If you already use AAA for auto insurance, it makes sense to bundle and save with AAA home insurance. AAA home insurance could also be a smart choice if you’re hoping to manage your policy and claims online, but being tech-savvy isn’t a requirement as AAA also offers phone assistance.

If you recently renovated your home to be more weather resistant, AAA offers discounts that can help you save on home insurance. What Coverage Includes

Coverage through the AAA umbrella is actually provided by a variety of insurers. Likewise, AAA itself is not a single entity, but a federation of motor clubs offering automotive services like insurance and roadside assistance. As a result, coverage varies from county to county and from state to state. In general, however, you can expect to see the following coverage: 

  • Main dwelling: This covers damages to the physical structure of your home from natural causes, like fire or wind, or events caused by people, like theft or vandalism. 
  • Personal property: This includes appliances and furniture — the exact details of what’s covered  and where liability limits lie will depend on your policy.
  • Other structures: These include other permanently installed, detached structures on your property, like a separate garage, shed, or gazebo. Your policy may also cover, for example, fences or docks. 
  • Living expenses: Also called temporary housing protection. If, because of an event covered in your policy, you are no longer able to inhabit your home, you may be reimbursed for temporary housing and storage. 

Additional Coverage

Depending on your region and policy, you may also be eligible for an array of additional coverage options. While the above coverage is typically included in all policies, those listed below may or may not be offered, and if they are, they are usually optional. 

  • Jewelry and valuables: These can vary widely between regions, but your coverage may include small items of value, like jewelry and watches.
  • Personal liability: Personal liability protection comes into play when you’re found responsible for damages or losses to another person’s body or property. 
  • Medical payments for others: If your policy includes this clause, you can be reimbursed for medical expenses and payments if somebody gets injured on your property.

Application Process

There are three ways to apply for AAA insurance: online, by telephone, and in-person. The quickest and simplest method for most people will be applying online. You’ll need to visit your region’s AAA site (they vary by state) and fill out an online form. Some regions may not be eligible for an online quote, but this is rare. 

To expedite the quote process, AAA may collect information from third party providers, like consumer reporting agencies, driving records, claims and credit history. The online questionnaire is quick and straightforward, and only took us a few minutes to get through. We got our quote directly online , without having to have an additional email or phone call with an insurance agent. 

Discounts

One advantage to signing up with AAA Home Insurance is that there are discounts available. First, you can save over 20% on your home insurance by combining additional insurance policies, like auto insurance. There’s also discounts for policyholders who have been with the AAA (or an affiliate) for longer than one year, and for persons aged 55 or older and who are retired. 

Based on the state of your home, you may be eligible for a numbers of discounts: if you haven’t filed any claims in the past three years, if your home is outfitted with a protective device (e.g., fire or burglar alarm), if your home was built recently, if your roof is resistant to hail, or if it’s been recently renovated. 

How Safe is it?

AAA is a large, well-known, national brand, founded more than 115 years ago. It has more than 60 million members in the USA and Canada, and is well known for its road-side assistance, auto insurance, and AAA travel ratings.  The Home Insurance branch of AAA has an A+ rating from AM Best.

Claims & Customer Support

Customer service is available 24/7; you can use the same AAA hotline for your club area as you would for assistance. You can use customer service to file a claim, or simply log onto your account on your state’s AAA website and file your claim online. Make sure you hold onto the claim tracking number, so you can check its status and easily communicate with customer service as you move forward. 

Summary

AAA is an obvious choice for members of the auto club, but if you’re not a AAA member, that shouldn’t necessarily stop you either. There are plenty of discounts here, according to your home and personal situation. AAA is well-known and has a high AM Best rating. The application process is straightforward, and you can manage your policy entirely online if you so desire.

    DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE LIARS! I have the premium tow package with a 200 mile tow. I have paid for this for several years now. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY. I was told that as a passenger, I could use the tow in any vehicle I was in. NOT TRUE. I went camping in a converted 18 foot school bus that broke down (same length as a full size van). I was told over the phone that the tow on this was left up to the tow company as to size and coverage thru AAA. AAA told the tow company they WOULD NOT cover it. They LIED to me. They told the tow company I needed an rv tow package. I DON'T OWN AN RV, WHY WOULD I BUY THAT TOW PACKAGE? I will not use or pay for their services again. Don't waste your money! Go thru your own insurance company......

    My iPhone XS was fixed in half hour -water damage . I was so happy with the service after spilling a drink on my phone . Definitely the best in West Bromwich. The other shop wanted me to leave my phone for 24 hours and quoted a lot more. Excellent repair :)

    A bought a battery from them

    A bought a battery from them, it had a three year warranty. A few months before the warranty ended, the battery started to give me problems, then just died. AAA sent a "tech" to my house, tested the battery and said it was ok, I just needed to drive the car more (its driven every day). To summerize, three drivers, three jumpstarts and still the battery wont hold a charge. Car is fine, battery needs to be replaced. AAA made every excuse in the book reassuring me the battery was ok, even after the third failure. They pushed things along and delayed enough so the battery warranty expired. I tried to get a pro-rated replacement and again, they refused saying the battery was fine. AAA was a great company to deal with, once upon a time. I just cancelled my three car three driver membership and I will never deal with them again.

    My son called to have his car picked up…

    My son called to have his car picked up from car shop and brought home by the time they answered the call from waiting about 180 minutes per Shawn employee number #503002 the place had closed with no way now to get car from shop that is now charging over night fee of $180 plus. And only excuse given we get busy later in the day but no apology. Instead of trying to come up with a solution to assist the customer or excuse me the member because you are not a customer. I work in Medical and what if i told patients I can't help you. Situation got worse. When asked who Shawn's supervisor was I was told "I am not allowed to give that out since they are not on the call". So in other words he didn't want this reported to his supervisor. So AAA if you read this -unacceptable how you treat your "members" I hope you continue to loose business and money and when you realize that you need "members" you will properly train qualified people to be a manager and really want to do good for your members. Maybe I should apply total re-training is needed in this company in Las Vegas.

    AAA cancels membership after 70 years!

    My 89 year old father in law has been a continual member of AAA since 1951 – yes, 70 years! They have just sent a letter informing him that his membership is not going to be renewed in November. I phoned the call center and was told that there were a number of factors contributing to this decision, designed to protect the company and ‘all’ its members. I was not given specifics, but informed that the decision is final and non-negotiable. Way to go AAA – shame on you!

    Right hand does not know what the left hand is doing!

    Our experience happened last evening in the South Kingstown, RI area. My husband and I, who are senior citizens, were on our way home from dinner around 7:30 pm, and got a flat tire on a country road that is not well traveled. We are Gold Card members and called immediately for roadside assistance. We did not receive a call back until 7:45. After we gave our location to the dispatcher, and indicated we were on an isolated road, she proceeded to tell us it would an hour before someone could get to us. I gave her my cell phone number for text updates. We waited at least an hour with no updates, proceeded to initiate another call back, and this dispatcher told us we were not scheduled till 9:17. I told her the last dispatcher said an hour window, and we would have text updates. I then gave my phone number again, for text updates. To make a 3 hour long story short, we did not get roadside assistance till 10:30pm. Apparently they had mixed up our call with another call, and had the wrong number and location. Prior to the driver arriving, I called my son who lives in the area to bring me home while my husband waited with the car. When the driver arrived he told my husband he didn’t get the call until 10:10, and initially was given the wrong location. The driver was great and towed the car to the house, and brought my husband with him. No complaints at all with the driver. The kicker is this, this morning I wake up to a recording from AAA telling me that someone will be out there this morning between 6:30 and 9 am! We have never had an experience like this before with AAA, and hope to never have it again.

    AAA had no nighttime driver To provide roadside service

    I'm a senior citizen now, but when I was younger I had AAA for many years. Their service was always top notch. A few years ago I switched auto insurance to a company that does not offer roadside service. So I went back to having AAA. And that's the only reason I had AAA, was for the safety offered by their roadside service. Tonight I found myself stranded at midnight when my vehicle suddenly refused to restart. AAA took my request for assistance needed in Manassas Virginia. They couldn't tell me how long I would have to wait for assistance, but the agent said drivers generally reach their clients within 40 minutes. About 90 minutes later I received a call from AAA customer service. They wanted to make sure I was safe and asked several questions about whether or not I could get someone else, a friend or family member perhaps, to help me get home. It was suggested that I could leave my car where it was in a safe place and get a ride home. The caller said they could get my car towed a little later - To spare me the wait for AAA assistance. I told her I did not mind waiting and I did not want to leave my car. She said OK and then she would touch base with me again in a little while. About a half an hour later a police officer came. He said that AAA called because they were unable reach me by phone, and asked the police to let me know that they were unable to send me roadside service tonight. Well I don't know why AAA couldn't call me, but I called them back to get clarification on the situation. It was like pulling teeth, but finally the customer service agent told me that they have only one driver covering each area in the evening and nighttime hours, and that the driver they had was based in Winchester. That's 90 miles away from Manassas. And that driver was unable to work tonight. She asked me if I couldn't get home on my own and I told her I am elderly and don't know a lot of people. Most of my friends are also older and were sound asleep! I'm not going to cancel my AAA membership quite yet, but I am certainly disappointed. How can AAA provide roadside service With only one truck covering 180 mile area? I understand they may have more trucks during daytime hours. But during the daytime I could've found a friend to help me. It's during the nighttime hours when it's scary and difficult to find help! I hope AAA will hire more drivers so they can actually provide the services they advertise. Tonight I ended up calling a local towing company to get me and my car back home. I would give zero stars for tonight's experience with AAA, And recommend that prospective members ask some hard questions regarding their capability to provide roadside service prior to signing up for membership. After tonight's experience with AAA I no longer feel safe driving at night.

When I actually needed the service I needed a new battery they came out and told me I needed a battery but that they don’t have one and I should go to autozone - then left - what’s the point in having this service I just went and spent more money to replace.the battery myself 0 stars

    17 SEP 21 WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NO TOW

    17 SEP 21 - Started having alternator issues as I was driving home from Uvalde, TX just around sunset. Was able to get to Hondo before I lost my lights, pulled into a well lit Exxon station and parked the car on the side of the building. Immediately called AAA and after a series of questions was connected to an agent. The first words out of their mouth are "are you in a safe place?". Once it was established that I was, they proceeded to gather the information needed to send me help. I simply needed a tow to my home 44 miles away. I was told a truck would be dispatched with the arrival at 8:52, an hour later, and that I would receive text messages regarding it's status enroute. When 8:52 arrived with no sign of a tow truck and no text messages received, I called AAA again. After going through the series of questions I was connected to an agent who proceeded to put me on hold for some 20 minutes only to return to the phone to inform me that the tow truck was not able to take my call. She then booked another tow truck and gave me an arrival time an hour later, promising me text updates. After waiting another hour with no texts or tow truck arriving I called AAA again. This time I was able to speak to a supervisor who told me very bluntly that she wouldn't help me because she was getting off work in 10 minutes. I was then, supposedly transferred to 'dispatch' but after waiting on hold a half hour with extremely annoying music playing I finally hung up and called once more. The agent I spoke with this time, after the usual lengthy questions from the automated answering bot, told me she would definitely get someone out there. I was then put on hold for another 20 minutes before she came back with a supervisor and I was told that every tow truck service they called refused to take the job. I was told I could book a tow in the morning, which I did for 8:00am (I had resigned myself to getting a hotel). After going through the process of booking the 8:00am tow, the supervisor told me that they don't really book before 11:00am so I should call back at 7:00am to be sure the tow was assigned. I asked him if they could give me a call at 7:00am and was told that that wasn't something AAA did, I'd have to call them. By this time it was nearly midnight so I gave up on AAA and got the hotel room. This morning I called AAA at 7:00 and of course they didn't know anything about me booking a tow at 8:00. After two more calls, I finally got confirmation that a tow truck was enroute to me, the call coming from the tow truck driver. (By the way, excellent service from this independent contractor) Then, twenty minutes later a different tow truck driver called me saying he was on the way. I had to straighten out this AAA double booking for them. I've been a AAA member (Premiere RV) for just over 4 years. I will be re-thinking my membership before its next renewal date.

    I pay annually and the one time I need them, I wait 6 hours for a tow truck. Had another issue and needed car jump started, been waiting 3 hours and they refuse to help me on the phone. Do not pay for AAA if your life depended on it. slow people on the phone too that just never help

    Waited 5 hours for a tow in 20 degree temps. Then today I waited 5 hours for a tow in the heat because AAA could not "find me", I was on a State Rt but they got hung up on what cross road was close to where I was at, they could not find the cross road so they could not send me help, even though I was not on the cross road. Hours and hours later I was informed that they had my pick up for Cincinnati Oh,when I was right outside of Piqua Ohio. It was not the tow drivers fault this was just stupid people working for AAA dispatch. Some nice guy who was family of the tow service finally got me help.

    Been a AAA member for almost 20 years the first time I’ve ever attempted to use the service prior to this one a tow truck never showed up call broke down in New Jersey and AAA turned everything into a nightmare first I waited 5 1/2 hours for the first toe truck the guy showed up was very nasty and arrogant told me how AAA does not pay him enough to tow a car 80 miles and he was not doing it insisted on taking the car to his shop when I told him no and I told him do not get in my car all greasy and dirty without a mask he spit at me and tried to assault me call AAA back to wait another 9 1/2 hours for them to send another company down the worst service ever and first they tried to tell me they would not send another tow truck they had nobody else in the area not worth the money They don’t care about customer service

    I just want to leave a great review for my AAA driver Domingo. He was so kind and listened to my problems that I was having with my vehicle, when I got towed back to my home he actually took a moment and raised the hood and took a look at my engine and then realized that the fan plug was disconnected and it was hitting my fan that's the best service ever thanks again for your kindness 😁

    Called AAA for car repair/service. They came within 10 minutes. Car was serviced and I decided to get a new battery. David was very informative and gave me good advice on how to maintain the new battery. Have been with AAA since 2012 and they have helped me many times. Highly recommend.

    If there was an option to give zero stars that is what I would give. I have a membership with AAA for several years and I only needed them once and that was yesterday -and they let me down. At 7:06am my car would not go in gear. I was stranded at my workplace. I requested for service to have it towed. AAA said tow truck would be there at 10:26 - no tow truck. Called at 11:15 to see where it was - then told it would be there 1:16 pm. Then told 4:36 pm - then told 3:30 pm. I canceled service at 1:30!when it did not come at 1:16. Got a local company to tow my car. Will not renew - will tell others that it is not worth it. Waste of money - very disappointed.

    Car broke down tonight - no steering. Called AAA. Estimated time for a tow...6 1/2 hours! This "service" is a total joke. Called a local towing company and was on a flatbed in 30 minutes. This is in central NJ not in the middle of nowhere. Not wasting my money on AAA anymore.

    Useless and unreliable AAA roadside assistance

    One of those bad days with a flat, but that's why you pay that membership fee to AAA year after year. Right?#9yearsstrong Stuck in City of Commerce with nothing but trucks driving by. Cold and tired. It's about 2AM. requested tow and ETA was 40 minutes. Then after 40mins, I got TBD. No tow. No update. I called AAA and rep put me on hold to get an update. Hold time was just amazing. I just left the car with a note and Ubered home. But held on the line to see what AAA would say. I just hung up when I got home. AAA never got back to me. After 1 hour and 17 minutes, I gave up. Filed a complaint and asked for a call back. No one responded. They said sorry and they will have a team reach out in 48 hours to offer membership discounts. No call back. I called back again to follow up and the rep told me they never offer any discounts and there's no team for membership retention. Also no notes on my account for any of this. Bye bye #AAA No more wasting membership fees when I can't count on your service. Hope not everyone goes through what I went through to realize this waste of time and money. (Side note. Most car insurance offers roadside assistance. It's cheaper since they don't have multiple offices and massive overhead like AAA).

    TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

    2 days, 4 phone calls, no service. Truck broke down, made multiple calls to have a ‘guaranteed’ driver. Waited multiple hours, to eventually call in myself to find that they canceled the request because it was ‘too expensive’ to tow my vehicle. They said the only driver was on vacation, when in reality the show in town was available for a $1000 cost. I was told AAA’s ‘reimbursement consideration’ wouldn’t cover that bill. I’ve wasted multiple years paying for AAA to have called one time, and gotten horrible service.

    Waited over 4 hours for my vehicle to be towed. No messages or updates as I requested. Finally called to be put on hold for over 30 minutes then cut off. Very poor service I have had to use them twice now in the 14 years I have had a Premium Service. Will not be renewing or recommending them. Very poorly run company which cannot handle the business that their customers have paid for. 0*

    Waited 2 1/2 hours for a tow truck

    Waited 2 1/2 hours for a tow truck. Had been told it would be 3, but we weren’t getting any text updates and had been trying to call for an update. Repeatedly hung up on by the automated answering prompts. Then by a human. When we FINALLY got thru to another human we were informed that the tow company had declined the call, but no other dispatch request had been sent out for 2 1/2 hours! Meanwhile we are waiting on an interstate on-ramp. It’s dark, getting late so I cancelled and have to leave the car again. They said the tow service didn’t have the staff. I understand that, but it was AAA’s job to keep us informed. They had our number and I had authorized text messages. So very frustrating. I would have cancelled 2 hours before instead of wasting my time waiting for a truck that was never coming! Great job AAA!

    My son has called AAA twice in the last month for issues and the first time they said it was going to be at least two hours minimum before arrival. Tonight they were on the busy highway with a flat and they called and it said to leave a voice mail! After years of being a member, that's it. Terrible service.

    Incompetent customer service

    Waited over 2 hours for them and they sent the tow truck to the wrong address. I do not understand how because they were given address including zip code and confirmed nearby streets. Very incompetent people now the tire shop is closed and I have to wait until Monday. They completely waisted my time.

    My first attempt to use my AAA membership. I needed a tow. I was unable to speak to a person. So after the tow truck was an hour later than I was told he would arrive, I started looking for another option. I ended up calling a local tow service and a friend took me home. Otherwise, I would’ve been stuck alone in a dark parking lot for hours and hours. I was unable to speak to someone to find out if I would be able to ride with the driver. I finally left 3 hours after I called AAA.

    Terrible experience with AAA

    Terrible experience with AAA. Waited in 105+ degree heat in a remote area outside of Wickenberg, Az. After two hours of demonstrated gross ineptitude by AAA customer service, we received a tow all the way back to Buckeye, Az. We were told several times that dispatch would be calling us back shortly, but of course, they never did. AAA customer "disservice" had provided erroneous information to the tow company. Despite being provided with the cell phone number and an alternate number several times, they somehow transposed the phone number with the membership number. We contacted the tow company directly, AAA only compounded the problem. When the tow truck driver from City Towing (Wikiup, Az) did arrive, the driver was very cordial and helpful. Her name was Shawnee. She definitely made the difficult situation more tolerable. Kudos to Shawnee and City Towing. A job well done!

Well well well AAA I have a story about you been with AAA 23 YEARS car dies Friday 9/3/21 on hold for over hour still no contact with any person I was in such a bad spot on the side of the road the police came and helped me while I was still on the phone with AAA WAITING to speak to someone NOTHING Thanks AAA way to go to keep customers safe NOT I called Tuesday morning SHOCKED got someone after of course waiting I told her what happened sure let me send you right over well CLOSED !!!!!!! HMMMM I decided to contact them an see why so long of wait time called during my lunch well I was on hold my ENTIRE LUNCH thanks again AAA I called again Tuesday on my way home well I was on hold for HOUR before someone finally picked up. i explained to her lady on phone I asked for MAnager she said sure AGAIN HOLDING FOR 5 - 7 MINUTES AGAIN this is not right I was actually told due to the Hurricane that is why they are backed up .     Save Your Money!! Horrible Services!!

    This is clearly a trend for AAA. Just had my 18 year old sitting in the hot sun for 6 hours. The person they dispatched was about 2 hours away. Every time 8 minutes arrival time hit it extended to 43 minutes. After 2nd call they called the company (first person told me they couldn’t call them) and the truck they dispatched had to unload a pickup 1 hour past my daughter. Truck arrives 6 hours later from time requested and cannot speak to her because of language barrier. Found someone to translate for him to say she needs to request a wrecker cause his flat bed can’t take her car. Call AAA, no concern whatsoever and they told me I can recall and request a wrecker for them to dispatch out to her! I have never in my life! This is horrible… The non compassion the company shows for paying customers is ludicrous, don’t fall fit the student driver addition because your child will not be in safe hands but your money will be gladly accepted. I don’t foresee a renewal AT ALL in the future and will be telling other family members (long long time members) to forget it! I will also make sure I repost this on EVERY review site for AAA because I am very hurt my daughter had to go through this!

    I've been a AAA Premier RV member since 2011. Several months ago I was in Florida stranded on a dangerous shoulder with a flat tire. Around 3:30 (pm) I called AAA and spent 20 minutes on hold just to be told that they would try to find a tow company. No response or text after 2 hours so I called back and was advised that they had no one to change my tire or tow my RV to the nearest tire shop, and that I could continue to wait or find a repair facility myself then file for reimbursement. I finally walked to a repair facility approximately 2 miles down the road and they came out to tow me back to their facility and then repaired the flat on my RV. Here it is months later and I just got a call from a AAA customer relations person who advised me that the Premier RV membership, that I've been paying for for nearly 10 years now, does not cover FLAT TIRES on an RV. Whaaat? Ok, so what about the TOW. I guess that's not covered either since no one came for me from AAA. After looking at other reviews this seems to be the new trend.

    Should be given a zero. Received a text saying that the tow truck was on its way. 3 hours later, I am still sitting here. Was also told that I would receive call/text updates. Not a word. This is the first time we ever needed assistance in years. We would have been better off paying for the tow instead of all the membership fees we have paid over the years. Very disappointed.

    If I could give AAA 0 stars, I would! My car broke down in the middle of the road in NYC, I called AAA to get a tow. I've had their service for about 10 years and this is the first time I've had to use them. I called around 2 pm, and was told that a tow would be there in an hour. Fast forward, it is not 10pm, and ive been sitting in my car for 8 hours in the middle of a busy NYC road. Without letting me know, they cancelled my tow, and everytime I would call the customer support, they would tell me the tow is 30 mins away. Now they are asking me to sit in my car till the next day to get a tow. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE

    I left my lights on in a commuter parking lot. !2 hours later I called AAA to come give me jump. The battery was only a year and a half old, The AAA battery expert told me for safety reasons he could only jump it after testing with his computer or it could explode . I did not tell him was was a auto mechanic twenty years earlier and that the only way a battery could explode if a cell is frozen . This was summer time and after his computer was finished it told him I needed a new battery and he happened to have one in his truck. I told him to just jump it and he said I do not recommend doing that and when I get stuck again he would not respond . I charged up the battery by driving it and still have it with no problems. What happened to the old AAA that you felt your membership meant something , Know they are just trying to rip you off. Suppose to be a non-profit ?

    So we own a repair shop and every time a AAA tow comes in we have problems. The AAA drivers know that there is nothing anyone can do about the way they tow because AAA will not speak to people like me. I have tried several times to talk with AAA because we have problems with one particular towing company that gets all of AAA tows in this area. to no avail. Take it from a 20 year shop owner. AAA is not who you want towing your vehicle.

    I bought a battery from them in 2019. The battery is bad now and there is 1 year left on warranty. They won't honor the warranty on their battery. Don't waste your money on them. They are not honest! My mechanic tested their battery after it sat from 8/22/2021-8/24/2021 and it tested at 12%. Two AAA mechanics tested it AFTER they put it on a charger and said it was alright. Of course it will show a good charge when it's on a charger for 5 minutes before they test it. The AAA mechanic who came 8/24/2021 asked me if I knew AAA sold chargers. I asked him if I was supposed to carry a charger with me to the grocery store in case it didn't start because of their defective battery. Bad business!

I called to get my car picked up because it broke down, I spent at least 1 hour trying to speak to someone and when i did it took 3 hours for a pickup truck to be on it’s way after speaking to him 2 time. I waited 2 hours without no communication for the guy and when i go call him he answer and when i start talking he hangs up I call the phone line and they tell me that the truck guy never found my car and that they canceled the process and when on with their day. WITHOUT TELLING ME ANYTHING. Terrible service to be honest they could not to anything to help.

    You guys are not paying the drivers quick enough, thats why almost no tow truck company or driver wants to take on your calls. They told me they had to wait 2 weeks to get paid, hence stating the reason most of them hated working with AAA. We had to wait 3-4 hours just to get our vehicle towed. Luckily we were in a parking lot, and in a safe zone, just imagine if we would’ve been on a busy road or highway, thats just unacceptable, the service should be provided within the hour, to hour and a half tops. This is the third time of me having to wait this long for your services, not only that, the miscommunication is unreal, and no one bothers to even call to make us aware of what the situation is. We had to call in where there are super long phone wait times of more than 35 mins just to get someone on the line. For us to find that 2 other tow companies have dropped the service call, Im guessing for the same reason mentioned above: “Delay of payment” I suggest you get your act together and start paying these drivers promptly so that they take interest in making this trips. Because right now I am very disappointed and strongly thinking of not renewing the service. On top of that , the App kept saying there was a problem with my subscription and I was not able to check on the status or nothing, it was just useless.

    I needed a tow, and triple AAA stated ETA would be 15 minutes. Two hours later, sitting in the hot sun, nobody was coming. I called back, they stated no towing service picked up the call, that they had to dispatch another towing service, in the meantime, I’m in the heat, running out of water and starting to get sick. I’m a senior citizen and nobody ever came. I had to make other arrangements. Triple AAA never apologized or anything. Extremely disappointed.

    AAA lied to me.

    My battery failed in a one year old car because I went on vacation for a few weeks and left the battery attached and not used. I called AAA and they said the battery failed and I needed a new one and they sold me a new AAA battery. After a week or so I decided to replace the AAA battery with a new car manufacturer battery, but I kept the AAA battery in my garage. A year later I did the same thing and called AAA again. Again they said the battery died and I needed a new one. I asked them about the AAA battery I had and they would not even touch it and claimed that the AAA battery was bad and would not work. This time they said they would not sell me a new battery but that I should get one from the car dealer as this one was still under warranty. They started my car, i drove to the car dealer and the dealer found there was nothing wrong with the battery it just needed a charge. Problems: 1. Both car batteries went bad for the same reason and both were under warranty, so why did the first AAA guy sell me a new battery and why did they both say the car battery was ruined, when the second battery simply needed a charge. It is highly likely the first battery also simply needed to be charged as it was the same type of battery, the same age, and lost power for the same reason. 2. After I got back from the car dealer with the newly charged battery I decided to check the AAA battery I had bought the first time. It was out of charge, but I borrowed a battery charger and it recharged very easily and it worked. It was not ruined at all. So AAA lied to me multiple times and caused me great trouble. AAA could have solved the problem, but they did not. The only conclusion that makes sense to me was that since charging the battery takes time they did not want to spend their time, so they lied to me to save themselves the cost of charging the battery, and they did it to me twice. Do not call AAA for a battery problem if the battery needs charging. Considering that they lied to me twice I am considering ending my membership. What else would they or did they lie to me about?

    Yesterday a large raccoon ran out and was hit by my car. The car has damage and was disabled. I called right away, 5:45 am and of course the message said "due to high volumes, blah blah blah". Finally I spoke to a person, and attempted to give her my information. I was told that a truck would be there in 1.5 hours. I waited 2 hours before calling back and a different person told me that "my call was still out for bid" and that she was sure someone would come at 10 AM. Frustrated, I called tow shop on my own and they were their in 10 minutes. I had to pay out of pocket $150.00, but if I didn't do that, I would still be sitting there waiting for AAA to fulfill their membership obligations. This isn't the first time this has happened, gave them a second chance. Needless to say, I will not be renewing my my 19 year membership.

    I wasted $100 a year for no/little service

    I waited 91/2 hours for towing service. I called this AM at 7:00AM and was answered promptly by a PERSON! I was told there was no provider in my area and it would take no more than 21/2 hrs. for a tow. Many hours and calls to a recorded message, nothing. I was able to get a real person by using a different # than the # I gave them. They were still"trying". A tow truck finally came at 4:35! So glad I wasn't on the side of a highway waiting in the heat for 91/2 hours. After 40 years, will be cancelling.

    Terrible, terrible service. Left my son in law and his dog stranded for 20 hours while waiting for a tow yesterday in Ocean County, NJ. We will not be renewing our 20+ year long membership, nor will they. I am grateful that my daughter and their baby was not the one driving alone. Shame on AAA.

    Worst ,inefficient Service ever !!!

    AAA has been trying to get a Service provider (Tow Truck) since last Friday ,I spoke to a supervisor after over 3 hours of waiting on Friday and nobody calling me back with status update ,she told me that they were still working on getting a Service provider to tow my Car ,Porsche Cayenne that has an electrical problem and wont start or lock doors ,that has been sitting in an isolated , Warehouse Park. It already got vandalized stealing 2 head rests from back seats. I just just got off the phone today Monday 8 /16 /21 at 12:30 PM in Miami ,FL with supervisor Brandon and told me that AAA still can't find a Service provider to tow my truck to a shop and that he could not tell me if they will dispatch a tow truck in an hour or 5 days and was told that "they" someone will contact me. I wonder if anybody is actually working on getting a towing truck sent to pick up my car. It seems like they don't care and point fingers to "them" that will call me. Really terrible service for a Company that one would think would do a good job servicing customers.

    Another company begging to go out of business.This is not the AAA from my childhood.They don't really have any interest in speaking with you.They have a canned recording telling you immediately they have a unusual high volume of calls and they automatically send you a link which in no way replaces a live dispatcher and is prone to mishaps concerning pertinent information.The wait for service is automatically 1.5 hours.Thats if your lucky.If you call, you automatically go into the hold loop listening to endless bad music and nauseating repetitive announcements! The dealing with AAA is far wosre then the automotive problem, believe me The operators and supervisors are in a no win position with such Corporate malpractice! They are so interested in pinching pennies with all this staff cutting and automation, that inturn they are automatically irritating customers like me, that will certainly never renew.

    Horrible Service-Lost another customer. 2.7 stars. AAA????

    Please describe your problem here: I made a request for a tow service because my key fob was broken and it would not work. That's what I put in the initial request. They tow truck driver showed up did not attempt to tow my car. He took my key and put glue and tape around it (pics attached). He then told me he spoke to someone and they were coming and would call me "now". He then left. I received no call. I have been waiting in the heat for 4 hours now with no help. No updates. I called AAA as my request was closed out on the App. I was on hold for 20 mins and then was told no tow truck companies were answering and she'd call me back. I have not received a call back from anyone. I am now going to have to use my own funds to get it out of the Chick Fil A parking lot. By purchasing AAA membership, I thought all this would be covered and resolved with AAA. I have pictures, screenshots and time stamps on every call and every picture. I have always had a good experience with AAA, but this is by far unacceptable. They will literally leave you hanging with no response. It's now 5.5 hours and I just got home because I had to come out of my pocket to do their job. Mad morals and bad business. I can't believe they've gone this far from what they used to be. They should be reimbursing everyone because they aren't doing what they say you're paying for. If I were an older person and being in 90° heat like I was they'd definitely have a lawsuit. As I took pics, screenshots and everything is time stamped. They better get it together or they're going to have multiple lawsuits for negligence and for lying and saying someone is on their way. If they wouldn't of said that then you could walk away and call someone else.

    THE WORST ... no service . IM a plus member on hold for EVER , no call backs, never picked up my car and over 24 hours latter and AAA still cant find a tow truck? Im in MIAMI florida , I had to hire my own tow truck and pay out of POCKET... AAA is a waste of time and your Money. Lets laugh called a 715 in the evening waited till 10pm / no show, called again waited till 12 mid night no show , called again waited to 3 am .. AAA back on the phone , and say "What can I help you with" . Day 2 call again.. car still sitting in the same spot , same BS . Excuses from AAA , we have a high call volume, then im told to call there vendors because she cant get through and states she has other people to help so she hanging up now???? THATS AAA PLUS for ya .

    I have had AAA since 1983. I am a premier plus member. I have been left for the last 24 hours with nothing. Car broken down on side of the road. Called for tow, waiting 2.5 hours, got a guy who only does battery jumps, he said he would upgrade to a tow. waited 4 hours no truck ever came. No way to reach a human being, only the app on the phone. The mechanic shop closed. Had to Uber home and leave car on side of road. This AM at 6 went back to aaa calls again, nothing, only app, waiting for 2 hours so far, the app just keeps adding an hour each time to the eta. I am going to have to pay 75.00 for a tow on my own and cancel aaa. what a shame. It was such a good reputable company. Why did they do this????

    I'm sad that I had to give 1 star. Negative 10 would have been my choice. After calling these clowns at 10:30 am for a tow to my mechanic, which of course took me to an automated site, I finally called back again at 1:30 pm, then they called me said the driver has been dispatched but they had to jump to another call. Their fancy tracker app showed arrival time at 1:52 pm, which came and went, then it updated to 5pm. The mechanic closes at 5pm. So I called customer service to say that doesn't work, and the woman complained to me that people call her all day and complain. REALLY! You're in customer service. Looking forward to the day this clown show goes under. What a bloated joke of a company.

    If I could give zero stars I would. I have had AAA premier for 30 years. The last two times I used them they were absolutely horrible. I haven’t had to use them in a long time, but in the last month I have had to use them twice. The first time I had to sit in 100° heat for 2 1/2 hours for a tow truck to arrive to give me a battery jump. It took one hour to speak to a human operator. The second time I used them was this morning. I ran out of gas. First time since 1979. OK shirt happens. It took three hours for the tow truck to arrive. It took two hours to get a hold of AAA operators. They said they sent a computer message to the tow service. The tow service said they never got the message. I think they both screwed up. I also have AAA auto insurance. I am canceling both as soon as possible. If you’re thinking about getting AAA. DON’T BOTHER.

    Michael H was AMAZING

    I wanted to do this review because of the patience that Michael H had with me [call #12945]- I was very annoyed because no broke college student does not want to be having car issues right before leaving for school-- I have been having some annoying issues with my battery. As a young woman and being stranded in the middle of the night is no Bueno. I contacted triple AAA and Michael H came and I had not had to wait no more than 45 minutes for him to arrive. He had such a positive attitude and was able to break down to me why my battery keeps going out. I know NOTHING about cars and he had enough patience to describe my situation and change my battery. He made me feel comfortable and talked me through the whole process. THANKS AGAIN MICHAEL H!

    People who work the DMV are the laziest people. Waited 4 hours just for a permit renewal. They opened 20min late had about 20 people waiting outside to get in. Was told they would call within the hour it was 3 hours later and waited another hour in DMV. 3:people just sitting and not calling anyone. Not like we don't have other places to be or do other stuff. This place has been like this for the last 20 years what's up with that

    After locking my keys in my car in Charlotte, NC, I immediately called AAA Roadside Assistance. A very kind woman, I think her name was Melinda assured me that help was on the way. Within 1/2 hour, Chris arrived and unlocked my car in minutes and thankfully, no scratches to my vehicle! I truly appreciate the quick and competent service I was shown. Keep up the excellent work!

    I have been a AAA member for many years…

    I have been a AAA member for many years now, and I am writing this letter to indicate my displeasure with the AAA service that was not rendered to us in the time of great need and peril. Not only was it not rendered to myself, my mother (who has been a AAA member longer), but also to my children that are both under 10 years of age. On March 21, 2021, we embarked in a rental car on the way to Arizona, only to find ourselves with a broken-down vehicle in complete electrical failure. We were able to pull over on the side of I40 west, but we were not in an area where we could safely sit inside the vehicle. The vehicle was completely dead and unmovable. Both my mother and myself carry AAA plus, which indicates that they will pick you up anywhere and tow up to 100 miles. Without hesitation, I called AAA, the lady on the phone indicated that they had secured a tow truck and would have someone out to us in less than 45 minutes. I also received multiple text messages indicating that the tow truck was on its way. While I was notifying enterprise on my mother’s cellphone, I received a call from the same AAA agent, on my phone, that our tow truck was cancelled. Not only was it cancelled, but it was indicated that “AAA does not pick-up individuals on the side of any major U.S. highway or interstate.” Not only did they indicate that they would not come to help us, based solely on a service that we pay a regular maintenance fee to secure, but the operator was not willing to help us locate another option to get us off the side of the road. The representative at Enterprise attempted to contract another AAA approved tow truck for us. The tow truck was promised, and cancelled due to the currently policy that AAA does not pick up any passengers stranded on the side of the road. It was then indicated to us that because there was four of us that the driver of the tow truck would be picking up the vehicle only. This indication was then followed by the same AAA tow truck approved company cancelling the pick-up due to the policy that AAA does not pick up on the side of major US highways. After multiple phone calls, phone calls to the Arizona highway patrol, 911, dealings with Enterprise, and my father driving 4 hours to get us from the side of the road. We were finally able to get a tow truck out to us, only seven hours after the entire incident started. Mind you it was not a AAA tow truck. Not only were we stranded for over seven hours, but we suffered wind burns, dehydration, exposure, intense trauma/fear, and significant sunburns. What I learned is that AAA is not a company that has their clients in mind, they deal only in bottom line, and a human being holds no worth or value. What finally got an Enterprise approved tow truck out to us was the fact that I said, “I am a nurse, and if you needed me in a time of trouble, I would come for you.” I will no longer stand by a company that has removed the significant worth and value of a human being. Follow-up with Our AAA Home Office: (this is what happen after I went in person to file the complaint) I took my mother, my children, and myself down to our local AAA home office, only to be met with absolute refusal to assist us in fixing a wrong. A wrong done to us at the hands of the AAA company. A company, we are paying a service fee, for services not rendered. We are promised certain perks, like being picked up on the side of the road while stranded, and none of these perks were delivered. When I went into our local office to right the wrong…What I was hoping to be met with was an “I am sorry that happened to you, we value your over 20 years of membership, let me help you make it right.” I can say the hope of AAA making it right was quickly dashed by the rudeness and impertinence of their current market of customer service. The man who took our complaint was bothered by the fact that I had the audacity to be filing a complaint in person. Not only was he rude and unwilling to be helpful, as he attempted to tell me that this was not a center that dealt with “my kinds of issues.” Evidence proves, now in this experience, that AAA does not deal in AAA issues, within a AAA office. Interesting enough, the story gets worse. When I asked to speak to the manager regarding the issue, we were told that we could not see the manager because his door was closed, and that he was a manager covering this area temporarily. Regardless, of if the manager is temporarily covering an area, common sense would indicate that there is some sort of training that might explain why a roadside service, I am paying a fee for, no longer picks up on the side of major US freeways or US highways. Better yet, why they cancelled two tow-trucks due to this new policy, and when asked to help us locate another service station, refused to do so. *I would give AAA zero stars if I was allowed to

    This is one of the worst services I have ever dealt with. I have been waiting for over 3hours, no one has shown up, no one answers, the hold time is infinity and beyond. How do you stay in Business?!!!! I am mortified to say the least. I am so pissed I could spit nails and hot tar right now. Shut this business down, board the doors, fire the workers, demolish the building, and bury it in the ground! You guys suck! I SHOULD BE COMPENSATED FOR BEING TREATED SO POORLY!

    Honestly I'll preface this review with a plea to those thinking that they have some protection with this company. You don't. They do not care. They have no sympathy for you or your situation. When I needed them the most they left me in a dangerous life threatening situation. My story: I decided to take a short 2 day trip from North Florida to the Highlands around NW Georgia on my 2011 Suzuki Boulevard. I have supplemental motorcycle coverage. Everything was going well on my trip until I was about to reach my camping destination around Lumpkin GA, south of Columbus. All of a sudden my rear tire deflated and I was lucky to get to the side of the road without crashing. However this is the beginning of the insanity. I called AAA and the rep couldn't even figure out where I was located after telling her repeatedly, I was on the phone for an hour as the sun was going down in temperatures of 95 degrees with real feel of over 100. I was confused and my body was starting to tingle from heat exhaustion. Finally I was given over to another supervisor who told me that there was no one available to help me but they would put me on the list. I told her I was 20 miles from a nearest town and was in trouble. She told me and I kid you not "People in GA are nice, just go up to a house or put out your thumb" I was told if things got dangerous to call 911. Thanks, so here I am stranded walking literally about to go into heat stroke. I know I would have probably died if a kind stranger and his girlfriend hadn't pulled over after 2 hours and from sheer kindness, gave me water and juice, and the man was nice enough to get his motorcycle trailer and help get my bike out to his camp where they generously let me stay. So there I stayed without food or water except for what they gave me thankfully, I slept out in the wild with no supplies being eaten alive by mosquitoes. No AAA ever came, no phone call nothing. When I called them the next morning they still had nothing. I was desperate and called every tow truck I could but I had no internet in the wilderness and no one was available. I decided to call uhaul and they had nothing for me. I found out that greyhound buses weren't running and I probably couldn't even get a taxi out to a station anyways. So I started calling motorcycle mechanics and got a hold of a gentleman. At this point I had nothing, nowhere to go, no place to get towed to and wait, I had to get home quickly. So I offered him my motorcycle as payment if he would drive me back home, which he did. So thanks AAA, I thought I could count on you. Instead I almost died, suffered trauma I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy and lost my motorcycle. Your company is trash and filth. Please heed my warning and don't ever believe the lie that you can trust this company.

    AAA SUCKS

    I was rear ended by a AAA insured car. Police report showed AAA car 100% at fault. Sixty four days later and I still don't have my car back from the body shop. The shop has the car done, but AAA won't ok the repairs. AAA loves to get paid premiums, but are vary slow to pay out claims.

    AAA homeowners insurance is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Couldn’t close on my loan because they wouldn’t update the mortgage requested by the finance company. They would t do it over the phone. Cancelled with them and went with someone else.

    AAA PLEASE HEAR ME I have been with this company since the 80's . my other half just waited over 3 hours for you to show up . Not acceptable . . I have been with this tow company since the 80's . I trusted you almost 30 years . You left my other half alongside the road for over 3 hours . In a rural area . I am done with you. we will have another tow company I will not renew my card . 3 hours later we just paid $500.00 for a tow . what a disappointment after all these years . Nope you just lost a customer that believed in you since the 80's . I’m filing formal complaint with Dept of insurance ; they are selling device for tow they can’t provide . Please do the same.

    6+ hours and still no tow

    They automated the claim service online. Hard to speak to someone. Claim was made at 3pm tow was scheduled for 5:11pm called and spoke to someone at 6pm. He said the dispatcher was on it and they would call me ASAP. It is now 9pm and no call no tow.

    absolute hell

    If I could give my experience zero stars I would. Was told it might take up to three hours and waited in the heat. They called and told us we were the next in line to be helped. After five hours we received a call saying no one could come to us and call another service. When we explained we were blocking roadway someone finally showed up but with the wrong truck and was unable to help. Wasted my entire afternoon and only sent help when we called and complained. Does not care about its customers or their safety. I’ve been stranded for over 8 hours because of their poor communication and management.

    False promises

    I called to have my car towed to my repair garage. The dispatcher convinced me to have my car towed to a AAA garage because they could get to it right away and probably have diagnosis in an hour. When I arrived at the shop, I was told that they would not look at it that day, or the next, maybe in two days. It's 2 days and still waiting.

    Stranded by AAA without a word.

    The worst experience tonight 7/28/2021 that have ever experienced with any towing situation. My buddy is a member for AAA we were at work and my truck broke down. So we had it towed to one of our job sites that was less than a mile away I could not leave it there but I did not want it left on the street. I explained to my lady the situation. Bless her heart, she left work and used her AAA membership to get it home. She called and they said our tow was dispatched and would arrive at 5:45 pm of the same day. 6:38pm came around we call to see what was going on. They said they canceled our tow. We asked why? the lady said because the driver did. We said that makes no sense. We need a tow. We did not cancel. The lady said well we cannot use a member ship more than once a day. Now i know this is false because we have before. Policy also says otherwise. Now at this point I know something is not right. My lady told her she did not use the membership at all this year. The lady continued to say we can not use it twice in a day. She would not listen to what she was being told as to it has not been used. Then the woman for AAA changed her reasoning and said we cannot tow the same vehicle more than once a day. Again, we have before. And the policy says up to 4 free with no waiting time in between. Now, even if that were true, We were still left stranded after being told we will be picked up at a set time yet,never contacted to say we were not going to be towed. Where in the AAA policy does it say that? That it is ok to leave your paying customers stranded knowing you wont be picked up and not say anything. Then refuse to give us any information on who to contact about the matter. That is not right and not ok. We pay so much money a month for what? The lady didn't even try to help the situation in anyway. I can get better service for way less than this mess.

    7 HOUR WAIT TIME IN AN EMERGENCY AND CLEAR WEATHER!

    I pay for service every year and it's been that way for the last 6 years. AAA gladly takes my money... I called for an emergency towing since my car stopped in the middle of the road. I told them it was an emergency but it clearly didn't matter. I called for service on 07/25/2021 at 5:27 pm pst and I was told the wait time is about an hour. After the hour passed I received a call from dispatch telling me the driver had to be reassigned to handle an emergency AS IF MINE WASN'T IMPORTANT. Oh I am just in the middle of the road blocking traffic! That is exactly how it looked for 7 hours. I called for AAA at 5:27 pm 5/25/2021 and a driver didn't show up until 12:26 am 5/26/2021. It is very important to know that your ethnicity makes a difference with AAA. Had I known, I would have saved my money! Now since I see what is happening, if the bill gets paid now, it will be from someone else's pocket. Each time I called I was given lies. Each time dispatch called me it was to inform me that the drivers are on emergency calls. I spoke to multiple supervisors and one at 9:34 pm Jason who stated after a 15 minute hold that the driver was located and on a call but I am next. His drop of is only 6 miles, and then he will be heading my way. He also stated that he will contact me after his break with the ETA of that driver. JASON NEVER CALLED AND THE DRIVER WAS REASSIGNED. I called again at 10:10 pm and the agent told me I will need to wait 3 more hours. I asked for a supv. and after a 15 minute hold Maryann a supervisor, came to the phone and her tone was ALL WRONG. She looked into my acct and said, I have some advice for you! Call another towing company! Smh I responded that it was never going to happen! She said, I have given you my advice. YOU CANNOT ADVISE SOMEONE TO PAY FOR TOWING WITH ANOTHER COMPANY AFTER THEY HAVE PAID YOU FOR THE SAME SERVICE. She has been reported! I continued calling back to back at that point because I had enough! If you are going to make me wait 7 hours for service, it's only fair that they sit on the phone with me and keep me company. I was given lots of lies to the point where I had enough! At 11:00 give or take a few minutes. I spoke to Alexis who lied as well and I stopped her. From that moment going forward, she shared everything and I am happy she did. She told me that my call was reassigned multiple times to different drivers and different companies. They just didn't want to help me! Since that is allowed, NO ONE NEEDS MY SERVICE! LOSE A CUSTOMER, LOSE MONEY! IT'S WORTH IT! I was assigned to ABC towing, Quality towing, and Club Fleet Las Vegas. They transferred my call to all of these companies since no one wanted to help me. This went on for 7 hours. Why should I see it any differently than racial profiling. My ethnicity or the name may have made these heathens act the way they did. I was left in a bad situation and the temp was at least 116 degrees. Alexis was my last call for the day, she too made me hold for 30 minutes. She agreed by saying, yeah it was about 30 minutes. LIKE OH NO PROBLEM, IT'S ONLY 30 MINUTES. The longest I should have held is 4 minutes and then asked to be placed back on hold. It's only worth it, if I am being helped! Alexis said theres an outage. The outage started at 10:42 pm. SO FROM 5:27 PM - 10:40 PM, I COULD HAVE BEEN HELPED! Clear weather, my call was an emergency and I waited 7 hours. I decided to file my complaint today 07/27/2021 and after calling the numbers on my card, they said wrong number. You are calling the wrong state. If AAA helps in any state, my complaint should have accepted in their state! People started transferring me and 3 times, I was still in the wrong state. AAA FAILED TO UPDATE MY ACCT TO THE STATE I AM IN. I been here since 2019... After several agents I was transferred to a supervisor at 3:37 pm pst and his name was, Eric. After he accessed my acct he began speaking over me, interrupting on purpose. I mentioned I needed to file a complaint. He refused to help me stating, over my voice, that someone has already placed a complaint in my account on 07/26/2021 on my half. I HAVE A HUGE PROBLEM WHEN PEOPLE TRY SPEAKING FOR ME! AND BEING RUDE! Burns me up! Only an employee of AAA could have done that with hopes to soften the blow as if it would change the time I waited! BIANCA SHE ANSWERED MY CALL AT AROUND 3:46 PM PST. I told her my complaint is going in and I do not care what they said. WHAT MATTERS IS ONLY WHAT I SAY!!! She had no issues with taking my complaint and even read it back to me. She was professional and handled that call 100% better than Eric on 5/27/21 and every supervisor I spoke to on 05/25/2021. shameful! She gave me a CTS case number and since Eric made matters worse by refusing my complaint. I have now put a complaint in with BBB and every company involved will get it too. Thank you Bianca for being professional! But, this still doesn't resolve anything!!! RESOLUTION STILL NEEDED!

    We had our 3rd flat on our 20 ft rv trailer on our trip to Ohio. South Carslina AAA had no problem changing 2 flats. We got our 3rd flat heading home, in Canton. AAA informed us that they could not come out and change my flat because I didn't have a AAA RV membership. They gave no advise except call a tow company. They offered NO help and left us stranded in the middle of nowhere with NO resources. How does a company that I pay my membership to, leave me and my family stranded on a busy interstate!!?? With NO help!!?? They say that they have 'service in all 50 states,'...that's why I got it!! I travel to states other than where I live. I'm done with AAA. They will NEVER see another cent from me. A WORD OF ADVISE. IF YOU TRAVEL, DONT GET STUCK LIKE WE WERE. Thank you

    AAA is useless!!

    After 20 years I just cancelled my membership. They did to my friend what they have been doing to everybody-made him wait over 3 hours on the highway for a tow truck then never showed up! he had to call a private company and pay out of pocket. This company is now officially useless-save your money!

    After getting a flat tire and sitting for one hour and 40 minutes we are still on the side of the road, just finally being notified by a AAA subcontractor that he was notified. It could be another hour or so, all this with us having a premium plan that cost just under $300 a year. What a joke. Very disappointing, time to shop around. Don’t involved with these people.

    Not too happy with AAA Roadside…

    Not too happy with AAA Roadside Assistance. I was told I should call the day I need the tow and a driver would be there in 15 minutes. Going on this information, the day I called for a tow it took 1 hour to get a driver to my place, not 15 minutes. Then they sent the rudest towing company. Need to make plans to get rid of AAA and go with an alternative company. Plus, their automative repair shop did work on my car in the past that was bad for my particular type of car. They were looking to make extra money off me.
