Toggle’s comprehensive and customizable auto insurance policies will be a good fit for you if you have unique coverage needs. In particular, if you frequently drive with a pet or use your car to provide rideshare or grocery delivery services, Toggle can ensure that those activities are covered as well.

Toggle might also be right for you if you want to get insurance without having to go through the hassle of having to speak to an agent on the phone. In general, auto owners who want flexible, fast, and easy-to-obtain insurance can benefit the most from Toggle’s services.

Types of Auto Insurance

Toggle offers the following types of insurance:

Bodily Injury Liability

If you’re at fault in a car accident, this coverage pays for the medical bills incurred by the injured party, yourself excluded. This coverage also pays for legal defense costs if you are sued for the accident. Exact limits will be specified in the Declarations Page of your contract.

Property Damage Liability

If you’re at fault in an accident, this coverage compensates other parties for the damage you do to their vehicles. Exact limits will be specified in the Declarations Page of your contract.

Collision

This coverage pays for the cost of repairs needed to fix your vehicle if you’re involved in an accident. Exact limits will be specified in the Declarations Page of your contract.

Pet Passenger™ coverage

This coverage pays for any medical costs up to $1,000 that may arise if your pet is injured in an accident.

Toggle On Side Hustle® Auto coverage

This coverage compensates you or other parties (including passengers) in the event that property damage or injuries occur while you are using your car for rideshare or delivery. Hustle covers up to $2,000 per month in lost remuneration, plus $10,000 in legal fees, provided you make less than $25,000 per year from your side hustle.

Additional Features

In addition to its insurance, Toggle also offers carbon offsets. For a few extra dollars a month, you can help you lower your carbon footprint and offset the environmental impact of driving. Toggle will pass your contribution on to projects that work to reduce greenhouse gases, such as carbon capture, tree planting, and more.

Toggle will also help you transition away from your old insurance company. The company will pay for any termination or change fees associated with canceling your old policy.

How to Apply

Getting Toggle insurance is simple.

  1. Navigate to Toggle’s official website.

  2. Click “Get My Price.” You will be prompted to fill in some demographic information.

  3. Next, you will be asked to customize your coverage. Here, you can adjust the type and amount of coverage you want.

  4. Receive a quote. If you’re satisfied, you can purchase your coverage directly on the website—no extra steps required.

Filing a Claim

Filing an auto insurance claim with Toggle is straightforward. First, navigate to the claims section of Toggle’s website. You’ll then be prompted to log in. Once you do, you’ll need to answer a series of questions relating to the incident. You’ll be asked to provide information on the time, date, and location of the accident, in addition to information like the year, make, and model of the vehicles involved.

Next, you’ll need to provide some demographic information about yourself and any affected third parties—including information about their auto insurance policies, if they happen to be covered. You may also need to provide the names of first responders and a copy of the accident report, if applicable.

The amount of time it’ll take for your claim to be resolved will depend on a variety of factors, such as the nature of the accident, how complex the claim is, and more.

Scammers?
Not trustworthy. Here is a fair warning regarding this company. The saga began on January 04, 2024 when I noticed the first charge to my account. They obtained my financial information without my knowledge or authorization, and took money from my account. I never signed up with them. Furthermore, they offer Renter's Insurance, I am not a renter. They somehow had obtained the Year, make and model of my car, even that it is 4WD, as well as my name and mailing address and sent me a threatening notice saying they would be cancelling MY AUTO INSURANCE FOR NON-PAYMENT by 01/14/24, if I didn't pay $99.21. I immediately contacted my auto insurer upon receipt of the unsigned notice, dated 1/03/2024 and learned my insurance of 12 years+ with them remained in tact, up to date and current, with no money due. My account was first billed for $85+, the second time (about a week or so apart) for $119.21, apparently they added a late fee as well. I notified my bank, they stopped the charges on both occasions. I will be forwarding the evidence to the Insurance Commissioner of California to alert them to this apparent scam being perpetrated by this company from Delaware.
