Wat een top bedrijf en medewerkster
Onlangs een claim van waterschade ingediend via de app, deze app is duidelijk en de claim is dan ook zeer makkelijk in te dienen. Vrij snel werd er door Wandhana contact met ons opgenomen. Zij was ontzettend duidelijk, behulpzaam, snel, persoonlijk op een erg prettige manier en oprecht vriendelijk. Vanaf het indienen tot de afhandeling was dit een zeer prettige ervaring, hier kunnen veel bedrijven en mensen zich een voorbeeld aan nemen.

Absolute Empfehlung
Also ich hab in meinem Leben noch nicht so eine gute Erfahrung mit einem Unternehmen gemacht. Ich habe den Diebstahlschutz zusätzlich zur Haftpflicht- und Hausratsversicherung aus einem spontanen Impetus heraus abgeschlossen. Als mein Handy mir geklaut wurde war die Abwicklung mit Lemonade extrem schnell und sensibel. Es ist schön, dass der Prozess auf das Wesentliche reduziert ist, und keine langwierigen förmlichen Schreiben notwendig sind um die Sachlage klar zu machen. Der Schaden wurde komplett übernommen. Kann nur jedem empfehlen eine Versicherung bei Lemonade abzuschließen.

Inept, unsuccessful handling of our policy application
Lemonade is set up to take applications only online. This sounds like a modern innovative system, but it doesn't work. There are no call numbers to talk with any human. Many different named “persons” communicate with you, some probably AI programs. After a week of failure to get the proper coverage in place, we gave up and asked for a refund of the premiums they had charged during the week they had failed to get the full policy in place. Lemonade kept the money. Can one imagine what submitting a claim would be like? A nightmare. Strongly recommend wasting your time with these folks. Or AI. Or whatever it is that’s in charge over there.

UNTRUSTWORTHY & NO LOYALTY
They turned down one of my to dogs bc he had cancer. 2 different kinds, 2 different times. My Jack is a 2x CANCER SURVIVOR, and they should be celebrating this fact instead of denying coverage. I messaged the company, she replied with a question of which I answered. She had totally ignored my response. I now don't trust Lemonade Pet Ins even if they were free. FYI: I've never been turned down for either of my boys. I'm only having to look for a new insurer bc my current one has merged with or sold to another ins.

Their website is not working to give me an insurance quote. It keeps getting stuck at the "checking personal details" section. I've tried multiple times and it stops in the same spot. I clicked their help link and only received an automated response saying they received it, but that they have high volume and their could be a delay in response.

Ben snel en makkelijk geholpen, alles ging heel soepel. Het gaat weliswaar om een klein bedrag maar toch. Ik heb €82 ontvangen, dit terwijl ikzelf maar €65 had betaald. Er is nadat ik het product had besteld een prijsverhoging geweest, deze kreeg ik ook. Dus met het geld dat ik heb ontvangen kan ik een nieuwe kopen.

Flashy and cute on the outside, still bad insurance on the inside
They have cute and modern graphics. A nice app interface and stateside customer service. Biggest problem is they don’t pay out from my experience. They rejected a small claim for my pet because it was “preexisting”. The dog had a hurt paw and an infection from the injury. He had hurt another paw a few years back but not sure how that makes it preexisting. It’s another injury, but it just helped me realize they were going to do anything to avoid paying even a trivial amount. Better off setting aside money every month than donating to them.

Ik ben zo blij dat ik Lemonade schadeverzekeringen heb ontdekt! Het is zoveel beter dan de traditionele en ingewikkelde verzekeringen die ik eerder heb gehad. Ik ben geholpen door Wandhana en was oprecht verrast door haar vriendelijkheid en duidelijke uitleg van het proces. Ik beveel deze verzekeringsmaatschappij van harte aan aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een snelle, eenvoudige en transparante manier van verzekeren. They don't cover valuables
Do not pay for appraisals for valuables as directed by Lemonade. I had some watches appraised at a company here in NYC that has been doing it for 50 years. The appraisals, which were expensive, were not accepted by the Lemonade. They told me I was welcome to have them appraised again by another company but refused to provide a name for accepted appraisers. After a lot of back and forth, it was clear they just don't want to cover riders. I sent the appraisals to 4 other Insurance companies who all said it was a standard appraisal and would be accepted. If they were this difficult here, I can't even imagine what would happen with a claim.

Quick, relatively easy and friendly
Was very happy with the way the company handled my case. The claim process could be a bit more flexible when cases aren't as straight forward, but a few days after I made my claim on the app, I was contacted by someone and could sort out all the questions I had and soon after my claim was settled. The person that handled my case was curious and very helpful, would definitely recommend.

Ook bij claim goeie ervaring!
2 jaar geleden heel soepel een polis kunnen vastleggen voor aansprakelijkheid AVP, inboedel + diefstal zonder eigen risico voor €10 per maand via de app. Deze maand waren mijn winterjas en handschoenen helaas gestolen uit de trein. Bij het claimproces moet je in een video vertellen wat er is gebeurd, de politie-aangifte uploaden en de facturen van de spullen via de mail sturen. Daarna was mijn claim in 5 seconden goedgekeurd en binnen 3 dagen uitbetaald naar nieuwprijs! Echt heel fijn zo'n goeie ervaring bij een stomme gebeurtenis! Hopen dat ik nooit meer wat hoef te claimen.

Express Claim Service - Extremely Satisfied
I filed a home contents claim on 1st of February and it was resolved within 7 days. The Lemonade Team were extremely empathetic and communicated regularly throughout the claim process. I am extremely happy I signed up for Lemonade 5 years ago. My monthly premium is a small cost on my bank statement but at least I know they have my back when I need them most.

Although expensive the insurance does not cover sick visits and has a pricey deductible. That said, it has been helpful to have this coverage for my labradoodle puppy who eats everything she can get her mouth on, necessitating several trips to the vet the past almost 2 years. Reimbursement by lemonade is usually made by the day or two following my submitting the bills.

Over 6 months and claim not processes, no one answers messages or calls
I cannot overstate how awful it's been working with Lemonade. It's been 6 months since I filed my claim. The team is completely unresponsive and I can't get a hold of someone who will help me process it. Even though we pay for all the most premium coverages they say they offer, the money is nowhere to be seen and we're out of pocket on over $50,000. Do not do your insurance with them!

Terrible customer service if you need to make a claim
I have homeowner's insurance with Lemonade. The price was good and I love the idea of "giveback" if we're not making claims. We had to make a claim on some water damage in our basement and it's been a terrible experience, so I am shopping for new insurance now. The short version is that I've been passed to FOUR different people within Lemonade. They settled the claim pretty quickly, but they couldn't recommend any contractors so I went and found 5 myself. I obtained bids from all 5 and they were all 30-50% higher than the Lemonade adjustor had calculated (even when we considered recoverable depreciation). I provided the bids to Lemonade, they sat on them for weeks while I called and emailed to try and get some answers. They finally let me know they wouldn't meet any of the bids. I asked them to find me a contractor (licensed, bonded, and insured) who could do the work for the price Lemonade said such that I would only be out our deductible. They said someone would call me the next day. That was Monday, and now it's Friday after business hours -- no call, no email, NOTHING from Lemonade or their supposed contractor. So it's the middle of winter in Colorado and I have holes in my basement walls with no insulation; I have contractors who can do the work but I will be out thousands of dollars in addition to our deductible; and I can't even get Lemonade to return my calls or emails. I wish I could give them 0 stars. I don't recommend them AT ALL.

Absurd terms
I got Lemonade insurance the same day my puppy arrived to me from Europe. She was absolutely healthy but during the 14-days waiting period she got severe diarrhea, so we went to an ER and paid out of pocket. Now every time my dog has any gastrointestinal issues, Lemonade refuses to cover the treatment because they say call it a pre-existing condition! Lemonade doesn't even cover vet visits which I paid extra for. I asked them over email if diarrhea will be a pre-existing condition for the whole life of my dog and they've confirmed it, which is a true non-sense.

HORRIBLE. I feel scammed out of hundreds of dollars. I have an elderly cat, first I was informed they are not covering neoplasia due to his age and back in 2021 there was note in his records “possible neoplasia” when later he was diagnosed with UTI and didn’t show any symptoms. Fast forward to another claim 6months later, he had a UTI (after over a year) and they claim it is a pre-existing condition. After weeks of waiting a call back, I was informed that even if pet had a flu 5years ago, it is a pre-existing condition. There’s nothing like that specified in their policy nor advertised. This is ridiculous and feels like a big spam. If you have a pet that ever had a vet visit, please keep away from this company. Not that I waisted thousands of dollars at this point, but their customer service team is horrible at communication and is completely disrespectful. In general company has extremely shady practices.

My dog got attacked and had to be in the ICU for two nights. Lemonade was great and luckily I didn’t have to worry about the money as there was a lot more to worry about. They paid for the follow up X-ray with an immediate transfer to my bank. Claims process is easy and quick.

Lemonade Insurance Claims are a JOKE!
A pipe busted in my basement 12/31/2022. I immediately contacted my renter's insurance Lemonade around 11:30 am. I was advised to download the app. Once the app was downloaded I was prompted with several questions. I was also required to submit a video of the damages- the pipe that was leaking along with footage of items that were damaged with cost. All this was completed on 12/31/2022. I was then advised to contact the community manager and have the issue repaired. I received an email advising me to save all items for further investigation. After a week I had not heard anything else from Lemonade. Mildew had set in and items were becoming moldy and they smelt. I emailed Lemonade advising them along with more photos of the items dripping in water with mold/mildew. The repair was made immediately and was reported. Yet nothing from Lemonade. Finally, after 2-week and several emails, Molly contacted me. Only to tell me she did not get the photos. I sent photos again. It;s now been 3-weeks. I have not heard from anyone. Some of the items that were lost are used for my job and are expensive to replace. I've reached out several times but no one replies. I pay my premium in full one a year. I have not filed any claims and this is covered under my policy. It's unsettling that they feel as though they do not have to reach out in regard to questions. They advertise one thing but in reality, they are a nightmare to deal with. I want my claim settled immediately as I have completed everything that was required. Yet Lemonade has done nothing.

If you are a homeowner do not waste your time with Lemonade. This company is no more serious than their name. They asked pictures of the whole house, asked more questions and then decided not to insure my home because the water heater was 10 years old. My water heater is a Rheem Marathon with a plastic tank that has a lifetime warranty. It sits on a pan with a drain. You either are an insurance cie or you are not. They are a waste of time hiding behind a robot technology.

Expérience incroyable, je me suis fait cambrioler et les équipes de Lemonade ont été très réactives : j'ai eu une assistance en ligne, et pour ce qui concerne le remboursement des objets volés, les échanges ont été très fluides, le process simple, et la bienveillance de l'assureur au rdv, je ne regrette pas du tout cette assurance, au contraire je la recommande mille fois!

Above and beyond claims experience
I claimed for a stolen bicycle. The bicycle was second hand and I didn't have any proof of ownership (e.g. invoice with my name). I had a photo of me on the bike, a police report and an old bank statement that showed when I bought it. With only this, Lemonade happily and quickly paid me more than what I was expecting! Incredible service. Thank you, Lemonade!

Claimed for a stolen bike
Had my bike stolen a few hours back. Filed my claim after making a police report online, and the claim was with lemonade was filled out by me in about 20 minutes. It was approved and settled by lemonade in literally 10 seconds. I’m very happy with an experience so quick and seamless.

Peace of mind
Peace of mind, fast and supportive. We've had our dog insured with Lemonade since the beginning. The routine care coverage is comprehensive, although I did mess up getting his vaccines twice within the same coverage year, so something to keep an eye on. However dogs will always find a way to do something dumb, which is why insurance is a must have for your pet as a responsible owner. Our dog managed to have an allergic reaction to a bee he ate, and tore a nail off playing fetch. Both initial treatment and followups have been covered, and I've always been confident rushing to the vets that I don't have to worry about paperwork/networks. Their claim process is simple and fast through the app, and gives you a choice to submit invoices by line item, or just send it over and get their help breaking it down. I often have to rely on the latter as I try to decipher a vet bill. You can find cheaper insurance options, but I can promise your pet will find someway to make you pay way more anyway. Lemonade's terms definitely avoid that.

Initially I liked this company's pet…
Initially I liked this company's pet insurance but between them not 'fully' paying for things because of 'loopholes' and continued policy increases (2023 increased by 29% from 2022) it makes more sense to just put away money into a separate account. Submissions are all via the app which is okay, however, the first time I needed to file a claim it took weeks to get reimbursed. They then try to make you jump through hoops to get a copy of the Vet 'notes' from the chart but I always not tell them that 'they can call and get it themselves'. They don't cover the initial pet exam fee which is similar to you paying your 'copayment' if you go to a doctor, however, what they fail to tell you is that vets all charge this different and/or can combine charges so while it 'may' partially be an exam fee it often times can be a fee that is both an exam fee but something is also performed. For example, they did not reimburse when I brought my dog BACK to the vet to get stitches out simply because the vet does charge a 'Office Visit - level 2' but it includes the cost of removing sutures which is a line item below it, but it says the cost is 'included' in the office visit charge. So they refuse to even consider the fact that the office visit was to remove sutures and not for an exam. So you end up getting NOTHING back! I can give many examples like this, they simply look for loopholes to NOT give you money back and their customer service is all online which means no one is really answering your complaints. I would switch companies but unfortunately I have this policy for 2 dogs and both have had 'some' claims in 2022 so anything related in the future would be declined be a different company. If I had to do pet insurance ALL over again, I would simply put away $100/pet into a savings account per month and you'd by far be better of doing that than dealing with this awful pet insurance companies.

Ik was net een week klant bij Lemonade, toen toevallig net mijn keuken ineens een lekkage vertoonde, kon ik gelukkig bij Lemonade terecht. Want alles maar dan ook echt alles werd goed gecommuniceerd en duidelijk uitgelegd, ook hebben ze voor mij wat meer geduld gezien mijn Autisme en als nodig was voor meer uitleg dan deden ze dat ook nog eens! Al- in al, voor mij de eersté verzekering ooit gezien ik net mijn eerst huurhuis heb, maar ook de laatste, ik zou hier bij blijven tot het eind. want zón snelle reactie van Lemonade, en schakelingen, heb ik persoonlijk bij geen-een instantie gezien. Fijn dat Lemonade er is, en ik raad hem zeker aan.

I once raved about this company but not after 12/26/22. I've been staying in a damaged apartment with no water, no place to go stay in and no call back from ANYONE to resolve or discuss my claim. Unless you count the automatic email telling me that the claims rep will get back with me after the holidays? Well it is after the holidays but I have yet to hear anything from him. It is now 12/29 and each day gets worse. Don't get with this company. A horrible situation I'm in.

POLICY LIES
As I read in another review before, if your pet had diarrhea before they will never cover anything to do with diarrhea for its entire life. My pet had seizures before and had treatment for liver, and after 12 months of symptom free she had it again, but this time the vet has confirmed it is not a liver problem and still unknown. I wanted to get insured for the visit by the policy that says 12 month of no symptom or treatment an illness can be considered cured, but in reality it is not like that, my claim got denied anyway saying that this is pre-existing and they are not reconsidering it. This means my pet will never be considered covered for seizures of any reason even if 5 years passes.

Best decision you’ll make
Lemonade has been a lifesaver since getting my shih tzu. Claims are easy to make and you usually have an answer right away or within the week. I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t have Lemonade. It’s great having peace of mind to know that I have someone to help when medical expenses arise.

Unfair policy
Their policy is written to ensure there is no possibility of getting any portion of your expense as a payout in the claim. I have been paying the monthly premium for almost 1.5 years. So far, after going through all their steps, they come back with a rejection, saying if the illness (ear infection) happens again in 6 months, it's a pre-existing condition. This is not even from switching insurance; it is within their coverage. I am staying away.

These guys do everything online including suck. This service requires you to do a court style deposition for a puppy accident claim. Dumb, and dumber, cold and uninviting when it comes to insurance. I like Spot, Spot actually paid half my spay for 2 dogs and all you do is send in your invoice. I ended my account with lemons.

Assurance bas coût mais vous devrez accepter de faire une partie du travail
Suite à un bris de vitre chez moi j’ai ouvert un dossier sinistre. Vous devez d’abord prouvez que le dégât n’était pas présent avant de l’avoir déclaré. Je vous conseille donc de faire une photo de vos vitrages, murs, plafond, mobilier et autres avec date car en cas de sinistre vous devez prouver que ce n’était pas ainsi avant. Ensuite si le dossier est validé c’est à vous de trouver un vitrier et d’effectuer les devis. Un devis n’a pas été accepté at trop cher mais il ne vous conseil pas d’artisans. Mon second devis moins cher a été accepté. Les fonds arrivent rapidement sur le compte en banque mais c’est à vous de vous coordonner avec l’artisan. Dossier traité en 1 mois et demi. Bref un assurance bas coût oui si vous acceptez de faire une partie du travail. Et surtout faite des photos avant dégât pour ne pas vous faire gentiment traiter de mal honnête.

Late payment and no response
The response to the claim was super-fast; however I was informed by the agent that because the claim was approved late on a Friday afternoon the funds due would not reach my account until Monday. The money was only transferred on Tuesday after I had sent an email showing that the replacement item had now increased in cost on Monday night and I requested that the difference was also refunded - no response. I am now out of pocket and no response from your team following my last communication.
