Good Experience with WesLend
This is our first refi experience with WesLend Financial, and we are pleased with all aspects. We obtained the interest rate initially discussed, and had a choice of conventional and VA loans. Michael and Van provided constant updates and were both informative and pleasant. I'm no expert on the loan industry, but did a basic level of research beforehand.

Dishonest at best
Initial conversation was 2.1% and when it was nearing the finish line it was now 3.125%... My net worth over a million, virtually no debt and pulling over $200k yearly. They stated my debt to earnings were too low... but with a higher interest rate I was fine. truly laughable. Don't deal with these people. Find someone in your community that you can look in the eyes and have a fair/honest transaction. Randy in Texas

total bait and switch attempt
Was quoted today by loan officer 3.125% rate with zero closing costs after lender credits. I sent in all my paperwork as requested and then when I got the Truth in Lending statement there was $1650 in fees after credits. I confronted my loan officer regarding what he had quoted me in comparison to his disclosure and he danced around the answer then tried to blame it on a mid day price increase. I told him I called BS on that. As a prior 25 year veteran from the mortgage industry, I know how to read loan disclosures and could tell a bait and switch when i see one. I ultimately told him to cancel my application as I no longer trusted him with my refi.

This was my first time refinancing my mortgage and Joseph Medina and Van Nguyen with Weslend Financial were extremely helpful, very professional and answered all of my questions. I was very impressed with their knowledge and services, they answered my emails right away or they called me to make sure that I received the information requested. The whole process took about 41/2 weeks from start to finish! I would highly recommend them to anyone who would like to refinance their mortgage!

Simply the BEST!
I've worked with a number of lenders over the past 4 years and WesLend was by far and away the best. Very thorough process, helped us correct a few mistakes other lenders missed or more likely overlooked and ignored. Van Nguyen and Kiley Shank were excellent to work with. Explained the entire process in terms we could understand. They were also very patient, understanding and great communicators. We hit a few bumps in the road but they stuck by me every step of the way. Couldn't be happier with the level of service, very refreshing experience.

My Experience
Overall, everything went well and in a timely manner. There was good communication with the loan officer. The only area where I thought could have been a little different is the interest rate. I thought the rate could have been lower without having to buy it down.

I have refinanced many times. This refinance had more paperwork (60+pages) than I have ever had on a previous refinance. Blythe Cejka was my loan officer. She was delightful to work with throughout the entire process! She explained everything that I would need to gather and provide. Blythe was available and responsive whenever I had a question. She is very professional and handles all steps with ease. She was very proactive in keeping me informed of the process timeline. She provided almost daily updates of where we stood. Although the application was handled electronically, I never felt that I was just a number to her. She arranged fir the appraisal very quickly. Appraisers that I had called were scheduling at least a month out. The appraiser was onsite in 3 days! Amazing! They even sent a notary to my house for the closing! Blythe is truly an asset to the WesLend group. She is knowledgeable, professional, understanding and always available. I could NOT have had an easier or less stressful experience.

Simply Amazing Service
Simply Amazing Service. I wish I would have found WLF(WesLend Financial) before I started the journey of refinancing my home. Brad Cejka is who was assigned to my request. I had been told the same story by 5 other lenders that I would have to cash out to refinance. Brad discussed other options that the other companies never even mentioned to me. The goal was moving two a main and a secondary into the low interest rates that we have going now and Brad at WLF was able to do that for me. I can't say how much money he saved us in interest. I have no clue why the others were not as informed but Brad and WLF have earned a life long customer and I will tell everyone about him and this company. So if you found WLF ask for Brad and know that you will get the most knowledgeable mortgage adviser around. Thanks again Brad and WLF.

10/10 with Ray Martinez and Adan Guardado
Ray Martinez and Adan Guardado are amazing to do business with. They both made my refinance process very smoothly and it was so fast to close than any refinance I have done before in the past with other companies. It took 9 days to clear to close and 17 days to close and fund the loan. Every single time I called Ray or Adan they picked up the phone right away and answered all my questions. They are both very polite, professional, and experienced. It was the best and stress free experience I have ever had refinancing my home. 10 stars. It's extremely rare in 2021 to meet people who take their job seriously. I needed to refi quickly, and had already had a bad experience with Union Bank , so I was bracing for used-car salesman techniques. I hear Lenox ads all the time, so I've heard it all. But I called anyway. I met Sean Guiterrez, who was extraordinarily polite, professional, patient and diligent. Sean always answered the phone, responded to emails, and even weathered my frustration when underwriting kept asking for more documents. I had divorce documents to deal with, and he was great at handling sensitive issues. The refi closed in record time, (I believe 8 working days!!) , even with me traveling for work in the middle of this. Lenox, give Sean a raise before he gets poached away. Not kidding. My experience with Lenox is only as strong as it's people and Sean made it 99% perfect. Thank you Marc Atkinson

Best Refi Experience of My Life

We inquired about refinancing with weslend and received an almost immediate response from Brad Cejka. He was very helpful and informative. I will be back!
My refinance experience with Brad and Veronica was everything I wanted it to be. From the outset, Brad took the time to explain the process thoroughly and was very helpful along the way with any questions or concerns I had. I never had any issues getting a response from Brad regardless of the day or time. I do know that any loan officer on the front end is only as good as the loan processor on the back end of the process. That being said, Veronica did her job well, with ease and efficiency. Any surprises that popped up along the way, Veronica reached out immediately so we were able to take care it and not disrupt the process and agreed upon timelines. Brad will be my first call for whatever mortgage needs I have in the future.

GREAT experience on my home ReFi Loan with WestLend Financial. This is the second time that I used them for a home ReFi loan. When I was ready to refinance again I just contacted my loan officer, Brad Cejka, who assisted me about 5 years ago and he is excellent to work with. He got the ball rolling and walked me through every step. Along with Veronica who processed my loan I couldn't have asked for a better team. Brad was great. Upfront, honest, and to the point. He wont sell you dreams and fairy tales. You know where you stand at all times. He tells you whats needed to get your loan processed. I talked with Brad during a very stressful time, even took some frustrations out on him. The man is a saint, patient and effective. Veronica, my loan processor, worked around all obstacles and came up with solutions to every issue that arose. Even when I did all the wrong things, she was there to right the ship. This was the most professional and personable experience I have ever had getting a stressful task completed. They have earned my business and respect for life. They may not want it, I was a pain in the butt and I know it, but they have it.

We were very satisfied with the service we received working with Westland Financial in completing a home mortgage ReFi. Our loan adviser, Brad Cejka, who was very knowledgeable, always kept us informed and readily available to answer any question or concern we had. Our loan processor, Veronica, was very quick in getting our ReFi through the close of Escrow procedures efficiently. The only thing we were disappointed in was that we were not unable to get the ReFi with "No Closing" costs.

Horrible Follow Up
Service and follow up rank as the second worst experience in mortgage application just behind Wells Fargo. The initial discussions with the contact person were very good but all of sudden it was crickets, no follow up. When I finally was able to get hold of my mortgage person, I got a BS story which was basically an excuse for my application falling through the cracks. To make matters worse, the original rate which brought me to this company was no longer available. I requested to be contacted by a manager or director to express my concerns and disappoint (twice by email and once verbally) with no follow up. I went to another company, Cardinal Financial, and so far the service has been great. Buyer beware...don’t believe the advertisements, this organization rates a zero in follow up.

Weslend Lenox Home Loans
Greetings! Mike Rael did a fantastic job guiding me through the refi process. Due to Covid-19, there was quite a delay, however. The only reason I didn't rate a 5-star is that's perfection & virtually impossible; and also the communication Mike provided was sometimes delayed. I think he was slammed during covid as everyone was refinancing & selling. When I didn't get the desired interest rate, Mike not only called & emailed me but explained it well with no condescending remarks. Sometimes loan officers are rushed, but Mike's very thorough & knowledgeable. Combined w/ Gigi K., the processor, they make a winning & expert team! Kudos to Mike & Gigi for walking me through the refi process and being so professional & polite.

I'd stay away
I'd stay away! After initially being convinced this was my best option to proceed with for a refinance, 180 days later I am sorely disappointed in my choice. To begin with, it took approximately 90 days to close this refinance. I submitted the required documents within 3 days of being requested...My submittal was glanced over somehow only to be figured out three weeks later when I circled back with the mortgage analyst. Their initial closing estimate was 30 days or less. After that mishap, Weslend took an additional 60 days to have all the documents reviewed and a closing set up due to their inability and ineptness to hire appropriate personnel to meet the demand of the markets low interest rates. After all of that, my closing was missed because the attorney never received the closing documents on the prior day from Weslend's processing department. Finally, three days additional, Weslend was able to find another closing attorney and supplied them updated closing documents in a timely manner. The icing on the cake... the loan closed the last day of the month and was not funded until the following month. In short, the mortgage analyst sent me an email stating by 1st payment was not due for the standard 30 days from when the loan funded. I thought all was well after that email until I received statements from their servicing department stating that I was behind on a payment. A few emails back and forth and I was assured by the mortgage analyst my account was in good standing. A month later however, another statement stated I still had an outstanding payment due. A few more emails between the analyst, closing, and servicing they finally identify the issue of the closing date vs. funding date. The gist...an inability to communicate with internal departments at Weslend has led to my credit being hit and a surprise mortgage payment due! Of course, no apologies are given. Just emails on a Friday afternoon saying my credit will be hit if payment is not received over the weekend. When I call on a Friday around noon to servicing and the analysist in an effort to figure this out, of course no reply by either via phone or email.

Great decision to refinance with Weslend/Lennox!
Everything went as originally discussed on our loan closing. Closing fees, points & expected mortgage payment all came in under the original estimate. I appreciate everything Brad in his staff did to get our loan closed! We saved $300 a month on our home payment and paid off over $40,000 of personal debt..this was a life saver and changed our financial future immensely!

Very happy with Brad and Veronica! Lenox promised everything and came thru on those promises. It took a little time getting funded but my overall experience was amazing. This is the 2nd time I used Lenox and Brad Cejka who is very articulate when dealing with me a i know I'm not a easy person to deal with. Incompetent slow
Slow, too many broken promises to enumerate, lies, awful internet. SLOW. If negative stars an option I would give 5 especially after reading g their insipid response Avoid Westlend/Lenox at all costs Their rates and fees are market no better than Wells, Chase, AmeriSave, etc. Their underwriters are not trained.

Don’t use this company
Don’t use this company. We applied for a refinance. They never told the truth about a closing date. They constantly moved the date. From my sales person to the processor to the sales supervisor all I would get is that we are almost across the goal line. The problem is that they constantly moved the goal line. They would ask for documents, then more documents and after I sent them I had to call them only to hear we never got what you sent, twice. The processor told me he could not get in touch with my insurance company for the homeowners endorsement for 2 weeks, when he finally told me I got it done in one day. I gave them an end date before I canceled the deal. It came and went. I told them to cancel the deal and their response was the needed to run another credit report since the first one expired. I called the supervisor who told me he was out with Covid but would get in contact once he felt better. Never happened. Called the corporate office to talk to a customer service person to relay my experience, twice, but calls are unanswered. If you want massive aggravation use them. You can see by their lack of customer service reply’s they could care less about you. And oh yes, I was smart enough to check with my homeowners insurance company and they removed my current mortgage holder, replaced it with their company and never correct the situation.

WORST REFINANCE EXPERIENCE EVER!!
If you want an easy and quick refinance experience avoid Lenox Financial Mortgage Corp. I withdrew my application five months after applying and contacted a different mortgage company which had my loan funded in about five weeks. If you are interested in the details you can keep reading. I first applied for a refinance loan on 7/31/20. There was nothing unusual about my refinance and would be the third refinance on this house as interest rates have fallen. My credit rating is Excellent. I submitted all the requested documents within 5 days and I also signed or eSigned all disclosure documents within a couple of days of them being sent and finally on 9/29/20 I received notice my loan had been approved. The process took so long that I had to resign some disclosure documents. Then my loan was assigned to a loan processor and a loan underwriter for final processing. All communications with the underwriter had to go through the loan processor. The loan processor didn't contact me until 11/13/20 and then began the real nightmare. It seemed like each day I would receive a request for a new document. Sometimes it was a request for documents I had already submitted because the original documents became outdated. My house is in my family trust and thus began the demand for trust documents. Then they decided they didn't like the wording in the trust. The trust was prepared by a law firm with over 40 years of trust experience but they insisted on modifications. That was the final straw and FIVE MONTHS after applying on 12/22/20 I withdrew my refinance application. I contacted another mortgage company on 12/22/20 and to make a long story short my refinance loan funded on 1/29/21 with similar terms.

Worst refinance company ever
Worst refinance company ever. Run from them. They will never close a simple transaction that required no cash out just straight term and rate with a customer who has credit rating above 740. After 5 months and they still could not close after multiple go back. Had to cancel and move on from the loss of my time.

Not sure who is writing these glorious reviews but they may be relatives of the employees!!!. My experience was nothing more than a frustrating adventure that took 5 months 8 days to process and close the simplest loan in history. They string you along with Every excuse in the book to why they don’t return phone calls or the delays. I provided everything needed day one asked for with in moments of them asking for. Lie after lie Including manager I spoke to. Loan officer rude and arrogant. If I was not worried about getting extra credit inquiries I would have gone some where else and started over. So, beware of doing business with Weslend/Lenox!!! Just a real consumers POV

Terrible Customer Service
I spoke with Kiley Shank today Wednesday 12-22-20. Supposedly he is a SENIOR loan officer with 16 years of experience. He sent me my Loan estimate. I could not get any information from him like other companies about what he could do for us. When I asked him about appraisal costs and interest rates, he said I will go over that when your application comes back from underwriting. On Tuesday he text me and said the application went to underwriting it should be back in a few hours. I never heard anything until Wednesday he emailed the application to me. When I called him to discuss it, I was asking some basic questions, (sorry I do not do this every day) his response was, this stuff is common sense. I said now you are going to insult me. I could not believe this is coming from someone who is supposed to have good customer service in his line of work. Then he said what I was looking for was on page 1 or maybe 2, I am not sure. I could not find it. He said several times, I do not know what you are looking at but its right there. He said on page 3…, I said wait a minute is it 1,2 or 3. He said, there are 4 pages to a loan Estimate! Apparently, there are, too bad you, do not know, what information is on what page. The estimate is a fantastic deal “if” it really does close. According to these other posts Your company has issues. Your customer service sucks. He said when I get home I will email or call or take a picture UNDERLINE, HIGH LIGHT, BOLD PRINT, WHAT YOU, ARE TRYING TO FIND. I said so now you are going to call me back so you can insult, me? He said yeah okay. So, when he got home, he did email what he promised. I was very humiliated. If you talk to me like this now what will the service be like moving forward. Sorry, I will be doing my business with ROCKET MORTGAGE. Thanks for your time guys.

No closing cost REALLY MEANS NO closing cost!
What a great experience working with Lenox Financial. I first heard about Lenox on Sirius Satellite Radio and sometimes you wonder if "it is too good to be true?" Well, in this case, it is VERY TRUE! This was a refinance to get a better rate which resulted in a $300/month savings. And kudos to Blythe Cejka who was my Mortgage Advisor and worked as an air traffic controller to keep things going and getting all of the right stuff to Veronica who processed the loan. Everything was done on-line and the closing attorney came to my home. And...no surprises! As the commercial says, this is the biggest no-brainer of all time!

Definitely the worst experience trying to refinance our loan.Juan Ortega offered us the refinancing on good terms. We decided to accept his services and expertise.After two months of waiting and with very little communication he left us waiting. We didn't hear anymore from him. Very poorly service and professionalism from Mr. Ortega "loan officer". Actually, we wasted a lot of time. We don't recommend this company to anyone.

Started the refi process in August…
Started the refi process in August 2020. It is now December 3, and still haven’t closed, despite jumping through hopes for these people. Apparently, I need to resubmit documents because somehow they have expired due to their snails pace. Too deep in for now, but I will be pulling the plug if I don’t close before Christmas.

Mid-stream change of originator
Our initial call was good/informative, options discussed and once decided, forms completed online and submitted; then they sat for 2 months with no follow-up. I was too concerned as the loan originator had indicated turn times of 80-90 days. I did leave several messages with no response and finally called the corporate office. I spoke to someone at corporate who followed-up and explained the originator was now in a different role and his case load was still in flux. Our loan was re-assigned to originator Brad C. who did a very nice job getting the process back on track. He worked with Veronica the processor and everything went smoothly from that point forward. We were even accommodated after the documents were printed as someone we'd approved it without escrows which we didn't intend. Closing was rescheduled for a few days later to allow them to re-run the scenario with escrows and reprint the documents.

A genuine, no hassle refi!
Called WesLend Financial after hearing a commercial and was contacted by Brad the mortgage advisor, who took us through the process with no pain, no extensive forms production, no intrusive processing, no hassle. Brad and Veronica, the loan processor, did their magic and papers were signed in our home expeditiously with funding occurring soon thereafter. Very pleased!
