help when one else willbut then charging insane fees on top of the persons already terrible credit situation? I would never do business with this bank outside of this and would never do it again cause frankly i was under the impression it was only $100 fee i knew $200 was just to bad to be true but obviously it is.

IF I could give negative stars I would, NEVER AGAIN will I EVER consider this company or refer anyone to it. I have been with this company for quite some time, I moved and that's when things all started to go downhill REALLY QUICKLY! They are the most difficult to get in touch with, my card has been LOCKED for over a year now because I moved, they have requested a bill, my id, my social, I have been sending in documents for over a year for them to verify it is me for them to unlock it. I have made all my payments on time, I have an available balance on the card I cant even USE because they flagged it until they can verify my identify. I have provided MORE THAN ENOUGH verification (everything they asked for and more JUST to make sure I was covered and would have no further issues) I closed my account due to this. I love the card, the security is IMPOSSIBLE DONT EVER MOVE OUT OF STATE otherwise you will never get the card unlocked even with government paperwork, vehicle registration, a bill, a birth certificate and all valid forms of ID and a social security card. You are better going off somewhere else. This has become so much of a headache having a card locked for NO reason for over a year.... this company is a COMPLETE JOKE. Nobody will ever call you to help you, no-one will let you know any documents were received, takes 14 days for them to "review" paperwork and then by that time they want another bill that is current, so every time you submit paperwork it takes too long for them to review it and want another bill and another. It's the same cycle over and over until you want to rip your hair out.

This card and company is just scam!!!!! I made a purchase, I was making payments, and then I decided to pay off the balance completely, it went down to a 0 balance! Then, I received a statement for 1.46 I’m like how? But ok I paid it. Months later I tried to use it, the site stated my card was reported lost or stolen. I called them and the rep go tell me, my card was canceled for non payment. How if the card is paid off, it’s no balance due, I haven’t received any notice, and they haven’t called trying to collect. They just canceled for no reason, and I’m afraid how that may even look on my credit as they closed for no reason and they lying about it. I will never use them again. They suppose to help people build their credit instead they tear them down worse.

Incompetent in every category
This is a horrible company. You continuously have to use you entire social. Security risk doesn't trump that when approved the give you a card with 14% of what the offer. This card targets those with bad or limited credit. It will hold those same people back. With no guarantee for increase, the cost of the card surly outweighs the 2% cash back on gas and 1% other stuff. This card is a joke. The company is D- at best. Just be patient with other companies. It takes time. Don't let Credit one bank waste your's. Just try to write a review and see how hard it is to find where you can write 1. They have no way to review on their website, yet boast 4.4 stars and show a lot of reviews. Yelp 1star everything else I saw wasn't over 2 stars.Pull the wool from your eyes. This company is a sham. The people that reviewed that it's good are admitting to having wrecked credit and glad that anyone would take a chance on them. Don't take it from the financially ignorant, or negligent. It's not worth it. Just like a casino set up to make money. The risks far outweighs the rewards. This company sets you up for failure. To trust them is a poor financial decision. Oh costumer service is pretty bad too. Automated service meets the DMV, then Habib tells you good morning at 3pm. Of course there was holding. 14 times I said I would like to cancel the card that they were trying to send me. If you would like to cancel your offer... Yes! Ok if you would like for me to cancel I can. Yes on and on. They don't give you a credit limit until they're sending the card.

This card sucks rocks. High annual fee. It was ok to build credit, but don’t dare be even 1 minute late with your payment. So, I have this “credit card” with a tiny wenn limit of $300 and an annual fee of $99. So, just cancel it, right? Wrong. You can’t cancel it. Well, in theory you can, but I have never had the luck to get through to the final step, if it even exists. First, after mastering the “our menu has recently changed”, you might get lucky and actually speak to someone on the second or third try. You will get disconnected at least once. When you finally do get through, you will speak to a person who has no intention of letting you cancel your card. Once, they changed the annual fee to monthly. and said if I still wanted to cancel, I should call back in 30 days. I said I don’t need 30 days, I want to cancel the card. Ok, but you will have to call another number. Surprise, the other number is always busy. So, I give up and figure I will try again someday. They charge me $8.25 a month for a card I don’t need. And the will charge interest on their own fee starting the day it posts. I guess you could pay some amount in advance and avoid the interest on their own fees. Bottom line, unless your time is worth nothing, it is cheaper just to keep paying for a card you never use than to spend hours trying to cancel it. And that is what they are banking on. Waste so much of your time to stop a $8.25 monthly charge, that you will just give up and keep paying them. Almost like protection money. Because, if you just say F@&K ‘em and stop paying, they will F@&K your credit rating into oblivion. Just keep reading and see what they have done to others. This card will help you build your credit,, if you pay on time every time, no excuses period, but it will become your life long pal.

Its Time for a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT. I'm so frustrated, I'm sad, and I feel so got-damn powerless. Credit REBUILT, all debts PAID OFF. My Credit ONE Card: NEVER LATE. Card PAID OFF EVERY MONTH. I'm in the middle of trying to get a home loan, and CREDIT ONE now threatens that over what I'm calling a technicality. I didn't even want this card. I was so excited to have fixed my credit enough to qualify for a card, i got an add for this one and I was so caught up in the excitement I thought I was applying for a CAPITAL ONE CARD! Once I had the card and I went to their website, I didn't notice it right away. However, I attempted to login multiple times and it kept telling me there was a processing error, try again later. That's when I started looking around and realized I had applied and gotten approved for a knock off card. Because of this login issue and many months to come of login issues, payment issues, and just basic webpage navigating issues, I now started to worry that I had gotten a credit card with a scam company. Regardless, I maintained goof effort, never late, paid off the card some time with 30-40 days every time. Fast forward to today. I wake up to an email that says they closed my card because of too many failed payments. I admit, the account I was using (because the site errored out every time I tried to add new payment methods) is a bank account we've been trying to close. We have left i t open to see everything that pulls from there so we can take note and move it. I would move money into this account and often times something else would pull the funds before I realized it. This created a few returned payments. REGARDLESS, why did they not take into account that I've never been late and I've paid off my card damn near every single month? READ THIS!! So I call in to take care of this. Well guess what? After waiting for 10 mins or so, the call system hangs up on me. Third time, I wait about 10 mins again, get a hold of a very irritated and cold woman, after authenticating me, the call disconnects again! I have perfectly good cell service!! I call in again, wait, finally get someone. This woman attempts to authenticate me with the SMS token MFA method. GUESS WHAT!? Her code on her screen doesn't match the one she JUST SENT ME! Do you see what I'm saying? Everything about this companies tech is glitchy, constantly failing and erroring, but they have the nerve to close my account that's in good standing on a technicality?! So I asked if I could speak with her manager so I can ensure I get the most solid support on this. That was at roughly the 15 minute mark in this call. WELP The call is at 47 minutes now. I've been on for 32 minutes to speak with a supervisor manager. I'm posting this review every where I can, and I will make a comprehensive Youtube video on it as well. I am ready to bring people together to see who've they screwed and see if there's enough support for a class action lawsuit. This should be illegal what this company is doing. MANY PEOPLE have posted fair situations that this company has marked their reports negatively for. DO NOT GET THIS CARD! DO NOT! I have taken screenshots of the errors. I'm a fair man. If they want to contact me and deal with my account honestly and properly, I will take these reviews and video down.

This is probably the worst company I have ever had personal dealings with. I, unfortunately, applied for and received a credit card with them. I was never late on a payment even once. I was even paying more than the minimum amount requires. However, twice, I sent an EXTRA payment through to them that was from an account that I can lock and unlock. I lock it when I'm not using it for a while. I sent two payments to credit one on this account and waited 4-5 days, then locked my card again. Unfortunately, credit one didn't process these two payments until the 6-7 day. So, the payments didn't go through. So they charged me $40 per payment for "returned" payment. Then, credit one closed my account due to TOO MANY returned payments. And then they put this on my credit report. No matter that I had paid well over what they required, and was never late. It was extra payments that got returned! Definitly the first time I've had an account on my credit report for an involuntarily closed credit account stating "in good standing" and "zero late payments". Ridiculous.
