Once you’ve shared your basic details, you’ll receive a set of quotes via email. It’s up to you to compare them and choose which company you prefer, although you’re still not committed to any policy. Once you’ve chosen a life insurance provider, SelectQuote coordinates with licensed paramedical examiners to carry out your pre-qualification checkup, which includes taking blood and urine samples. This checkup is free of charge, takes about 30 minutes, and you can choose the location—either your home or your office.

The results of your checkup are sent to you directly and shared only with the insurance company you chose. At this point, you’ll get a final price agreement from the company and start paying your premiums.
