What Coverage Includes

Application Process

The application process takes only a few minutes to fully complete and review. Customers can begin by applying for a quote which asks for your name and address. If the system requires more information it will prompt you with various questions pertaining to your home such as bathrooms, square footage, etc. 

Once you’ve answered the on screen questions you will then be given the option to review your policies, it is here that all of the customization happens. You pick which coverage to include and how much. With options of just home or auto as single policies or bundling for more savings. 

They also offer the pick a plan option which allows customers to choose between three coverage options: economy, standard and premium. Branch breaks down what each policy costs. The cost variation depends on your deductible, with the economy having the lowest charge but the highest deductible. You’re then given the option to purchase right from your portal.

Discounts

Branch insurance operates by selling direct, this allows them to keep costs low for all of its customers. To compliment their lower policy prices, Branch also offers additional discounts for bundling two or more policies. This can include their home, auto, renters or umbrella coverage policies. 

In addition, customers that partake in Branch’s Pledge program can earn discounts of 1% up to 5% on their coverage for as long as they are both customers.

Be wear of an adjuster George Chong…
Branch its self is a good company had my auto with them for a few years and when I bought my house went with them and they beat all other companies.however if you have an auto accident watch out for a George Chong who i still think is a scammer he totaled my truck that my grandson was driving and basically called me a liar when i bought the truck the passenger side door and bed had damage but he said my grandson done it NO HE DID NOT i took it some where else 500. And truck is fix and the place said the guy had no business totaling it I don't because the passenger side was wrecked when I bought it and he is trying to say it wasn't and there you believe a liear

Locked in with no mercy
My insurance increase over 25% and I've never filed a claim for my home. I understand things are more expensive but this is absolutely ridiculous! Shortly after my homeowners insurance increased 25% I receive notification that my auto insurance has doubled, Unbelievable! Good bye Branch!

I initially reported my claim for hail damage around August 10th. I got a call on August 11th which I returned. I was told I'd hear from a field adjuster ASAP and since then nothing. No adjuster and no reply to my repeated attempts to reach the claims contacts. It's 3 weeks later. Worst service we have ever received. Not acceptable.

Branch claims to be a force for…overlooking lies made on insurance claims despite proof. They are okay with talking on the phone, hitting vehicles and lying to the insurance.
Branch claims to be a force for "communal good" harnessing the power of community, "getting each other's back." Not true. They care about not paying what is right. That is not communal good. No integrity. No standards. Even though a client lies on the insurance claim about being on the phone while striking another vehicle, they are okay with that lie, but will believe the other lie that the parked vehicle backed into them. Pictures, video, and confession (multiple times) of driver admitting she was on phone and would not lie about what happened, and Branch will only offer 50% coverage. A company that is okay with some lies, but will believe other lies as long as the insurance company does not have to pay. Unethical. Clear proof of their policy holder lying, but they will believe the other lie about running into a parked vehicle in a school event parking lot. They are okay with their drivers talking on the phone in school zones and lying. Poor communication. They say they will get in touch, and then they don't follow through. Be prepared to hound them and chase them, they won't contact you.

Disappointed
I filed a claim just under two months ago for hail damage. An adjuster came out fairly quick to assess everything, never got a single call from anyone after that. I have escalated the claim to supervisors on three occasions and never got a single call back. Today they assigned the claim to another adjuster, they called me and said that the initial adjuster didn't add any pictures or mention anything about the damage to my siding. Instead of telling me that they will get everything figured out and get back to me for once, they felt it necessary to let me know that roofing companies are not honest about damages, I let her know that I did go on my roof and saw the damage, and that every house in my neighborhood has had their roof replaced already from the same storm. I recommend that these employees only concerns themselves with their job, and providing the customer service that I pay for. I also would note that two-way communication goes a long way with customers, if you say that I will get a call within 48 hours, please call within that time. I'm very disappointed in the experience I have had with Branch.

Claim from water leak
We had a leak in our house and our claim with Branch was handled very well. Our adjuster Chris was very fast and efficient with his approvals. This was a huge deal for us since we had a baby coming soon. Branch and Chris did everything they said they were going to do, were pleasant to deal with, and made this challenging situation as good as it could have been.

Everything went wrong in January they deducted 755.00 for auto insurance. In June they deducted another 2743.00 and called this auto ins. We thought it was for our homeowners. We had a claim for some shingle repair so we called Branch who quickly informed us that the 3500.00 that they took in less than 3 months was for auto only. We are both retired have perfect driving records and excellent credit and we drive less than a 100 mile a month. After long hours on the phone with these people we gave up and canceled all our policies with them. But wait that's not all on July 31st we received a letter telling us who would be our adjuster on the claim placed on July 24th and looked forward to meeting with us. Please stay away from Branch they forgot to teach their adjusters to lie to any client with a claim.Well today we got a letter from Branch stating we were covered at the time of the incident but now it has lapsed since we canceled our policy and they are no longer responsible.

By far the worst insurance experience we’ve ever had.
By far, the worst insurance company we’ve ever worked with. We ended up switching insurance companies due to the exorbitantly high premiums, and have now been waiting over 3 months for our refund check. The customer service is very difficult to deal with. Want to speak to a supervisor? They flat out refuse to talk to you. We had multiple policies with branch and have now transferred all of them to another carrier. Do yourself a favor and show elsewhere.

Great Experience With My Claims Resolution Specialist
As a customer of the Branch insurance.. I admit I had some reservations before leaving State farm after 20 years.. But the Branch company insurance company now insures my home and all four of our vehicles plus our golf cart.. I have found it to be an excellent company at this point.. I have had to deal with several associates in the claim at the Branch company . All of which have been total professionals and showed real concern about my concerns and needs. I live in Western Kentucky which is known to some as a small part of tornado alley, Well bad weather cause us to need to process a claim.. My Property Claims Specialist team assigned to my claim Ms Edna Vindicia and Ms Tiffany Corrigan has been there doing the investigation of my damages and making me aware of the process and decisions that were made on my claim. While working with my team Edna mother became sick and she had to return to her side I pray for her help.. But a particular claims Resolution Specialist on my my team at Branch who kept the claim process on time and moving ahead who really stands out is Tiffany Corrigan , now in the last stages of our claim she's has been there to explain to me when needed talk to me and show us the way to make it seamless and to make me feel someone cares at Breach company , which makes me want to remain a valued customer. This company used to be outstanding
This company used to be outstanding, but as of lately they've made a lot of changes which causes a lot of problems. Customers get texts/emails IMMEDIATELY after a missed payment saying that they "No longer have insurance" which isn't true. But since the customers already received the threatening message, some of them switch and cancel the policy because the way the messages are worded. A policy wont be canceled the second a payment doesn't go through. Also they're rates in Texas now are beyond ridiculous, they're losing business hand over fist.

Dropped Like a Hot Potato!

Good customer service - large renewal increases
This is a tough one. Even though I did not receive the answer I would like regarding my auto premium increase (50% after 6 months and an additional 100% after 12, no tickets or claims), customer service was fast, professional, and clear. The original rates were great and my property insurance actually went down after 12 months. Unfortunately the large auto increases priced me out of the "community".

Warning!! Warning!!
Just a few words.....not enough money and not enough employees to take care of members. Branch fired over 200 employees over the weekend to be able to pay claims and keep the company afloat. Worst claims experience ever
Worst claims experience ever. It has been weeks since the disposition of my auto was decided, they received my car title, picked up my car from the body shop and I have yet to receive a check. I call the claims adjuster, voice mail is full so I can't leave a message. I call the customer service line and all they can do is escalate me to a task queue for a manager to return my call. I've done this twice and I never receive a call.

I was in an accident while covered thru…
I was in an accident while covered thru Branch which i wasnt liable for and Branch capitalized on this they wanted possesion my car (to sell for parts i found out later) the day after the accident instead of the other persons insurance handling everything. I soon found out that Branch doubled my insurance rate due to the accident that they knew was not my fault. So I had to continue to pay payments for a totaled car until Branch offered less than payoff (they gave out money first for the car and got reimbursed from the liable insurance probably made money there too) so I had to come out of pocket to get another vehicle before that happened as well. Branch is making money off of accidents that people have one way or another at your expense even if your not liable. Believe me I left

I've had Branch for 2 years. Their home owners insurance was great. I recommended them to all. I understand inflation, however my home owners ins. increased approx $1100 yr, no claims and my auto insurance increased approx. $57 a month no claims or accidents in over 15+ years. Like the company, but need to check for more discounts.

I have been a customer of Branch Insurance Company for a year. My car had an accident. The person in front of me was at fault for the accident, but Branch Company was a weak company and could not defend its customer. It has been a month since my car accident and the insurance company has not come to repair my car. I have a contract at the moment. It is a very inadequate company. I ask all my friends not to be deceived by this company. I will also cancel my contract with this company.

Amazing customer service!
Amazing customer service! My car flooded in a heavy rainstorm yesterday and I submitted a claim. An adjuster called me a few hours after I submitted my claim and set up to get my car towed in less than 24 hours.

Don’t trust branch when it comes down to renew your policy it’s gonna jump a couple hundred dollars that’s what they tried doing to me and they couldn’t even explain why they suck big time

Poor customer service
I had an open claim sent January and it is now May and my claim hasn’t been processed or resolved yet. No one at Branch cares about the customer especially Charles Jackson and his boss. They don’t believe on putting original parts back on your car.

Profit! Profit! Profit!
Extremely unhappy with Branch. I have been a customer with my homeowner's and auto insurance for 2 years. With no claims, my auto insurance premium jumped $2000/year. Drive carefully and decreased the amount we drive and still are punished with higher premiums.

Great Insurance company!
I Never know Branch Insurance until our mortgage company recommends them. We choose Branch Insurance for our house and car, because of their Detailed explain of the program, and the better rate for sure. I with my wife start to love Branch Insurance when our car has been hit by the other driver, which his insurance company cover everything since the other driver’s full responsibility for the accident. In the meanwhile, Branch staff follow with us for the claim of each step in great patience and attitude, and we feel taken care very more than expected. We also get free inspection on my house for estimated repair, but fortunately nothing serious for the roof. We will follow Branch as our primer insurance and appreciate for the help from Branch.

Auto accident
We are in our second year with Branch with out any claims until now. Prior to this claim every contact regarding any coverage, change, questions, etc have been exceptional, profesional and very kind. This is way above average. The claim was a total loss of vehicle and our claim was approved by the end of the second day, and we received full payment within a few days. According to acquaintances of ours, this is unheard of in the insurance industry with other companies. My wife and I definitely give Branch a triple A, and appreciate this company and their noticeable interest in solving this claim. We are excited to tell, and have been, telling our friends and acquaintances about Branch
