Earn an unlimited 2% cash back on all purchases—no category tracking and no caps. With the Wells Fargo Signify Business Cash, every business expense qualifies at the flat 2% rate.
In practical terms, that means every $10,000 in annual business spending earns you $200 back automatically, without having to think about bonus categories or quarterly enrollment.
For example, let's say you put an average of $2,000 a month on business expenses on your card. This adds up to $24,000 a year, and shakes out to $480 a year in cash-back rewards. Spend about $5,000 a month on the card, and you're looking at $1,200 in rewards annually.
Average Monthly Spend | Estimated Annual Cash-Back Rewards (2%) |
$2,000 per month | $480 per year |
$5,000 per month | $1,200 per year |
The beauty of the Signify Business Cash card by Wells Fargo is that there are multiple ways you can redeem your rewards. Let's take a look:
If you have a consumer Wells Fargo credit card, you can combine your rewards from the Signify Business Cash credit card with your existing card for higher pooled points. Remember: Your points never expire, as long as you keep your account open.
Wells Fargo has also launched a travel rewards program with the following airline partners: Aer Lingus AerClub (1:1 transfer ratio), Air France/KLM Flying Blue (1:1 transfer ratio), Avianca LifeMiles (1:1 transfer ratio), British Airways Executive Club (1:1 transfer ratio), Iberia Plus (1:1 transfer ratio), JetBlue (1:1 transfer ratio) and Choice Hotels (1:2 transfer ratio). With the Signify Business card, you can move your points to a participating partner.
However, the Wells Fargo Signify Business Cash Card primarily earns cash rewards that are best redeemed as statement credits, gift cards or travel bookings through Wells Fargo.
A key “insider” tip is that you can pool the cash rewards from this card with points from a Wells Fargo consumer card (such as the Wells Fargo Autograph Card), and then use that combined balance with Wells Fargo’s airline and hotel transfer partners.
The Signify Business Card boasts a no annual fee. So you won't have to spend a minimum to have it pay off.
You can enjoy a no-interest period for the first 12 months from account opening. After the promotional period ends, the APR kicks over to a 16.74% - 24.74%. The APR you get approved for is based on your creditworthiness. A zero-percent interest period can come in handy if you anticipate a larger purchase in the near future for your business.
Cash advances and overdraft protection have the same higher rate than the standard APR at 29.74% Variable.
Now, let's take a look at the fees. The fees are pretty straightforward and standard: For cash advances, it's $10 or 5% of the card advance, whichever is higher. So if you take out an advance of $200, it's a $10 fee. For a $400 advance, you pay $20 in fees. Late payments will cost you up to $40.
One thing to keep in mind: There is a foreign transaction fee of 3%. So if you're traveling for business overseas, it's probably best to shelf this card and use a card with no foreign transaction fees.
It’s also important to note that while this card offers a 0% intro APR on purchases for 12 months from account opening, balance transfers do not qualify for this promotional rate, so it’s not designed as a balance transfer card.
Besides a generous 2% flat cash back on all purchases, you can enjoy a solid welcome bonus offer - Earn a $500 cash rewards bonus when you spend $5,000 in purchases for your business in the first 3 months.
Depending on your small business's expenses, this could be an easy way to earn some cash to put back into your business. Another tactic to meet the spending threshold? If you put a larger purchase on your card, such as business taxes or a big-ticket item.
Unlike some no-annual fee cards, the Signify Business card comes with some perks. This includes a free annual membership to Priority Pass, which includes over 1,800 lounges globally and the standard membership is valued at $99 – but with a caveat. You'll still need to pay a separate fee to access the lounges. Other travel perks include travel insurance of up to $250,000 when you book travel with your card, and car rental insurance.
Security highlights:
- $0 liability for unauthorized transactions
- 24/7 fraud monitoring and alerts
- Ability to lock your card and manage alerts from the app
Wells Fargo's measures to keep your sensitive financial and personal information safe include encryption and browser requirements when you're logged onto Wells Fargo online and on the app, and automatic sign-off. There's also around-the-clock fraud monitoring, and Wells Fargo will alert you should they detect any suspicious activity on your card.
The app features biometric verification, such as using your fingerprint and two-factor authentication. You can also use a passkey or voice verification.
Additional security steps mean that your card might be declined, or there's delayed or blocked online transactions. And like most major credit cards, if you become a victim of fraud, you won't be financially on the hook for unauthorized transactions.
What this means for you
Turn on: real-time transaction alerts, 2FA, biometric login, and passkeys in the app settings.
Use card controls: enable temporary card lock and location/travel notices to reduce false declines.
Review alerts: respond to suspicious-activity prompts quickly to avoid extended holds.
Wells Fargo has an easy-to-navigate website. It's easy to find information about their credit cards. You can find rates, fees, benefits, terms, and well as a handy FAQ section nestled at the bottom of the page. Plus, it makes it easy to take a look at their available suite of personal and credit cards.
As for the Wells Fargo mobile app, on the Google Play store, it currently boasts a 4.8 out of 5 stars based on nearly 2.8 million reviews and over 10 million downloads. On the App Store, users give the mobile app 4.9 stars out of 5, based on 10 million ratings.
Users tout that the app is intuitive and easy to use with excellent customer service. Negative reviews, however, say that updating one's info can be a bit of a slog and some features are unusable.
The app allows you to do the basics – think access your credit accounts, and review your activity and balances. You can make payments, change your automatic or recurring payments, and activate your accounts.
Overall, the Wells Fargo mobile app is highly rated on both major app stores and is generally viewed as user-friendly for everyday account management.

To test the real-world experience, we contacted Wells Fargo’s customer service channels ourselves. Here’s what we found:
When we tried out these different channels:
I had a hard time reaching a live agent, as it was recommended that those who are applying for a card do so online or step into a Wells Fargo location.
After being bounced around to several different departments and agents, I was not able to get most of my questions about the card answered.
The customer service reps were polite and did their best to help.
This first-hand test gives a more realistic picture of what business owners can expect when they need support: polite representatives, but some friction in getting to the right person and clear answers.
Together, real-world user feedback and expert analysis paint a fuller picture of how this card performs beyond the marketing copy.
The Wells Fargo Signify Business Cash Credit card doesn't have a designated Trustpilot page. However, Wells Fargo, as a whole, has 1.4 out of 5 Trustpilot score, based on over 600 reviews, which puts it in the "bad" category.
The majority of reviews (79%) were one-star reviews, while 9% were five-star reviews. Negative reviews ranged from poor customer service to the inability to do a balance transfer. On the flip side, positive reviews include positive experiences with tellers.
At the time this was published, it wasn't an accredited business on the Better Business Bureau.
Redditors seem to enjoy the fact that this is an unrivaled card with 2% unlimited cash back with no caps on spending limits. There also seems to be a fair amount of discussion over how to qualify for this particular card.
"Wells Fargo Signify Business Card lives up to its name with a straightforward competitive cash back reward rate, no fee, and a 12 months from account opening 0% intro APR that can be very helpful for financing startup costs or large purchases over time," says credit expert Geri Detweiler.
"Because the Signify comes with a 0% intro APR introductory rate for 12 months from account opening, it can help you finance your purchases for up to a year at no cost", points out Detweiler. That is, provided you pay on time and pay off the balance before the intro rate expires and the standard APR kicks in.
So how to decide whether to get a business card with no annual fee versus one with a fee?
You'll want to take a good look at your spending and the benefits to decide whether it’s worth it to pay an annual fee, explains Detweiler. "I have a credit card with a very high annual fee, but have also cancelled cards due to annual fees because the cards no longer provided enough benefits."
Both cards are no-annual-fee business cards with a flat rewards rate on all purchases. The Wells Fargo Signify Business Cash Card offers 2% cash back on every purchase, while Chase Ink Business Unlimited® typically earns 1.5% cash back on all purchases but ties into Chase’s Ultimate Rewards® ecosystem.

The U.S. Bank Triple Cash Rewards Visa® focuses on elevated rewards in select categories, typically offering 3% cash back in common business categories such as gas stations, office supply stores, cell phone services, and restaurants, and 1% on other purchases. The Wells Fargo Signify Business Cash Card instead gives you 2% cash back on every purchase, regardless of category.
Pick the U.S. Bank Triple Cash Rewards Visa® if your spending is heavily concentrated in its 3% bonus categories. Pick the Wells Fargo Signify Business Cash Card if your business spending is spread across many categories and you prefer straightforward, flat-rate rewards without tracking where every dollar goes.
We looked at and rated credit cards in the following categories. Here's how our review process works:
Rates and fees: We looked carefully at credit card rates such as the purchase and promotional APR. We also carefully looked at fees (i.e., annual fee, balance transfer fee, cash advance fee, and foreign transaction fee.)
Features and benefits: We factored in any valuable features and benefits like the rewards structure, base rewards program, sign-on bonus, recurring benefits, and additional perks. Some perks were more related to travel rewards, while others were better suited for cash back or general everyday rewards.
Security: With security an increasing concern, we considered various factors in our assessment. This included measures to protect card and personal data. Sophisticated security measures like card freezes and card alerts for suspicious activity and large transactions, are also factored in.
User experience: Different aspects of the user experience, from navigating the card issuer's website, reviews of the app, to ease of the application process, are meticulously analyzed and weighed. Other factors include how soon one can use the card and how easy it is to make the most of its features and benefits.
Customer service: We compare the credit card issuer's Trustpilot score and BBB ratings against those of its competitors and industry averages. We also factor in the company's different customer service channels (e.g., telephone, chat, email, and physical mail) and test response times and quality of experience.
The Wells Fargo Signify Business Cash Card can be a strong choice if you want a straightforward cash rewards card with a solid 2% unlimited cash back and no annual fee.
To help you decide whether the card is a good fit for you, business credit expert Marco Carbajo recommends pinning down your business’s spending profile and goals.
First, look over the last six to 12 months of your business expenses. "If you have a broad spending pattern and you don’t want to track categories, choose a business credit card with no-annual fee and a flat cash-back rate," says Carbajo, who is the President of Business Credit Insiders Circle. "Also, if building business credit is a goal, ensure the card reports to the business credit reporting agencies.”
For business owners who feel overwhelmed by the choices in business rewards credit cards, cash is always a good choice, says Detweiler. "Business owners can always find a way to use cash!"
